SERVICE CHARGES
Chemical Internal cleaning if Required of coil includes activity form
(a) Prepare Boiler and systems for pre-chemical internal cleaning if required.+C9:C18CC9:C23
(b) Connect the chemical circulation pump to coil inlet.
(c) Connect flexible hose pipe to coil outlet for recirculation of chemical
(d) Arrangement of fresh water transfer to temporary tank.
(e) Addition& mixing of chemical in Tank.
(f) Start the Chemical Circulation with Temporary pump.
(g) Circulate the chemical & observe the water level in tank.
(h)Once the chemical cleaning is over flush the coil with Alkaline chemical to neutralize the water in coil.
(j) Drain the water from Coil & fill with fresh feed water.
(k) Install the inner jacket cover with its proper packing.
(l) Install the top cover of the boiler with its proper packing & mounting accessories.
(m) Reconnect the Boiler water feed pump again with new gaskets.
(n) Install the Burner again on to top plate with packing.
(p) Connect the Fuel piping, air atomization piping, electrode cables etc.
(q) Take trial for air/fuel Leakages.
Cleaning of Boiler by Water Washing (Coil/Jacket/Inner Jacket) Includes activity from.
(a) Disconnect the Burner, oil line, Electrode cables.
(b) Remove the Burner from Top plate.
(c) Remove Boiler top cover with its packing & top accessories.
(d) Remove Inner Jacket Cover & its packing.
(e) Prepare the boiler for its external cleaning.
(f) Once the access to the helical coil is made clean soot deposits accumulated in bottom part of the boiler by water washing and ensure furnace drain is clear.
(g) Examine accessible areas of coils, shells and boiler insulation refractory work for soot deposits, corrosion/Wastage and defect, or damages observed except refractory work by changing all the gaskets/packing & hardware.
(h) Clean the coil inner surface by wire brush.
(j) Again, clean the coil with water.
(k) Install the burner with oil line,electrodes& solenoid valve connection done & make the burner ready for firing.
(l) Box-up boiler and dry out boiler/refractory by firing the boiler in low fire gradually.
Servicing of Combustion Equipment
(a) Burner removal with oil hoses, airline& electrode removal.
(b) Assessment of air/fuel hose pipe condition/dismantling & assembly.
(c) Burner plate removal from top plate.
(d) Diffuser plate removal, cleaning & assembly.
(e) Photocell removal & its viewing port cleaning.
(f) Burner gasket replacement
(g) Check the photocell.
(h) Checking of electrodes, cleaning the same, Checking of sparking testing.
(j) Nozzle dismantling /cleaning /reassembly.
(k) Electrode removal /Cleaning, examine electrodes tips, firmly secured in the porcelain &their caps, installation & its setting.
(l) Electrode cap removal/cleaning.
(m) Fuel solenoid valve dismantling /Seat +diaphragm check & assembly.
(n) Sight glass (viewing) removal & cleaning.
Overhaul of Feed Pump and Associated Fitting
(a) Clean and examine feed pump suction strainer. Replace the sealing gasket if found damaged.
(b) Remove Pump front Valve Block & inspect cup Washers in suction Discharge port with NRV mechanism.
(c) Replace the Washers, NRV assembly if found damaged with new one & reassemble the pump.
(d) Overhauling of feed pump relief valve. Examine all parts of the valves & lap it if necessary. If the seat is damaged beyond repair replace the Valve with new one.
(e) Examine holding down arrangement of feed pump and its motor. Tighten foundation bolts as necessary.
(f) Check tension and alignment of feed pump belts and adjust as required. Check alignment of pump & motor pulley. Check for key way.
(g) Check the Flange joints of pump suction & discharges. Replace in necessary.
(h) Check the Flange hardware & replace if necessary.
(j) Apply grease to moving part as required.
Overhaul of FD fan (Blower)
(a) For Bearing greasing disconnect motor, remove fan from motor & do greasing.
(b) Fan motor terminal replacement.
(c) Fan leveling & foundation bolt tightening.
(d) Disassemble the fan with air duct, casing suction damper & Impeller. Assembly of Fan with leveling.
(e) Fan air sealing arrangement overhauling.
(f) Fan casing hardware replacement.
(g) Fan suction damper removal& it’s overhauling.
(h) Fan suction air duct removal & suction air control damper replacement if necessary.
(j)Fan foundation frame change with its hardware if necessary.
