PAINTING TO CERTAIN LOCATIONS OF RUNWAY, TAXI TRACKS, PAVEMENTS AT AF STN PHALODI

M & L for preparation of existing painted/unpainted surfaces on Runway & PTT (painting lines, dashes, arrows, threshold, touchdown point, designation letters etc) of pavements with compressed air blower 50 to 90 PSI, coir, wire brushes to remove all loose dirt, dust, grease spots or any foreign materials etc, over 10 cm in width or girth and applying a coat of water based (water thinable) acrylic road marking paint (Black/white/golden yellow) as per Colour codes (Golden Yellow ISC 356, Traffic white RAL 9016, Pasteal Orange RAL 2003 & Graphite Black Ral 5004) the approved shade and pattern with black colour, border strips on either sides of other colours marking, complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(i) The Black strips on either side of other colour paint line, arrows letter, dashes shall be measured combined width wise for the purpose of calculating the area of painting. (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of masking tape to protect pavement surface for spilled out of paint and removal & disposal of the same from MOD land. (iii) Site availability shall be as per User's /site requirement. (iv) Rate including from any aircraft coming and stoppage of work in a day.

M & L for preparation of existing painted/unpainted surfaces ATC Dispersal, HU dispersal, all links, loops & ORA (painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc) of pavements with compressed air blower 50 to 90 PSI, coir, wire brushes to remove all loose dirt, dust, grease spots or any foreign materials etc, over 10 cm in width or girth and applying a coat of water based (water thinable) acrylic road marking paint (Black/white/yellow/golden yellow/orange etc) as per the (Colour codes Golden Yellow ISC 356, Traffic white RAL 9016, Pasteal Orange RAL 2003 & Graphite Black Ral 5004) approved shade and pattern in golden yellow line 150mm with 25 mm side black border strips on either sides of other colours marking, complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(i) The Black strips on either side of other colour paint line, arrows letter, dashes shall be measured combined width wise for the purpose of calculating the area of painting. (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of masking tape to protect pavement surface for spilled out of paint and removal & disposal of the same from MOD land. (iii) Site availability shall be as per User's /site requirement. (iv) Rate including from any aircraft coming and stoppage of work in a day.

M & L for preparation of existing treated/untreated surfaces of pavement with wire, coir brushes compressed air blower to remove all loose dust, dirt , grease spots etc and applying a one coat of white wash, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in -charge.

M & L for preparation of existing painted/unpainted surfaces (painting lines, dashes, arrows, threshold, touchdown point, letters etc) removing existing paint by paint removers or burning off by blow lamps coats of 10 cm in width or girth and applying a two coat of water based (water thinable) acrylic road marking paint (Black/white/yellow/golden yellow/orange etc) as per the (Golden Yellow ISC 356, Traffic white RAL 9016, Pasteal Orange RAL 2003 & Graphite Black Ral 5004) approved shade and pattern with black colour, border strips on either sides of other colours marking, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The Black strips on either side of other colour paint line, arrows letter, and dashes shall be measured combined width wise for the purpose of calculating the area of painting. (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of masking tape to protect pavement surface from accidental spillage of paint and removal & disposal of the same afterwards.

Dismantling of existing distance to go marker DTGM boards and sign board of any size and description fixed in any position from shoulders of runway/Taxiway and stacking and removing from site and making good to disturbed area complete all as specified

S&F visible distance to go marker (DTGM Boards),each face (perforated) of size 1.20m x 1.50m of triangular (hollow) shape, made of frangible high grade reinforced plastic board, internal structure fabricated using 04 Nos fiber channel 65 x 30 x 3 cm thick monolithic structure to withstand high velocity winds resist temperature varying from extreme cold environments to sweltering hot conditions, the entire triangular structure fixed on 03 Nos, 40mm dia 2.10 mtr long PVC pipe with suitable size of screws @ 15cm C/C and the distance go marker monolithic structure embedded in plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate in pit of size 15cm x 15cm x 15cm and finally sticking the numerals on (two) view face of board with high intensively prismatic reflector sheet 15cm wide and height of numerals as per requirement of Aviation guidelines complete including excavation/earthwork in hard/dense soil, returning filling and removal of surplus soil etc outside vicinity of Runway complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of existing damaged/unserviceable Sign Boards of any size and description fixed in any position from shoulders of runway/Taxiway/Links and stacking and removing from site and making good to disturbed area complete all as specified

S&F of Sign boards of any size and position from shoulders of runway/Taxiway/Links and the supporting structure described as under:- (a) Sheet & Frame :- UV protected sheet 3mm thick, with Air pocket ,100% UV resistance for 1000 Hrs, weathering tests or tensile strength as per ASTM G53 and very low flammability as per S-6746, Appx "N" 1994 , temperature resistance (-)40 degree centigrade to (+)80 degree centigrade and able to withstand wind to wind force of 150kg/hr, fixed on non-metallic frame/UPVC square tube frame having minimum tensile strength 4000 kg Sqcm, impact strength of 139 Kg/Sqcm. Sheet & frame mounted to 1.80mm to 2.0mm thick GFRP cased on GI tubing light grade 40mm-2 Nos, 1.20m length each complete all as specified and directed. (b) Sign Board :- Retro Reflective Sheeting, Class C, sheeting 3M Diamond Grade 3 (DG3) confirming to ASTMD 4956-09 type-XI with pressure sensitive adhesive fixed to the UPVC sheet & frame as per manufactures instructions. Size and shape of signs/number/indications & letters etc. complete all as specified and directed. (c) Sign Board fixing :- PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in pit of size 45 x 45x 60 cm & including excavation/earthwork in hard dense soil, returning filling and removal of surplus soil etc, outside taxiway/Runway/Links complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of interlocking tiles of any description, any thickness all as specified.

M & L for 100mm thick machine pressed precast interlocking paving blocks factory casted using grey cement and pigment, casted in an automatic plant working on vibration and simultaneous hydraulic compression from top, confirming to IS-15658-2006 and of shape hexagon/ triangular/ zigzag/ I-shaped etc. as directed having compressive strength not less than 400 Kg/ Sqcm (M-50 Grade) etc complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto as per Srl item No 10.00 (here-in-above) but except interlocking paving blocks i.e. using old interlocking paving blocks obtained from dismantling under serial item No. 09.00 (here-in-before) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition concrete in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 100 mm thick cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 as in sub base all as specified and directed.

M & L for Sand filling under floors 25 to 30mm thick layer of sand cushioning including filling the interstices complete all as specified and directed.

Filleting of section exc 25 sq cm but not exc 50 sq cm, in any position and to any shape in cement mortar 1:4 including excavation and earth work and all mitres, stops, etc.
