Sch 'A' Part-I (Building Work):-This Schedule is not Pre-Priced by MES and the Pre-Priced rate indicated as "Rs. 0.00" under col.5 signifies this fact only.

Construction of block of Technical building (IGLOO building) complete all as specified and as shown on drawings. Note: The building work is deemed to include VIFT, side wall, toe wall with saucer drain, earth traverse etc; alongwith all other details as shown on drawings (including bringing of approved soil as required to be brought from out side MD land). In this connection, please refer Sch 'A' Note No. 6 (b) here-in-before.

Earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 60x60cmx3.15 thick buried in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25meters below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 meter below Normal ground level, earth plate surrounded 15cm thick layers of common salt and charcoal dust starting from ground below 15 cm of earth plate and up to 15 cm above the same. Copper plate connected with copper earth strip 20 x 3mm duly protected by light grade GI protection pipe 40mm dia by means of nuts, bolts and washers upto test point 7m all as shown in electrical plate no.5 connecting to earth test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion with following:- (a) Test point Copper Strip 20x3 mm size.

(b) Watering pipe GI light grade 20mm die from top of the earth electrode up to MS funnel with wire mesh embedded in floor of PCC earth pit. (GI Funnel should properly tightened on GI watering pipe and embedded in PCC floor of earth pit with open top suitable for watering of earth pits) (c) PCC earth pit 30x30x30cm constructed in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 exposed surfaces smoothly finished with 15mm thick cement mortar 1:6 plaster including RCC pit cover 25mm thick with 2 No's MS handles of 12mm die suitable for carrying of pit cover. (d) Angle iron frame made of 40x40x4 mm angle iron for 30x30 mm PCC pit for holding the pit cover. (e) Excavation and earth work in any type of soil, charcoal dust and salt, light grade GI watering pipe 20mm bore with funnel and wire mash and medium grade GI protection pipe bore and copper strip up to main earthing test point.

Deduction to be made from BOQ for Sch 'A' Part-IX (Schedule of credit) Amount of Rs. 1,76,700.00 during AOC. Note: Tenderers shall not quote for this schedule.