Overhaul of Fuel Oil Pump
(a) Dismantle fuel oil pump with its inlet & outlet fuel piping removal from base frame.
(b) Dismantle pump internals like Pressure regulating mechanism, Cleaning of the pump internals & reassembly.
(c) Removal of pump from base frame removal of coupling & pump mechanical seal assembly. If found leaking, replace with new one. Assemble the pump with motor & its alignment.
(d) If Fuel pump is not developing pressure, then dismantle it form base frame.
(e) Remove the coupling, replace it with new &reassembly of the pump & motor with alignment.
Overhaul of Safety Valves
(a) Check working of both safety valves with boiler pressure set at 10kg/cm2 as per the procedure in boiler manual.
(b) Open the valves from the Steam Header with inlet & discharge line opened if found leaking.
(c) Check the discharge pipe condition & replace if the pipe line is corroded.
(d) Dismantling of the valve & accessing the condition of the Blow down ring Valve seat assembly. Lap the seat if seat is leaking & reassemble the valve after complete overhaul.
(e) Fixing of valve on to steam header with New gasket &hardware set. Connect discharge pip line with new gasket
(f) Check the operation of the valve again on boiler & set the valves if required.
(g) Lock the safety valve setting.
Overhaul of various valves
(a) Remove the Gland nut of the valve which are leaking & assess the condition of the gland. Remove the Gland & replace it with gland rope & assemble the valve again.
(b) Remove the valve from the Piping if the Leakage through the seat is observed. Dismantle the valve & check the valve seat. If the valve seat is suitable for lapping, lap the valve & assemble it back.
(c) If the valve is leaking & not possible to lap or damage is
(d) economically non-repairable, replace with new one.
(e) Re-install valves on boiler systems.
Servicing of Boiler Safety Devices/ Systems
(a) Check performance of boiler safety device one by one as per its application.
(b) Check the setting of each safety device w r t its design /operating parameters.
(c) Set the safety device one by one as per the design / operating parameters.
(d) Replace the safety device which is found not working. (No repair will be carried out on Safety equipment except Safety Valves).
(e) Undertake post-repair/ overhaul adjustment/turning of safety device/systems as required.
(f) Function test of Sequence Controller & Photo Cell.
Servicing of Boiler Control System
(a) Check performance of boiler control system. In both auto and manual modes of boiler operation.
(b) Undertake Overhaul of defective control system fittings if found necessary.
(c) Servicing Modulating motor and its mechanical linkages.
(d) Check the movement of air damper with Modulation Motor.
(e) Do the setting of air & fuel as per requirement.
(f) Check the performance of the modulation on boiler for its operation.
Fitment of Inner Jacket Cover (Top)
(a) Remove Burner Assembly from Boiler.
(b) Dismantle all accessories fitted on the top cover of box.
(c) Dismantle top cover.
(d) Apply shellac compound and fit the Inner jacket cover.
Refractory casting Bottom Plate
(a) Dismantling of burner assembly with its fuel & air piping.
(b) Dismantle all accessories fitted on the top cover of boiler of Steam line /water line etc.
(c) Dismantling of Top cover, coil and top plate.
(d) Repairing of existing Refractory.
(e) Cleaning the bottom surface of the coil.
(f) Casting of Refractory cement where ever required / Insulate as per the EBPL refractory casting procedure.
(g) Normal air drying of the refractory.
(g) Inspection of the Cured refractory.
(h) Mounting burner assembly & steam & water pipe lines & making boiler ready for firing.
(j) Firing the boiler in Low Flame intermittently to ensure slow curing/Moisture removal of the Refractory.
Cleaning Fuel Gas Outlet Duct
(a) Removal of lagging up to 2 meters.
(b) Dismantling of ducts from Outer Jacket.
(c) Cleaning of ducts by wire brush.
(d) Cleaning of ducts by diesel.
(e) Cleaning of ducts by compressed air.
(f) Replaced damaged fastener with new fastener.
(g)Replace new gasket.
(h) Fitting of the duct on to its position.
Replacement of only blower motor (without impeller balancing)
(a) Disassemble the fan with air duct, casting, suction damper & impeller.
(b) Disassemble the impeller from motor.
(c) Disconnect the motor from base plate.
(d) Replace new motor with old one.
(e) Assemble the motor on the base frame.
(f) Assemble the impeller to the motor.
