Works Description

Earth work excavation in all kind of soil up to 300 mm to 400 mm depth for roads, pathway etc. including shifting the surplus outside the campus. (Outside AMC Limits) (For New paver block base work)

Providing and laying, machine, mixed, vibrated, plain, cement concrete (PCC)/BBCC, 1:4:8 (cement: sand: coarse aggregate/ Brick bat) as levelling course for base as and when required in position including ramming, consolidating using compactor machine curing etc. All complete as per specifications. MACHINE MIXED

PCC (1:2:4) other specification same as above.

BBCC (1:4:8) using brick bats made from old brick removed from item no. 102. This item is for base of brick paving. Average 100 mm thickness base.

BBCC (1:4:8) using brick bats procured from outside by the contractor. This item is for base of paver block. Average 100 mm thickness base.

Carefully dismantling the old brick paving including sand bedding and levelling the sub base to received the new brick paving. The work also included some excavation wherever required. Including disposal of the debris out side the campus ( outside AMC limits ). The brick bats and full bricks shall be used for BBCC below paver block. Actual quantity laid shall be measured and paid.

Providing and Laying good quality CC INTERLOCKING PAVER BLOCK (60 mm thick) laid flat with average 50 mm thick sand bedding including watering and levelling the bedding, brushing sand into joints. Compactor to be used before spraying of sand after compaction spray sieved sand to fill the joints. Paver block specification : size as per availability of material colour : cement colour or any other Top surface : rough finish or any other Thickness:60 mm. Sample has to be approved by he IIMA before commencement of manufacturing .Actual quantity laid shall be measured and paid.

Removing and Refixing of existing old C.C. kerbing as instructed by site Engineer in charge. Rate shall be inclusive of necessary Excavation, P.C.C. (1:4:8), backfilling, Replacing damaged or broken kerb, filling with joints reach cement mortar (1:4), etc. complete as directed.

Providing & Laying CC pre cast KERB (300mm X 300mm X 100mm thick) fitted Vertically laid on cement mortar CM 1:6 over PCC base in line level including filling the joints with CM 1:3 all in line level etc. completed as directed. KERB Speciation's: Length = 300 mm, Height = 300 mm, Thickness = 100 mm, Grade = M-20, Color = Grey, Shape = Quarter Round, Top Surface = Smooth finish. Sample has to be approved by the IIMA before the commencement manufacturing. Actual quantity laid shall be measured and paid. (Rates inclusive 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 and excavation) No separate excavation paid for this item.

Removing and Refixing of existing paver block as directed by the site engineer. Rate shall be inclusive of line and levelling to match with existing pattern with new sand beading, replace damaged if any to match, joint filling, cement vata, etc. complete as per specification above mentioned item no.104
