Construction of New Dock Inspector Building cum canteen in place of existing dilapidated building in West Ore Berth in Port area

Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and for all lift, as directed by Engineer-in-charge, as required and as directed by Engineer-in- Charge, complete.

Pumping out water caused by springs/tidal/river seepage/broken mains/drains including hire of pumpset, operator, man mazdoor, hoses, priming/fuel/consumables, leads, lifts and all incidental works etc., as required and as directed by Engineer-in-charge, complete.

Providing Open timbering over areas including strutting, shoring etc. complete. (Measurements to be taken of the face area timbered) Depth exceeding 1.5 m but not exceeding 3 m etc., as required and as directed by Engineer-in-charge, complete.All labour and materials.

Supplying and filling in plinth with manufactured sand derived from recycled concrete aggregate under floors, including watering,ramming, consolidating and dressing etc., as required and as directed by Engineer-in-charge, complete.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of grade 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, complete. All labour and materials.

Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work of M30 grade with minimum cement content of 350 kg /cum ; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana/ Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement. All works upto plinth level, as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, complete. All labour and materials. Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 110% of the minimum specified cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement.
