not older than three months and onwards with Taxi/maxi passing with

Driver 24 Hrs. for three years, for maintenance work for Maroli sdn (for

Maintenance Work) under Navsari rural Division. For 3000 KMs. Per

month. The cost of diesel, insurance etc. to be borne by contractor.

1. Vehicle should not more than three months old and should be of

good condition.

2. Maxi passing is required.

1. Should this tender be accepted I / We hereby agree to abide by and

fulfill all the terms and conditions of the “Tender Contract for

Company the sum of money due.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS & CONDITIONS

1)Blank tenders are invited for hiring of Diesel driven utility type Open body

jeep for a period of Three years(Latest model not older than three

months& onwards).

2) You will have to mention regarding Model, registration number and

insurance and position of vehicle.

3) Before older than three months model will not be considered. All vehicle

documents should be submitted with tender otherwise same will be liable

4) The touring journey covers the area within the Gujarat state and as per the

instructions of officer in-charge.

6) The rate quoted shall be for Three year contract basis. Thus rate will

remain for complete period of thirty six (36) months of execution of order.

7) The Company reserves the right to terminate the contract any time without

assigning any reason by giving one month notice in writing. The contractor

shall not be entitled any compensation for termination of contract.

8) The contractor will have to fulfill the conditions of contract of labour

regulation Abolition Act.1970 and furnish the records failing which payment

will not be made.

9) Vehicle will have to be sent along with well experienced driver with

necessary tools and tackles.

10) Generally, vehicle will be required as per “Schedule-B”.

11) The Company will give advance intimation for requirement of vehicle in

emergency and during odd hours. The contractor shall have to provide the

vehicle within an hour of intimation, failing which vehicle shall be hired

upholstery covered with clean covers and shall be washed at regular

intervals of a week.

13) The contractor shall allow carrying line & Sub-Station Materials

instruments along with officers and line staff.

14) The driver of the vehicle shall be well dressed as per R.T.O. Rules and

behaved with manners and respect with officers/staff of the Company.

15) The driver should be provided with enough money to cover the cost of

diesel, repairs and incidentals expenditure while on journey.

16) No advance for hiring of vehicle shall be paid.

17) The bill in duplicate should be forwarded to The Executive

Engineer(O&M), DGVCL,Navsari Rural Dn and payment will be made by

RTGS/NEFT only.

18) Opening and closing kilo meters readings and kilo meters travelled

should be got certified and dully signed by the officers traveling in the

vehicle, in absence of the above requirement bill will not be passed.

19) Nothing will be paid extra during utilization vehicle on Sunday or holiday

on account of salary & wages, O.T. of drivers, only one weekly off as

desired by Engineer-in-charge will be given.

20) It is whole and sole responsibility of vehicle owner during accident to

pay compensation or damage to the persons involved as per law or Act.

21) The driver shall be fully instructed for the good behavior and to drive the

vehicle as per directives of officer-in-charges. In case driving found rough

contractor shall have to replace the driver with good one.

22) In case of any disputes, any discrepancy the decision of the Executive

Engineer(O&M), DGVCL, Rural Division, Navsari will be final and binding to

the contractor.

23) During the journey, all the R.T.O. rules and regulations should be

followed scrupulously and contractor will be responsible for any

repercussion arise d for non-observance of R.T.O. Rules.

24) If the contractor fails to provide the vehicle any day as per contract

Rs.1500/- per day as penalty will be levied from the bill of the contractor,

except in force major condition. The decision of The Executive

Engineer(O&M), DGVCL, Rural Division Office, Navsari will be final for levy

25) During repairing of vehicle, another vehicle is required to be provided &

replaced against it.

26) The driver must be fixed for a particular vehicle/except emergency of

specific definite reason and there is no frequently change during working

with the company in prescribed format before execution of work (order).

