PART - I : CIVIL WORKS
Design, Fabrication, supply, installation & job commissioning of air tight steel structure, Pre-Engineered Building for Laboratory Building of approx. size 63 Metres X 24 Meters (with no internal columns), Eave’s height of 9.60 Metres above plinth level with mezzaine floor of 9.0 Metres width as shown in preliminary drawing as per standard design, drawing and specification with following details:-
a) Main frames shall be designed as per latest revision of IS Codes viz.IS:800, IS:801, IS:811, IS:2062, IS:875 etc. including relevent IS Codes, Main structural members shall be built up section from hot rolled plates conforming to ASTM-A-572, grade 50 or equivalent having minimum yield strength of 345 MPa and secondary members viz purlins, girts etc. shall be cold formed steel members and conform to ASTM-A653M grade 65 or equivalent having yield strength 345 MPa & other structural members, shall have minimum yield of 250 MPa and zinc coating Z-275 on all surface.
b) Roof shall consists of fully screwless standing seam sheets in order to provide monolithic roofing system along with liner panels at bottom including 50mm thick rock wool of density , not less than 96 kg/cum bonded to steel structure with industrial grade adhesive, total coated thickness (TCT) of standing seam sheets and liner panels shall not be less than 0.5mm Galvalume sheet (profiled/plain) and shall be approved SMP coated, colour and shade of sheets, minimum yield strength of standing seam sheets and liner panels shall not be less than 345 MPa & 550 MPa respectively.
c) Double skin wall sheeting panels (including gable ends) shall be as per approved manufacturer’s specification and shall be made out of 0.5mm TCT (profile / plain) pre coated Galvalume sheets having minimum yield strength of 550 MPa of desired colour and shade on both external and internal faces.
d) 50mm thick prefabricated rockwool panel fabricated out of rockwool having density not less than 96 kg/cum bonded to steel structure with industrial grade adhesive shall be used as insulation.
e) Scope of work also includes: (i) Analysis & design of PEB structures, preparing shop/site-use drawings including vetting of the same. (ii) Fabrication and erection of metal fascia, flashing etc. with precoated Galvalume sheet, gutter. (iii) Crane beam and brackets for 10 MT EOT crane (to be supplied by other agency). (iv) cantilever brackets, canopies, roof/ chajja projections, rain water gutters, down take pipes (Minimum 150mm Dia PVC pipe, number shall be as per design). Wall lights made with GRP or Polycarbonate sheets, louvers.(welded mesh of approved quality should be placed below wall light sheet)
(v) For Lightening protection, Lightening arrestor shall be provided considering that the lightening arrestor needs drilling etc. while fixing the flats and other accessories to the pre-fabricated structures. The fixing arrangement needs special attention, which may not be avaliable with ordinary electrical agencies.
(vi) Design of foundation bolts including supervision of grouting process. Providing & fixing base plate at foundation of columns as per design. (vii) Double layer mezzanine floor shall be erected in part of the building which consist of structural column beam joist system to support various loads (including Imposed load of 5KN/m2 minimum) on approximate area of 24m * 9m at 3.9m (above plinth level) and roof at 11.47 m from finished floor, built up structural sections shall conform to ASTM-A572,grade 50 or equivalent having minimum yield strength of 345 MPa.
Galvanised Deck sheet of minimum 0.8mm thick shall be used for floor mezzanine and shall include necessary partition walls made up of double skin precoated Galvalume sheets of desired colour and shade with 50mm thick prefabricated rock wool insulation bonded to steel structure with industrial grade adhesive including providing necessary doors, glazed bronze anodised aluminium window, suitable staircase. (viii) Painting the structural members with two coats of epoxy paint of approved colour and shade over a coat of approved primer etc. including providing and fixing 2mm thick aluminium composite panels with fixing arrangement etc to the main structural columns.
(ix) Including P&F skylight panel using 8 mm thick plain polycarbonate sheet of approved colour & shade for grids (3-4/A-B, 3-4/C-D, 5-6/A-B, 5-6/C-D, 7-8/A-B, 7-8/C-D, 9-10/A-B, 9-10/C-D; Total 8 Nos.)
(x) The exposed portion of M.S. Structural cloumn cladded with ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel) of approved quality along with aluminium frame works.
(xi) Providing false ceiling with neccesary suspending system at ground floor and above mwzzanine floor. The false ceiling shall be calcium silicate ceiling tiles (Cosmos)of M/s. Areolite with exposed standard grid system of 600 x 600 mm. The weight of the false ceiling tiles (Cosmos) shall approximately be 5.50kg/sqm. The material for vertical masking shall be same.
(xii) Design, fabrication, supply, installation and commissioning of steel structures, Pre-engineered fire escape staircase of approx. sixe 1.66m X 3.5m as per standard design, drawing and specification, main frames shall be designed as per latest revision of IS Codes viz.IS:800, IS:801, IS:811, IS:2062, IS:875 etc. Main structural members shall be built up section from hot rolled plates conforming to ASTM-A-572, grade 50 or equivalent having minimum yield strength of 345 MPa and secondary members viz purlins, girts etc. shall be cold formed steel members and conform to ASTM-A653M grade 65 or equivalent having yield strength 345 MPa & structural members, shall have minimum yield of 250 MPa and zinc coating Z-275 on all surface

