SCHEDULE `A' PART-IX MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS OF WORK (Note: The contractor shall quote his rate for each of these items separately. The estimated rate is left blank since the same is not prepriced by MES)
ROAD/PATH
M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for laying and compacting (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM), grading as per Table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifictaions for Road and Bridge works, 2013. Note : (a) WMM shall be laid in layers each layer shall n.exc 75mm thick(compacted thickness)
FENCING / GATE
Taking down galvanised steel barbed wire of any size or of any description complete all as specified and directed
Taking down galvanised concertina coil of any dia fixed over the compound wall with necessary scaffolding alongwith the length of wall complete all as specified and directed
S&F 900mm dia Hot dipped galvanized for corrosive resistance punched tape concertina coil fencing, stretches along with two lines for RBT(Reinforced Barbed Tape) (supporting wire of the same material as concertina coil) having stranded specifications, average weight not less than 13.25 Kg/coil with coverage length of 9 metre including coating of px2 compound (Anti Rust) and fixed in angle iron brackets with and including using necessary scaffolding along the length of wall complete all as specified and directed.
EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY
Supply, Laying, testing & commissioning of 100mm bore Ductile Iron(DI) pipes, with spigot and socket centrifugally cast, class K-9, of type pushing on joints (Rubber gasket joints) confirming to IS-8329/2000, IS 12288, 1987 code (Tyton Joint) laid in trenches or on supports complete all as specified and directed
S & F Ductile Iron special fittings confirming to IS (any type, radius and angle) such as bends, Tapers, straight, increasing/decreasing or double socket/flanged end collars, connecting pieces etc, as required at site complete all as specified and directed.
S & F Cast Iron Air valve with single air outlet confirming to IS 14845 of size 80mm dia bore and fixing up in pipe water supply main of size 100mm dia bore complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for construction of valve pit of internal size 1200x1200x1050mm with Brick masonry built in CM (1:6) with MS cover 3 mm thick sheet over 50x50x6mm angle iron frame, and locking arrangement including necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, foundation using cement concrete type C2 1:3:6, and PCC 1:2:4 bed/ coping, Rendering 15mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4, including painting with two coat of bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer on all steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed
M & L for cutting DI pipes of 300mm dia and reducing to required length before laying or inserting new Tee of existing size of pipe and new pipe size 100mm bore pipe including jointing, testing complete all as specified and directed. Note : Tee of suitable size shall be measured and paid seperately.
EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY
M&L for boring under road with trenchless tecnology for road crossing by adopting trenchless tunneling work through specified pipe jacking method by erecting the equipment to true to the allignment and gradient by hydraulic pipe jacking technique complete including tunneling, excavation in any type of soils including hard rock, for and including HDPE pipe of size up to 150mm dia of in any length, any grade including for housing LT/ HT UG cables of size upto 95 Sqmm x 3 core for HT cable and necessary conveyance charges of machinery and other required materials in co-ordination with the concerned authorites complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for cutting chasing in hard standing road/path/drain making holes in concrete wall etc for passing through of cable and making good as per existing by using PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.
S & F Cable route Indicator made out of 150 mm round disc of cast iron duly written HT/11 KV cable properly fixed with nut bolts to angle iron 40X40X5 mm length 60 cms properly grouted in ground at a depth 25 cms with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate Size 20x20x20 cm under ground, the Angle iron shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. (excavation, returning filling and removal are included in the quoted rate)
Supply , Install, testing and commissioning of Indoor type HT vacuum circuit breakers floor panel of size 750mm x 1200mm extensible type coupled with exiting VCB panel having 1 Nos, out going VCBs of each capacity 11 KV, Minimum 630 Amp, 3 Phase, 3 wire, 50 Hz, having 26.3 KA breaking capacity, all specified as per IEC 62271-100 & IEC 62271-200 totally enclosed single bus bar for each phase, floor mounting, metal clad, flush fronted, horizontal draw out type, horizontal, isolation type, Indoor extensible type, with Electrical and Mechanical interlock and automatic safety shutter gear including padlocking arrangement, isolation plugs, assembly of 3 vacuum interrupters, with epoxy support insulations and self - aligning finger type isolating contacts, truck having integral racking with necessary interlocks ( for insertion and withdrawal of VCB), manual and automatic motor charged independent closing/ tripping spring , trip free operating mechanism with closing and tripping push buttons and mechanical breaker , all standard fitting and accessories of following :-

Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of 11 KV 630 Amps having short circuit capacity 21 KA for 3 Sec Outdoor (IP54), RMU (Ring main unit) 4 – way comprising of 02 Nos. motorized operated load breaker switch and 02 nos. 630 Amps fixed type motorized spring charging VCB electrolytic grade copper busbars all inside single, SF 6 gas filled, SF6 gas filled welded stainless steel 304/441 or better IP 67 Degree of Protection tank with min thickness , 2 to 2.5 mm thick for load bearing member and 1 to 1.6 mm for non load bearing member, internal arc classification, 21 KA for 1 sec on site repairable with site replicable / coupling / mechanism, etc. The enclosure shall have pad lockable doors as per OEM design, fully covering the front facia and cable boxes ensure fail safe anti theft protection. The unit along with Bus connected, fixed type Auxiliary transformer shall include the following along with all necessary accessories and fittings are required at site Make – ABB/ SIEMENS / C&S /L&T / SCHNEIDER
(A) Incoming Load Break Module - 02 Nos each consisting of following accessories: (i) Each switching – unit is designed as a three position switch. (vi)Right angle boots (push on type) Each set of 03 (vii) Arc proof cable covers having cable entry from bottom, front with interlocking mechanism including earth switch – 01 No. (viii) Capacitive voltage indication fixed type system as per IEC 6123 with LED – 01 Set (ix) Fault passage indicator – It is to be provided for each incomer Load break unit, FPI with LED / digital display to be added to detection of cable fault – 01 No (x) ON, OFF, Earth mechanical indication on the front mimic of the panel – 01 No Cable cover standard - 01.
(B) Outgoing VCB module 2 Nos each consisting of following accessories: - (i) Each function – unit consists of a vacuum – circuit breaker in combination with a three position – switch. The three-position switch fulfils the operation of the disconnector – earthing function. (ii) 11 KV, 630 Amps Fixed type VCB module with series disconnector cum earthing switch of short circuit breaking current / withstand –, 21 KA for 3 Sec Making Capacity – 50 KAp - 01 No (iii) Auxiliary contacts – 1 NO + 1 NC- 01 No. (iv) Stored – energy motorized high – endurance spring charging mechanism (M1+), with inbuilt spring charging lever and mechanically latched ON/OFF push -buttons to allow handle – less and un-inhabited operation – 01 No. (v) Cable terminals cable bushing situated not beyond 300 mm or as per OEM tested design from cable cover to allow ease of access for installation/testing/replacement purpose) with door arrangement for enhanced safety (IP54+IP3X) interlocked to prevent access up to 11 KV, 185 Sq mm, 3 Core, along with XLPE AL cable termination Each set of 03 (vi) Right angle boots (push on type) Each set of 03 (vii) 3 O/C + 1 E/F self-powered numerical protection relay with low and high set for Over current and Earth Fault. Relay should have facilities to display the maximum loaded phase current also. Relay shall record minimum 5 fault records with time stamping. Height of plinth should not be less than 1.00 mtr from ground level. NOTE :- (a)The above module consisting of Load break Switchs and VCBs shall be alligned appropriately and must have electrical and mechanical interlocking as per latest electrical safety norms including installation on plateform as recommended by OEM complete.
