Earth work in excavation by mechanical/manual means in all types of strata comprising any of the materials such as soil, silt, sand, clay, gravels, moorum, of all verities shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, laterite rock, soft rock, disintegrated rock, fissured, shattered, decomposed rock or weathered rock and all such other materials either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as may be convenient or permitted inclusive of chiseling wedging etc but blasting prohibited in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged, foul conditions etc. including pumping or bailing out of water, including setting out construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom, and backfilling the excavated earth to the extent required and disposing of the remaining excavated soil/rock as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge for all lifts and lead upto 200 mt as specified and directed etc complete.

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Centering & shuttering including Strutting, Propping & removal of forms for : A) Foundations, Footings, Bases for columns

B) Vertical surfaces such as retaining walls, return walls, Partitions, walls (any thickness) including attached Pilasters, Buttresses, Plinth and string courses, Fillets and the like.

Providing & laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in: A) All works upto plinth level

B) In retaining walls , return walls(any thk) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets etc, upto floor five level.

Providing and fixing weepholes with rigid PVC make laid in position with a required slope and level while layingpipes of approved the concrete of retaining wall, wing wall and earth retaining structure complete as directed by the Engineer in charge. A) 110 mm dia

Providing construction joints with 20mm thick thermacol sheets including cutting and placing in position etc complete.

Providing and laying Laterite stone aggregate of Minimum 40x40x40cm to cover the weep holes on the Earth side of Retaining wall in order to act as filter media.

Refilling the pipeline/foundation trenches plinth sides, foundation etc. with available excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm depth consolidating each layer ramming and watering lead upto 50 M and all lifts and disposal of surplus earth as directed by Engineer in Charge.