(xiv) All above mentioned wok including loading, unloading, transportation, erection, tools, plants, scaffolding, labour, wastage and including of all taxes, GST etc., complete all as per approved drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. The stages of payment will be as per the schedule of payment attached herewith as Annexure-A.

Section- I: LT Panel
Design, manufacture,supply, installation,testing &commissioning of floor mounting front operated frontaccess extensible type cubicle panel totally enclosed withIP-42 protection with hinged and lockabale doors.Switchboards fabricated from 2 mm thick CRCA sheetsincluding interconnections, tinned copper strip /Wirecrimping lugs, bonding to earth suitable for use at 415 V, 3phase 4 wire 50 Hz system, and to withstand a fault level of 36kA for 1 sec or as specified, symmetrical at 415 Vcomplete as per specifications, as required & as below. Allswitchboards shall have provision for entry of cables fromthe top/bottom as required. All live accessible parts shallbe shrouded and all equipment shall be finger touch proof.The bus bars shall be insulated with heat shrinkablesleeves & color coaded . SMC/DMC shrouds and busbarsupports shall be used. The powder coating colour shade for LT Panels shall be as follows:-1. Panels fed from normal power supply - RAL 7032. Panels fed from DG supply will be colour coded as per instructions of EIC.

Point wiring in PVC (HMS variety) conduits : Point wiring for light/ceiing fan/6A/ 16A/ socket outlet/6A outlet for exhaust fan , bell point etc. with 1.1 KV grade FRLS PVC insulated multistranded copper conductor wire (ISI marked), in existing floor raceway/ 25 to 40 mm dia High mechanical stress (HMS) rigid PVC conduit having ISI marked IS 9537 Part - 3, including fixing accessories & hardware concealed /exposed in slab/wall or on 5mm.thick G.I. spacers fixed with no. 10 nettle fold wood screws with nylon plug complete with all conduit accessories 0.9mm G.I. NOTE: 1. Connections shall be done with crimped type tinned copper lugs & washers. 2. All switches & socket outlets shall be as per preferred makes. 3. All sample boxes with accessories /luminaires shall begot approved from Department. 4. All 16 A socket outlets should be with 6 pin type 5. MS boxes other than switch boxes & socket outlet boxes shall be fabricated out of minimum 1.5mm thick MS sheet duly painted with red oxide primer & 2 coats of epoxy paint. 6. Minimum size of the FRLS insulated copper earth continuity wire shall be 2.5 sq.mm. 7. The colour shade of switches shall be white /off white. For socket outlet points/switch boards on normal power supply, the cover plate shall be white/off white colour, graphite grey (RAL 7024) or other shade as per instruction of EIC, for socket outlet points/switch boards on DG power supply.
8. The scope also includes supply of modular blanking plates where ever required. 9. The maximum permissible number of FRLS insulated wires through PVC/MS conduits shall be as per technical specifications 10. The point wiring shall generally be concealed type only, except in lift shaft/ Elect. Shaft/ Basement areas/ in RCC retaining wall/ in dry well/ above false ceiling & wherever concealed wiring is not feasible, as per instructions of E.I.C

LAN System : Supply, instalaltion, testing & commissioning of local area network system comprising of passive components like CAT-6 UTP or improved data cable, information oulet with RJ-45 connections , enclsoures for data outlets with faceplates concealed, patch panels, cable managers, LIU, OFC,splicing, 19" mounting racks , power panels in racks ,cooling fans in racks, flexible G.I pipe, PVC conduit HMS variety conforming to IS 9537 Part-III etc., complete with labeling/identification on the cable , outlets, patch panels etc. complete in all respect as required as per standards,drawings, specifications and instructions of E-I-C. Note : 1. LAN work shall be done by a specialised agency in the field. Credentials of the agency through which the bidder proposes to execute the LAN work to be submitted post W.O. 2. Evaluation of the proposed agency to execute the LAN work shall be carried out seperately by the Department. 3. Active components i.e switches etc are not in the scope of the agency and shall be executed by the users seperately. Agency shall extend full co-operation to theagency / users executing the balance work which is not inthe scope of this tender. 4. Fire Alarm system (FAS) Design,supply,installation,testing & commissioning of analogue addressable type fire alarm system as per relevant Indian Standard specifications and conforming with relevant specifications of fire authorities of local Municipal Corporation, and as directed by E-I-C and consisting of the following: Note. 1) The work shall be carried out by licensed agency complying local State Fire safety statutes. 2)Scope includes submission of factory test report of detectors,break glass and hooters and main panel and final inspection at site. 3)Make of all the components of FAS shall be same. 4) The Panel shall be suitable for networking using open technologies such as TCP/IP, Rs 485, modbus.
Multisensor Detectors : Supply ,installation,testing & commissioning of Intelligent addressable smoke detector unit working on multisensor detection technology with optical , heat detector sensor with inbuilt fault isolator complete with base as required & as per instructions of EIC.

