Earth work in hill road (hill side cutting/filling):- Excavation in hilly area for construction of road in all types of soils & rocks with E&B and BLB as met at site true to lines as per plan, X section, L section camber, super elevation as required also including uprooting & cutting of bushes dressing of road surface to the required level and slopes with all lead, lifts and safe disposal of surplus excavated material at suitable dumping places by mechanical means/ manual means indicated in the drawing with out damaging forest and forest land including slip clearance during hill side cutting as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing of C.C. edge stone 12 cm X 12 cmX 60 cm Size in M-20 Cement Concrete With 4 nos. 8mm dia HYSD vertcal bars and 3 nos. 6mm dia MS bar Strrups as per approved Drawing including 2 coat White washing on valley side of formation as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and MORD specfication for Rural Roads 2014.

Random Rubble dry stone masonary in Coolie walling for edge/ filling protection / retain debrics in valley side including supply of all material labour T&P. etc as per drawing required for proper completion of work as directed by Engineer in charge.

Cement plum masonry with 40% plum & 60% 1:3:7 cement concrete including supply of all material, labour, T&P, Roylty etc. required for proper completion of the work as per direction of Engineer in Charge. (As per PWD Uttarakhand specifications)

For parapets.

White washing two coats on parapet walls and tree trunks including preparation of surface by cleaning scraping etc. as per technical specifications Clause 1916 of MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014.

DRAINAGE WORK

SIDE DRAIN

Construction of Hill side Pucca KC drain in accordance with the requirement of specification true to line and grades. Dimensions and other particulars as per drawing including all material labour T&P. etc. required for proper completion of the work as directed by Engineer in charge.

The maintenance of drain includes erosion, repair, clearing, cleaning, reshaping, regrading, deepning of side drain as well as catch water drainas per technical specification clause 1907.

WBM Grading 2 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification in cluding spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, crushable screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.

2nd - Layer

BASE COURSE-NON BITUMINOUS

Providing,laying , sperading and compactiong stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam Grading - III specification ( 53mm to 22.4mm @ 0.91cum per 10 sqm for compacted thickness of 75mm ) including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with a three wheel 80-100 KN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening materials ( 11.2 mm stone grit for Grading - III @ 0.18 cum per 10 sqm ) to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per MORD Specification

BASE/WEARING COURSR BITUMINOUS

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion ( SS-I) on prepared surface of water bond macadam base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70- 1.0 Kg/Sqm using machanical means as per MORD Specification.

Providing and applying Tack coat with bitumenous emulsion ( RS-I) using emulsion distributor @ 0.25 to 0.30 Kg per Sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with hydraulic broom as per MORD Specification.

Providing, Laying and rolling of open - graded premix carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates using bitumen 80-100 ( S-90 ) to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 KN static roller capecity, finished to riquired level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B or Type C as per per MORD Specification.

Provinding and laying seal coat for sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specification levels, grade and cross fall using Type "A" ( with Crushed stone chipping, 6.7 mm size 100% passing 11.2 mm sieves and retained on 2.36 mm sieve applied @ 0.09 cum per 10 Sqm ) as per MORD Specification.

ROAD FURNITURE

Providing and Fixing 'Logo' of PMGSY Project Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5m size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade kilometer stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc as per drawing , directed by Engineer-in-charge and MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014. (precast).

Providing & fixing of PMGSY Logo Board at end point and at every 2 Km distance of road length as per standard drawing duly painted and written and as directed by Engineer in charge/ as per MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014.

Providing fixing of Title Information Board with PMGSY Logo at suitable place in the starting of the road as per standard drawing duly painted and written as directed by Engineer in charge/ as per MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014.

Providing & fixing of Citizen Information Board with PMGSY Logo at starting or prominent location (where maximum no. of citizens can view the detail of the road) as per standard drawing dully painted and written as directed by Engineer in charge/ as per MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014.

Providing & fixing of Maintenance Information Board with PMGSY Logo at starting or prominent location (where maximum no. of citizens can view the detail of the road) as per standard drawing dully painted and written as directed by Engineer in charge/ as per IRC/ MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014.

Providing & fixing of Semi reflective Trafic Sign Boards as per standard drawing duly painted and written as per direction of engineer-in-charge in the starting and end of the road.

Direction and place indentification sign board up to 0.9 sqm size board. Providing and erecting direction and place identifications of semi reflective sign boards as per IRC:67 made of 2 mm thick M.S. Sheet duly stove enameled paint in white colour in front and grey colour on back with red reflective border of 70 mm width and required message, letters, figures with reflective engineering grade tape as per MORD specifications of required shade and colour. Supported and welded on 47 mm x 47mm of 12 SWG Square tube of 3050 mm height duly strengthened by 25 mm x 5 mm M/s flat iron on edges on back firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing and as directed by Engineer in charge/ as per Clause 1701of MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014. .

X, Slope Stability, Soil Erosion & Top Soil Conservation

SEEDING AND MULCHING- Preparation of seed bed on previously laid top soil, furnishing and piacing of seeds, fertilizer. Mulching material, applying bituminous emulsion at the rate of 0.231 per sqm and laying and fixing jute netting, including watering for 3 months all as per clause 310 & S.No 8.11 MORD Specification 1600 & 300.
