REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF DI/CI WATER SUPPLY PIPE LINE IN RAMGARH CANTT UNDER GE RAMGARH

Excavation in trenches in soft & loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes,foundations,laying of cable, shafts, well, cesspits, manholes etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of not exceeding 25 cm thick after the cables & pipes etc. are laid, jointed & tested and foundations complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus excavated soil not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

M & L for laying plain cement concrete (1:2:4),type B-2( using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for supporting of CI/DI/GI pipes 0.60 RM below ground level and upto 5 RM above the ground level smooth finishing without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up cast iron water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead for 100 mm bore of pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up cast iron water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead for 150 mm bore of pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up cast iron water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead for 200 mm bore of pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up cast iron water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead for 250 mm bore of pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up cast iron water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead for 300 mm bore of pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of 100mm dia class K-7 Ductile iron (DI), pressure pipes with spigot and socket ends(for push on joints), centrifugally cast with cement mortar lining in inner side as per IS:8329/2000 (latest version) and other relevant standards and metallic zinc coating followed by a finishing layer of epoxy paint in outer side, suitable for push on joint (rubber gasket joint)with standard length , laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) Excavation & earthwork shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. (ii) Rubber gasket joint ( push on joints) for spigot and socket ends will be included in unit rate quoted by bidders, not any claim entertained on this matter at later stage. (iii) DI specials where required shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BOQ.

Supply and fix DI special suitable fittings such as bends ( any type, raidurs and angle) tapers, Tee pieces single branch, Collars, caps and plugs for DI pipe class K-7 upto 150mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F cast iron sluice valve 150mm dia, with stainless steel spindle and cast iron hand wheel complying with IS: 14846-2000, class PN 1.6 both ends flanged with 2 Nos rubber insertion gasket joints, nuts, bolts and washers of required size and Nos, complete including dismantling/taking down and removing of old unserviceable one, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F cast iron sluice valve 100mm dia, with stainless steel spindle and cast iron hand wheel complying with IS: 14846-2000, class PN 1.6 both ends flanged with 2 Nos rubber insertion gasket joints, nuts, bolts and washers of required size and Nos, complete including dismantling/taking down and removing of old unserviceable one, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Brick work using old size sub class "B" bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 etc for supporting of CI/DI/GI pipes including 12 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:6 including dismantling and removing complete all as specified & directed.