Fire Alarm Panel : Design,supply,installation,testing & commissioning of Analogue addressable microprocessor controlled Fire Alarm Control Panels, capable of being IP networked to the central monitoring System connecting through optical Fiber cable network to monitor and integrate above quantity of accessories like detectors, MCP's/loop power sounder/control modules, Fault Isolation Modules, Loop powered hooters, response indicators, fire/fault indicators,audio-visual signals, central processing units, complete with LED visual indicators, alpha-numeric display and audible alarm both for fire & fault, mains ON indication,test & reset provisions. Each loop should provided with minimum 125 detectors /devices. BOOSTER PUMP Design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Motor driven Centrifugal Horizontal split case / End suction Booster Pump Set with a flow capacity of 450 lpm and total head of 35 m, with CI casing, standard fittings, bronze impeller, along with all accessories, suitably rated squirrel cage, energy efficient (EF-1) induction motor as electrical drive with synchronous speed not exceeding 3000 rpm, Class-F insulation, IP-55, rated to operate at 415 v +/- 10%, 50 Hz +/- 3%, 3 phase, AC supply, including supply of MS common base plate frame and installing pump and motor on it alongwith foundation bolts, coupling guard, anti vibration pads and other accessories etc, complete as per specifications, drawings and instructions of E-I-C. PRESSURE GAUGES Providing & fixing pressure gauges with dial of 150 mm dia size and range 0 to 50 kg/sq.cm and complete in all respects with shut off gauge, cocks , all fittings etc, duly calibrated before installation in MKS and FPS units and fixing the same wherever required and duly tested after installation as directed by E-I-C.

VALVE CHAMBERS FOR FIREFIGHTING SYSTEM Construction of brick masonary valve chambers of the following sizes given below comprising of 230 mm thick brick masonry in cement mortar 1:4 over a bed of 150 mm thick cement concrete of grade M-15 for foundation with 150 mm offset all round including providing and fixing M.S. ladder fabricated out of 50 x 50 x 5 mm thickM.S. angle including painting etc. racking out joints & plastering in cement mortar 1:3, 20 mm thick both on internal and external surfaces, internal surfaces finished smooth with a floating coat of neat cement, providing 100 mm thick RCC slab casted in MS angle box frame (Galvanised) of 25 mm X 25 mm X 5 mm size in three equal places with reinforcement weighing not less than 100 kg/cu.m. fabricated MS angle all around & M.S. galvanised flat stiffners including formwork as per drawing etc. complete with lifting hooks at top, providing and fixing C.I. circular surface box weighing not less than 14 kg. over the RCC slab for key rod operation, Painting all as per specifications and directions of EIC including dewatering the pit, if required till completion of the work

DISMANTLING AND CONSTRUCTION /RELOCATION OF DOUBLE VALVE CHAMBER, VALVES AND ASSOCIATED PIPELINES
Dismantling, cutting, relocating, new civil constrction of double valave chamber, replacing after necessary welding, flange jointing as required, laying including construction of pedestals as required, earth excavation, refilling, compacting, etc. and any other work necessary as per site condition for removal, construction and relaying of 1 no. of Double Valve chamber including supply, installation of 2 pipes (1 for sprinkler line and 1 for fire hydrant line) of 200 mm NB size (or as per site) & valves as required on either side of the proposad Pre Engneering Building - 2 (PEB - 2) during execution of the civil works for construction of PEB -2 as per site condition and making the double valve chamber fully functional (For Anurib Building) after completion of the PEB - 2. All works associated with the job shall be included in the scope and nothing extra shall be payable on any account. Completed in all respects as per clause 1 of techanical specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Note: The Technical specification of existing chamber as given below and same shall be applied to be constructed new chamber - Construction of valave chamber of size 2 m x 2.5 m (approximate size) x 1.5 m (Height varying to suit site conditions) with 250 mm thick brick masonry and embadding 50 x 50 x 6 mm MS angle frame on the top and plastring the entire brick masonry work both inside and outside with 20 mm thick 1:4 mortar. The chamber shall be constructed over PCC raft of 150 mm thick. Necessary concrete work to accomodate 6 mm chequered plate (in two pieces) is included in this item.

