Re-carpeting of main road of Tower-1 to Tower-16 and connected approaches of various building/magazine in EDK area at OFK

Scarifying or picking bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 Sqm , exc 50mm and not exc 100mm deep, removing scarified / picked materials to a distance of not exc 50m & stacking.

Preparation of black top surface prior to application of primer/tack coat by sweeping with brooms ,brushing with hard wire brushes & then with softer brushes for removing caked earth & foreign material etc and finally fenning the cleaned surface with compressed air , as directed to remove all loose dirt etc.

M & L applying evenly a Priming/Tack Coat with paving bitumen conforming to IS 73-2006, @ 10 kg per 10 sqm, sprayed uniformly over the dry surfaces using mechanical sprayers, any pools of excess bitumen left on any part of the surfaces must be swept out over the adjacent surface, and then a light spreading of sand shall be applied.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal,paving bitumen but making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings). depth of potholes exc 30 mm

M & L premixed bituminous macadam using paving bitumen conforming to IS 73-2006, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8-12 tonne power roller (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less ) using 4% binder by weight of total mix to make good all as speciefied in pot holes / depression in patches.

M&L, Providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete prepared in 'Hot Mix Plant and laid by mechanical paver machine, 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.50 % binder in content (paving bitumen conforming to IS 73-2006) by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete by 8-12 tonne power roller.

M & L premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cu.m. of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of paving bitumen conforming to IS 73-2006, per 10 sqm, applied by mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform smooth surface.

Surface excavation in soft soil soil n exc 30cm deep and averaging 9 cm deep and getting out and removing of excavted material to a distance of n exc 50mtr.

M&l 100mm thk moorum/red bajri spread ,rooled and compacted to gradient and camber required. rolling and consolidating with 8-12 tonne power roller.
