URGENT ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL REPAIR WORKS TO BE CARRIED OUT AT VARIOUS LIFT IRRIGATION SCHEMES OF SUB DIVISION PATTAN.

100 KVA HT/LT transformer Lift Irrigation Scheme Guiwa by way of: Disconnecting the transformer from HT and LT side cable lowering down from the bed, loading in private load carrier using channels, chain pulley blocks etc. then shifting to workshop and un-loading of same at workshop for necessary repairs.

Opening the lid of the transformer draining transformer oil detaching the core assembly from bush rods and other clamps taking out the core assembly by means of chain pulley block and checking and assessing the damages.

Providing, fabrication and fitting of fresh HT coils as per the sample out of aluminum wire. (12 coils @ 04kg/coil approximately =48kg).

Providing, fitting of insulation material such as card board, lathered paper, cotton tape, PVC paper, core sheets, gasket, sleeves, nuts and bolts etc. The job also includes varnishing and heat treatment of coils.

Providing and filling of fresh HT transformer oil of approved grade.

Back carriage of transformer in private load carrier through skilled labour, tools and tackles upto site, unloading at site and assembling HT/LT connections and testing on full load.

Deducting the cost of scrap @ 80% of the total value of S.no 03.

Repairs to 200 mm diameter rising main at Lift Irrigation Scheme Guiwa: Repairs to the underground 200mm dia MS rising main laid in the orchard at two spots along the steep slope by way of using earth excavation using manual labours to carefully expose the pipe to facilitate welding process without damaging pipe by digging a trench having volume of about 1.5×1.5×1= 2.25 cum around the pipe. The job involves cutting a window using oxy-acetylene gas cutter plant at site of suitable size for welding inside the pipe. The job then involves cleaning of rust around cracked portions of pipe in order to carry welding process by chipping off rusted layers inside the pipe. The cracked portions of the pipe shall be plugged by using MS flat of 05 mm thick, of suitable width and lengths to cover the longitudinal and circumferential cracks inside/outside the pipe. The job includes hammering of 05 mm thick MS flat plates to match the profile of the pipe and then welding of the same to the pipe along the sides through multiple weld runs using superior quality electrodes to ensure strong and leak proof joints. After completing the welding works inside pipe the cut out window shall be fitted back on pipe by carrying out multiple weld runs along the edges of window. After every weld run the deposited oxide layer shall be chipped off before and weld bead shall be exposed for carrying out subsequent welding works on joint. All above jobs includes hiring charges on account of carrying using D.G set, welding set, oxy-acetylene gas cutter, load carrier, manual labours and skilled welder for completing the repair work. All the tools and tackles required for completion for job shall be arranged by the contractor after conducting repairs the rising main shall be tested on full load followed by refilling of excavated trenches.

Repairs to LT transmission line at Lift Irrigation Scheme Mandyari damaged due to strong winds and uprooting of trees by way of realigning and erection of 09 m tilted steel tubular poles (03 no.) by way of excavation of pit and back filling of soil and consolidating each deposit layer by ramming and watering etc. The job also includes tightening of drooped ACSR conductor. The job includes cost of engagement of skilled labour for execution of job at site. The job also includes providing and fitting of 01 no. LT bush rod, bush cup with packing material for 250 KVA HT/LT distribution transformer at Lift Irrigation Scheme sedpow Ghat.