The cost of stamp fee shall be borne by the contractor. You have to do an

agreement at the office of The Executive Engineer (O&M), DGVCL, Rural

28) The contractor will have to execute an Indemnity Bond on stamp paper

of Rs.300=00 at his cost before commencement of order starting that for

any accident mishap or damage to the contractor’s staff/equipment or any

other persons/vehicles due to non-observance of safety measures, DGVCL

shall not be responsible.

29) Price variation condition is acceptable if Govt. will change the price of

petroleum i.e. Diesel only. For every one rupees rise or fall in the price of

diesel per liter 00.10 p.s. per KM will be given or Recovered on proper rate

basis on the production of authentic documents.

30) The 5% tender value is required to be paid on A/c of Security Deposit is

to be paid by demand Draft in favour of Dakshin Gujarat Vij Co. Ltd. in the

respective offices before the work order is issued.

31) The vehicle supplied should be fully insured; insurance for Driver should

also be arranged. Xerox copies should be submitted to Rural Division Office,

32) Photo and driving licenses of the driver will be submitted to the order

placing authority for record.

33) The Head Quarter of vehicle will be as per Schedule-B and journey

kilometers will be considered from Head Quarter to H.Q.

34) The contractor shall make his own arrangements for the Boarding,

lodging of the driver.

35) Before the vehicle is put on hire the contractor shall produce the

following documents for the inspection and verification to vehicle in charge.

A) Insurance Certificate covering period up to date.

B) Registration certificate Book with Tax paid up to date.

C) Road permit (Goods Passing) for public use in taxi quota.

D) Pan card.(Income tax office)

E) Any other documents relevant relating to hire of vehicle.

G) RTGS / NEFT Detail.

36) The contractor must follow all the rules, regulations and enactments’

under the labour laws relating to engagements of persons by him.

37) No interest shall be paid by the Company on Security Deposit.

38) Tender fee paid for purchase of tender is non-refundable.

39) The speed meters of the vehicle must be maintained with full accuracy

and in working order in all the times. Any defect noticed there in must be

rectified at the earliest in a period not exceeding two days. All time, meter

starts working the KMs. of journeys for various places shall be decided by

the contract or on its termination. The security deposit shall be paid on

production of “No Objection Certificate” of the concerned.

41) Toll tax shall be reimbursed after claim in bill with documentary proof.

42) Company shall have right to hire vehicle from other agency at the risk

and cost of contractor in case of default.

43) Vehicle will have to be sent along with driver every day to Executive

Engineer (O&M), DGVCL, Navsari Rural Dn under Rural Division Navsari as

per requirement of Engineer-in-charge otherwise penalty will be levied as

per clause No.26.

44) Vehicle along with driver will be under the control of Deputy Engineer

(O&M), DGVCL, Maroli SDn Office, for 24:00 Hrs as decided by Engineer-in-

45) You will have to bear all the expenses of driver for monthly salary and

outside journey with night halts anywhere in Gujarat State.

46) The Executive Engineer (O&M), Rural Division, Navsari reserves the right

to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons thereof.

47) Conditional tender cannot be accepted.

48) The rates should be quoted separately for each vehicle in words and

figure properly without over-writing.

on printed letter pad of contractor.

52) The vehicle in charge is wholly responsible and answerable for Misuse of

vehicle, found by the undersigned.

53) The vehicle once inspected and approved by the Engineer for hire shall

not be changed or substituted by the contractor except on orders from the

Engineer or on becoming defective/off road due to accident, break-down

54) If vehicle will not stay for twenty four hours then penalty will be

deducted from the bill as DGVCL norms.

55) Rates for excess KMs traveled by hired vehicle beyond 3000 Km’s per

month is admissible occasionally, with written permission of higher

56)Any excess travel of Vehicle beyond 3000Kms/Month by the officer in

charge of the Vehicle shall be under the written approval of higher

authority and the same shall be regularized by an office note giving clear

reasons for the traveling beyond stipulated Kms.

57) Contractors should possess PF Code Number in the name of the Agency.

Contractor who does not possess PF Code will not be considered for

acceptance of Tender.

58) Vehicle will be utilized in any sub-division under Navsari Rural division as

per directives of undersigned.
