C/O Raw Water, Clear Water and Sub Storage Tank Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) RCC Raw Water, clear water and sub storage Reservoirs as per capacity given below including excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil. including PCC (1:3:6) in foundation and M:25 /design mix in bottom slab/raft ,walls and beams and RCC M-30 Design Mix in roof slab/dome with provision of inspection path around the dome with all allied Civil Works such as C/O. chamber for valves, refilling and disposing of surplus excavated earth with in all leads and lifts. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI/MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside, CI cowl type ventilator, MS manhole covers of size 680x680 mm with frames of heavy duty with proper locking arrangement, water level indicator, plinth protection, lightening conductor, expansions joints, soil testing report of soil, structural drawings etc. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness, All works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. CONVERSION OF EXISTING SLOW SAND FILTER (SIZE 12.50X8.90X3.00) MTRS INTO THREE UNITS OF RAPID SAND FILTER SIZE (3.90x8.90x3.30) MTRS BY MAKING 2 NOS PARTITION WALLS 200MM THICK AT EQUAL DISTANCE & RAISING HEIGHT UPTO 30 CM. (Refer Vol-I Data Sheet No.3 for further details ) Providing, installation, testing and commissioning of Rapid Sand Filters 3 nos units of size 3.90x8.90x3.30 by construction of 2 nos partion walls at equal distance in the existing slow sand filter of size 12.50X8.90X3.00 as per proper design & drawing with all structural requirements including cost of partion wall 2 nos under drainge system based upon header lateral distribution theory using pipe based screen latrals to be insttalled perpendicular to header on both sides and space equally. The V-wire screen filter laterals made of Stainless Steel 304 grade to be fitted on suitable size UPVC base pipe, designing, providing and fixing suitable piping network from existing compressor to the converted rapid sand filter units (3 Nos) alongwith suitable HDPE/UPVC air header assembly for each unit and required accessories for air distribution, fixing the lateral with suitable fittings like Tee, Clamp, saddle, nozzles, washers, nut & bolts and other required accessories etc. Supply and placing of filter media having size 0.45mm to 0.80mm upto a depth of 800mm above the header lateral drainage system, C/O RCC or fabricated with 5mm thick MS Plate channel/drain of (size 300x400mm) for back wash waste water trough and jointing the same with CI sluice valve to 200mm dia alongwith required accessories (bends, flanges, gaskets etc.) to the existing scour pipe for all three units, Providing and fixing at site the required size pipe network for carrying raw water from secondary settling tank/clearfire to all the rapid sand filter units using suitable size sluice valve with all kind of required accessories (such as bends, flanges, gaskets etc.), Providing fixing and grouting (including demolition of wall for holes) the required size pipe network for filter water out let from each unit to the main supply line using required size sluice valve with all kind of required accessories (bends, flanges, gaskets etc. as well as sluice valve chamber of suitable size), C/O inspection chamber of Size (1.50x1.50x1.20 in two compartment) fitted with top cover of transparent sheet of acrylic fiber for inspection of filtered water and fixing of white glazzed tiles at bottom and sides of chamber, Extension of existing back wash water GI pipe line 150mm dia from adjacent converted filter bed to the proposed rapid sand filter units using CI sluice valve 150mm dia with all kind of accessories (such as bends, flanges, gaskets etc.)
Schedule A2 -Pumping Machinery and Electrical works Providing/installation of submersible pumping set of KSB/Calma/Kirloskar/JOHNSION/BS/SABAR/OSWAL make comprising to latest relevant BIS Code. The pump should be fitted with impeller of suitable alloys as per IS: 8034-1976 latest suitable for Raw water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP & RPM as required reputed make conforming to IS: 9283-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips , depth gauge and all allied accessories of reputed/ approved make etc. and suitable for operation on data given below:- (Booster stage) For detailed design parameters/ requirements are given in data sheet No. 7 in Vol- I. The power of electric motor should be at least 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 25% of the duty point head. The motor should be as per IS: 325-1978 with up to date amendments read with IS: 900-1972. It should include cost of bearing nuts, bolts, pointing, earthing, and all allied accessories etc. and should meet the following requirements:-SITE CONDITIONS : Location of Site About 2 Km from Ghumarwin Town. Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of galvanized MSERW flanged pipes including cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO 3183-2007 Grade L210 or A as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 4m - 6m, The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints as per table below conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with a electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S. nut and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fiber jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick sas per IS: 2712-1965 & 95% butt welded joints by considering minimum three layers. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers on outer face + one layer on inner face to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipes should be conformed to IS: 5822-1994 (earth work in trenches, MS flanges and butt welded joint to be measured and paid for seprately) . The pipe shall have zinc coating as per IS:4736 in factory latest with upto date ammendements.(Refer Vol I Technical Specification and Data Sheet No. 5.
