MAINTENANCE TO VARIOUS CAPACITY OF CENTRAL TYPE AC PLANTS OF VARIOUS MAKE AND REPAIRS TO ASSOCIATED MOTORS, PUMP SETS AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT NAVAL STATION BHEEMUNIPATNAM UNDER CWE NO 2 VISAKHAPATNAM

M&L for disconnecting electical/ mechanical connections and de-coupling Motor from pump/compressor, taking down the defective Induction Motor of any make / model shifted to work shop for dismantling motor, remove burnt out winding from stator and rewinding the stator with same gauge super enamelled copper conductor with necessary insulation materials, varnishing backing re-assembling motor including replacement of both end bearings complete after complete the job motor shifted to site and reinstalled at its original position including allignment with pump/compressor with electrical connections and testing for best performance complete all as specified and directed of the following capacities :-

Motor up to 5 HP

Motor upto 10 HP

Motor upto 15 HP

Motor upto 20 HP

Motor upto 30 HP

M&L for Repair and reconditioning of monoblock pump/ centrifugal pump connection after disconnecting and degutting the pump from foundation and transporting to the work shop. Pump should be dismantled completely and inspection shall be carried out. After complete inspection of the pump any machining jobs shall be carried out. Mechanical seals, gland packing, o-rings and other consumbles will be renewed major over hauling of the pump shall be carried out and boxed back test bed trails will be carried out at work shop at 1.5 times the working pressure. Pumps shall be transported back to INS Kalinga and regutting to be done and pump shifted to site and reinstalled at its original position including allignment with pump/ motor with electrical connections and testing for best performance complete all as specified and directed of the following capacities :-

Pump upto 10 HP

Pump upto 15 HP

Pump upto 20 HP

M&L for carrying out the complete leak rectification of the direct expansion system of following capacity central AC plants consisting of compressors, condensers, liquid & suction and discharge lines, and evaporator coil/ chiller and pressure control valves & lines and gauge board with Nitrogen gas, locating the leaks and rectifying the leaks and flushing the complete system and pressure testing & holding the pressure for 24 Hours complete all as specified and directed.

Note : (i) The rate quoted shall be deemed to included for labour, T&P,MS nuts,bolts, painting etc . (ii) Supply only spare parts will be measured and paid seperately against respective item and the unit rate quoted shall deemed to included the cost of labour for fixing the spares .

S&F in repairs Digital ammeter 3 phase, 5 amps, class 1, AC supply as fixed for existing panel complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling/taking down the old damaged /corroded part of the fondation of motor and pumps renewed foundation of motor and pump incl MS support channel, hard standing painted in existing colour and proper alignment of motor, pump complete all as specified and directed.

Notes: (i) In case of delay in the rectification of any defects is more than 24 hours for minor defects and more than 72 hours for major defects, the GE may at his absolute discretion to impose on the contractor to pay to the department a penalty of Rs 5,000/- for minor defects and Rs 10,000/- for major defects towards inconvenience caused to the users. The decision of the GE as to whether a particular defect occured is minor or major will be the final and binding. The above penalty shall be in addition to the provision made in condition 50 of IAFW-2249.
