Water Proofing treatment of PMI Roof
Cleaning of roof surface : Cleaning, btrushing and removing all unwanted /flacky particles from the existing surface , cleaned up to visible of hair cracks/gaps and cleaning of joints with air blower or water high jet spray.
Reparing of pot holes & cracks with PMC: Repairing of pot holes and cracks with polymer modified cement mortor(1:3) using URP of Dr. Fixit or similar chemical of Krishna Conchem/fossrock/sicco @7 Kg per bag of cement.
P&L roof treatment with PU elastometric: "Providing and laying water proofing roof treatment with PU elastomeric membrane on existing roof surface of PMI Institutional area including skyligths top, and sunshades as per direction of EIC. 1) Primer Coat : Applying one coat of PU based primer PR-71 @ 0.25 litre/sq.m incase of top coating with Technothane PU white of M/s. Choksey Chemicals Pvt. Ltd.(application as per technical data sheet of manufacrer) or primer coat with Baythane PU coating to be used as primer with dilution @ 1:1 with water, incase of use of top coating with Baythane PU of M/s. bayshield International.(application as per technical data sheet of manufacrer). or primer coat with primer prime seal (diluted with water 2:1)in case of use of top coat with Dr. Fixit Hydroshield PUD plus.(application as per technical data sheet of manufacrer). 2)Top Coating : Applying top coating of white pigmented, UV resistant, water based, single component PU elastomeric liquid membrane, DFT of coating should be 1.0 to 1.2mm (but not less than 1.0 mm) irrespective of application of no of coats. The approved coatings are Dr. Fixit Hydroshield PUD plus, Techothane PU white, manufactured by M/s.Choksey Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., Baythane PU of M/s. bayshield International. Complete work as per satisfaction and instructions of EIC.
