REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT/ MAINT OF LT POLES, PANELS, JUNCTION BOX, SHIFTING OF POLES, POLE PAINTING AND ALLIED WORKS IN DOMESTIC AREA AT AFS KUMBHIRGRAM

Material and labour for preparation of old painted surfaces of steel tubular pole any type incl cross/arms and painting with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer after cleaning/srapping of existing rusted surface incl cross arms, clamps etc for 8.5/9.00 meter long single pole complete including marking of pole No with white paint on black colour background with all arrangement for ladder etc all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting of bottom portion of the pole upto 0.75m from top of the copping with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of af colour over a coat of red oxide primer after cleaning of existing surface for steel tubular LT pole of any size complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour fluoresent Retro-reflective Tape of size not less than 50 mm width high grade quality of yellow/Red colour fixed on pole after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and directed. (Note : 2 run of tape (Yellow & Red) will be count one run) . Make : 3M or equivalent approved make.

Taking down of old unserviceable/serviceable steel tubular pole or concrete pole of (8.50/9.0/11.0) Mtr long with necessary demolition of concrete foundation, stay wire if any from existing position and kept in safe place for reusing of serviceable pole including excavation & earth work as reqd and removing complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing, transporting, errecting of old steel tubular pole obtained from item no. 4 at new location as directed all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Earth wks and PCC works shall be paid separately under respective items of this schedule. (ii) Cost for taking down and refixing of Old MS works/light fittings on old pole to new poles deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate.

Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D2,40mm graded aggregate ffor foundation of poles etc. all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C1,20mm graded aggregate for coping of poles etc. all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix of stay assembly for LT poles complete, comprising of gavanised steel stranded stay wire 7/3.15mm, galvanised steel stay bow 400 x 14, galvanized steel rod 2150 mm long 20 mm dia with nut bolts and washers, steel plate 230 x 230 x 6mm thick, 2 nos thimble, including dismantling old one complete all as specified and as directed. ( Note : PCC and earth work willbe measuredand paid for seperately)

Supply and fix cable junction boxes weather proof for outdoor installation for loop connection of street light cable of size 155x155x100 mm with 3 pole terminals fixed on pole steel/PCC with suitable two flat iron clamp 25x4mm with nuts and bolts (duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer) including provision for cable entry and exit and making holes on steel pole where required or directed, including dismantling old one complete all as specified and as directed. Material and labour for preparation of existing surface of Feeder pillar box /Junction Box/LT Panel and apply two coat of synthetic enamel paint by spray gun complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for street light bracket made out of GI pipe light grade 40 mm dia 1.2 mtr length bent to shape and reduced to required size at top upto 1.5m length by cutting, welding and well finishing including MS clamp of flat iron of size 40 x 6 mm suitable length 2 Nos complete with drilling, hole, fixing with nuts bolts and washers including painted with two coats aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer and dismantling old one. Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate 60cmx60cmx6.00mm thick electrode, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25mtr below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to earth lead of of 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of GI or steel as required and provision of earth lead protection pipe 40 mm dia GI (medium grade) upto 7.5 meters and connected to earth bar, watering pipe with 20mm dia GI (medium grade), funnel, wire mesh, alternate layers of charcoal and salt as ordered including excavation and earth work, PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 pit, 50mm thick, Pre-cast RCC (1:1.5:3) type A-1 cover including 8mm dia deformed/TMT bars @ 150mm C/C both way, etc complete as shown in electrical Plate No.3 of SSR Part-I (2009) and connected to earthing test point including test point terminal box compete all as specified and directed including testing on completion.