M.V.Cables Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 1.1 KV grade PVC/XLPE insulated, inner sheath PVC tapped, extruded outer sheath PVC with rodent and termite repellent properties, GI strip / wire armoured, multistranded / aluminium conductor power cable confirming to IS : 1554 part I/IS 7098 part-1 with upto date amendments, fixed on wall/column/slab/false ceiling or in existing hume pipe/trench/ shaft/pit/ on 5mm thick M.S. flat /GI spacer/angle/ support fixed with coach screws/grouted in wall/anchor fasteners 2mm. thick G.I. Fabricated saddle, all fixing accessories, etc complete including painting of M.S spacers/angles and saddles or in ground at a - depth of 900 m below ground level including excavation, sand bedding, laying of baked bricks on side & top-, temporary reinstatement, back filling, dewatering, consolidation, disposal of excess earth within the radius of 500 mtrs etc providing brass cable number tag as per enclosed detailed specifications, drawings & as per instructions of the E-I-C & of the following sizes. The space between the two supports shall be 600mm. approx. The rodent and termite repellent property of MV cable shall be proved by either testing at factory or by submitting appropriate test certificates as per instructions of EIC. Note : The cost of sealing hume pipe shall be measured separately under relevant item.

PART - IV : HVAC WORKS NB.: The rates are inclusive of all accessaries / Consumables / extra refrigerant gas that are required to the system into service and no extra payment shall be made for the same.
Split Air-conditioner: Supply, installation, testing and commisioning (SITC) of ceiling suspended minimum 3 star rated Invertor Split AC of follwing nominal cooling capacities (Minimum) as per technical specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1.The outdoor unit shall be provided with 10 mm thick neoprene pads. 2.The price is inclusive of consumables, leak testing, refrigent gas that may be required to put the air conditioner into service and no extra payment shall be made for the same. 3.The cutout for regrigerant pipe cable and drain shall be included in scope and no extra payment shall be made for the same.
1.5 TR capacity Cassette Split AC
Refrigerant Piping with Nitrile Rubber insulation (Combined Suction line & Discharge line): Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Interconnecting refrigerant copper piping ( suction & discharge line) duly insulated with closed cell tubular elastomeric nitrile rubber of minimum density not less than 33kg/cum of thickness(13 mm for size upto 19.05 mm pipe and 19 mm for sizes above 19.05). All copper pipes shall be coated with transparent anti corrosive primer before insulation as per technical specifications, manufacturer's recommendations and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. The insulation shall be mechanically protected with a coat of polyshield of approved colour (starbond 30-36 or equivalent) of minimum 5 mil thickness.
Drain piping duly insulated: Supply, installation and commissioning of rigid / flexible HD PVC piping(size 9-12 mm) duly insulated with closed cell elastomeric rubber insulation as per technical specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Cabling: Supply & laying of 3C X 4 sqmm. copper power cabling along with control cabling and adequate earthing as per site situation with adequate size of copper conductor wire with saddles & spacers to connect outdoor units with respective indoor units and power cable to connect power outlet to ODU/ IDU complete with end connections as required all as per technical specification and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.
M.S. supports: Supply, fabrication & installation of M.S. stand for the ODU (outdoor unit) of AC unit as required fabricated out of M.S. flat of size (50 mm x 8 mm) and M.S. angle of size (50 mm x 50 mm x 8 mm) and safety guard of M.S. flat of size (12 mm x 12 mm) with suitablle opening for maintenance purpose of ODU unit, painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer of approved make & shade to all M.S. parts at all levels & elevations as required and as per technical specification and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.

PART - V : CRANE WORKS
EOT Crane for High Bay zone
Design, manufacture, loading, unloading, transporting, supply, erection, installation, testing & commissioning of double girder 10/3 ton EOT crane with span of 21.5 m (approx.), lift of 6.5 m (approx.) with shrouded type DSL system complete in all respects including all the items and accessories, power and control cabling, earthing from department's TPN SFU onwards. The dimensions stipulated are indicative and must be verified by the bidder at site before taking up the manufacturing and fabrication of the crane. The crane shall be in compliance with IS : 3177, IS : 807 & IS : 800 for siesmic qualifications as per technical specification. Nothing extra shall be payable on any account. The layout and general arrangement of the crane shall be as per site constraints and as shown in the drawing No. DCSE/EM-DS/VECC/PEBMH/EOT-CRANE/01/1212 R-0 dt. 22/06/2012 (10 Ton EOT crane Layout) with the technical parameters enumerated therein and confirming to the tender specification.
