Bank Protection work at Moyapur Semaphore of SMPA for the length of 120 metres in the district of South 24 Parganas

Earthwork in excavation in the canals / drainage channels / borrow pits / River bed / slope of bank as noted below as per designed section & throwing the spoils in layers of 25 cm. for making banks as per profile or to deposit the same in any other place within an initial lead of 30 metre and initial lift of 1.5 metre including breaking clods, rough dressing etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. In ordinary soil / local soil / soil mixed with moorum or kankar / silt, dry or moist / slushy silt / sticky soil.

Dismantle all types of Masonry excepting cement concrete plain or reinforced, stacking serviceable Materials at site &removing the rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 Mtr in ground floor including roof.

Dismantle all types of plain cement concrete works up to 150 mm thick stacking serviceable Materials at site andremoving rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 Metre in ground floor including roof upto 150 mm. thick.

Surface Dressing of the ground in any kind of soil including removing vegetation inequalities not exceeding 15 cm depth and disposal of the rubbish within a lead upto 75 m as directed.

Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity)

Collecting brick bats, brocken brick blocks, debris etc. from the slope bank of river and stacking the same at high bank within a lead of 100m and subsequently the same materials required to be dump/laid on any location at slope bend as directed with proper dressing as directed. (Payment to be made on stack measurement. Actual quantity will be record after deducting the void from the stack measurement).

Supplying Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles at work site, including dressing and making one end pointed. 20 cm av. diameter . Note: Diameter of pile to be measured at a distance of 1.5 meter from the thicker end.

Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles. 20 cm av. diameter. Note: Payment to be made on the basis of length driven into the ground. Diameter to be measured at 1.5 meter from the thicker end.
