Designing and Construction ,testing and commissioning of Water Treatment plant 1.10 MLD :- The scope of work includes the construction of 1.10 WTP capacity water treatment plant capable to treat the raw water of the quality specified in the basic design data to produce clearwateras per the requirements of CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment and as specified in basic design data. The water treatment plant shall include the construction of inlet chamber,raw water tank, presettling tank,V-/Notch,mixing channel, alum solution/mixingtanks and dosing arrangement,hydraulic flocculator, settling tanks, rapid sand filters complete with back wash arrangement,clear water tank, plant building (for housing chemical store cum dosing room, water testting laboratory cum attendentroom(toilet), supply of laboratory requirement, piping,valves mechanical/ electrical equipment electricwiring & panel boards,sanitation, interconnecting paths, site development , c/o Retaining/breast walls upto a minimumof 3m from edge of battery limit of plant, retaining and breast walls and fencing.Thefirm shallsubmitthe detailed hydraulic and structural design and drawings( 6copies) for each component oftreatmentplant
which shall be approved by the department before the work is started. The design/drawingsof the mechnical/ electrical equipment & wiring etc. along with manufacturersspecificattion/design also be submitted for approval by the department.Onthe completion of all civil,mechnical and electrical works the contractor shall test run the plant for one week beforehanding over the same to the department at the cost of the contractor.However,electrical chareges shall be borne by the department. During this period the daily testing of raw water and treated water samples shall be done ( Complete record of the test results and the flow measurements shall be kept during this period.) If the performance of various units of thetreatment plant is as specified in CPHEEO manual, the plant shall be formally taken over by the department,otherwise the contractor shall make necessary change / repairs to improve theefficiency of the unit/plant.The contractor/ firm shall run and maintain the plant for three month afterhandingover the plant to the department. During this period the firm shall depute at leastt onetrainedperison to train the departmental persons in operating, maintaining the plant and regulartesting of the raw water and treated. Reserviors:- Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil. including PCC (1:3:6) in foundation and M:30 design mix in bottom slab/raft ,walls and beams. And RCC (1:1.5:3) in roof slab/dome with provision of inspection path around the dome with all alied Civil Works such as c/o chamber for valves, refilling and disposing of surplus excavated earth with in all leads and lifts. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside, CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers with frames of heavy duty with proper locking arrangement, water level indicator. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness, All works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves,shall be included in the rates of tanks .complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge .The contractor shall provide 6 sets of approved drawing and design to the department including cost of site development required as per site conditions. Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of Galvanized GMS flanged/butt welded pipes including cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO:1239 having wall thickness as specified below with plain end and capable of withstanding required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube.The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints and remaining 95% joints with butt welded joints as detailed below. The MS flanges shall confirm to BIS 6392-1971 (with latest up to date amendments) duly welded in four layers (two inner and two outer) with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards along with nuts and bolts of required sizes confirming to BIS 1364 (with upto date ammendments). 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets confirming to relevant BIS standards. The laying of pipe shall include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees, valves etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per IS:4736 -1986 (with upto date ammendments)
with mass of zink coating not less than 360 gm/m2. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814:2004 of AdvaniOerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. Negative tolerance in thickness and mass/weight will not be accepted. Welding and fixing of M.S. flanges @ 5% of joints, conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with up to date amendments) . The welding of flanges should conform to IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364, the thickness of gasket not less than 3.00 mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done as per entire satisfaction of Engineer- in- charge with in all leads and lifts. The rates also include entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. The diameter and class / material of pipe are indicative. Since the re-survey and re-design of proposal / scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings are to be approved by the competent authority of the department. If there is any variation in size, material, class & wall thickness of pipe and jointing, valves, specials etc, the rates shall be worked out on prorata basis and will be paid accordingly. The tolerance for the pipe shall confirm to relevant BIS code (With upto date amendments)

Pumping Machinery :- (refer Data Sheet 10 Volume II) Supply of star rated enrgy efficient Submersible pumping set of KSB/ Kirloskar/ sabar/ Johnston/ Crompton/ make as approved make by JSV (list attached) conforming to latest relevant BIS Code 8034:2002 (or Latest with upto date ammendmends). The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling Clear water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP & 2900/1450 rpm of reputed make conforming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips, depth gauge NRV & Sluice valves of approved class etc. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in – Charge. The HP are indicative.Since the recheck & verify and re-design of proposal/scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings so approved by the competent authority after finalisation of design and drawings,any variation in HP and other accessories etc.The rate shall be worked out on prorata basis after approval of the competent authority and payment will be made accordingly.The rates shall be for complete Job to run the machinery in proper working. and should meet with the requirements. PUMPING MACHINERY CENTRIFUGAL:- Supply ,Installation ,Testing & Commissioning of star rated enrgy efficient horizontal spindle, horizontal/ radial split casing/end suctions (back pull out arrangement)single/double/multistage centrifugal pump suitable for operation, in parallel of recommended make such as Mather and platt/KSB/Kirloskar/Jyoti /Beaconweir BS&BE of approved make by (JSV) HP list attached) confirming to BIS-1520-1980 with upto date ammendments, read with IS:9137-1978 or latest edition suitable for lifting clear water for under mentioned characteristics with with 2.5% Nickel impellers, dia of 405mm priming funnels, casing ring and shaft sleeves of shaft of SS:410/AIS 1431 Chrom in plated with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a Common MS base plate to squirrel cage screen protected drip proof induction motor/TEFC/CACA of standard make such as Kirloskar/BHEL/ Crompton/NGEF/GEC/Siemens/ Jyoti/Area Brown Boven/ABB/CGL and suitable for operation on 415 (+)(-)15% rolt, 50 cycles/second 3 phase AC electric supply. Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of Galvanized GMS flanged/butt welded pipes including cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO:1239 having wall thickness as specified below with plain end and capable of withstanding required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube.The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints and remaining 95% joints with butt welded joints as detailed below. The MS flanges shall confirm to BIS 6392-1971 (with latest up to date amendments) duly welded in four layers (two inner and two outer) with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards along with nuts and bolts of required sizes confirming to BIS 1364 (with upto date ammendments). 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets confirming to relevant BIS standards. The laying of pipe shall include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees, valves etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per IS:4736 -1986 (with upto date ammendments)
with mass of zink coating not less than 360 gm/m2. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814:2004 of AdvaniOerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. Negative tolerance in thickness and mass/weight will not be accepted. Welding and fixing of M.S. flanges @ 5% of joints, conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with up to date amendments) . The welding of flanges should conform to IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364, the thickness of gasket not less than 3.00 mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done as per entire satisfaction of Engineer- in- charge with in all leads and lifts. The rates also include entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. The diameter and class / material of pipe are indicative. Since the re-survey and re-design of proposal / scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings are to be approved by the competent authority of the department. If there is any variation in size, material, class & wall thickness of pipe and jointing, valves, specials etc, the rates shall be worked out on prorata basis and will be paid accordingly. The tolerance for the pipe shall confirm to relevant BIS code (With upto date amendments)

Pumping Machinery :- (refer Data Sheet 10 Volume II) Supply of star rated enrgy efficient Submersible pumping set of KSB/ Kirloskar/ sabar/ Johnston/ Crompton/ make as approved make by JSV (list attached) conforming to latest relevant BIS Code 8034:2002 (or Latest with upto date ammendmends). The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling Clear water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP & 2900/1450 rpm of reputed make conforming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips, depth gauge NRV & Sluice valves of approved class etc. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in – Charge.
