Preparing old surfaces of road by scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces, exc 50mm and n exc 100mm deep and in area not exc 400 Sqm incl removing n exc 50 m and staking out complete all as specified and directed

M & L for 100 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) with Granite, trap or Basalt spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with 8 to 10 tonne power roller all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge

M&L for repair to potholes any depth not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming including supply of road metal complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of un-surfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (using paving bitumen grade VG-30) at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove loose, dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and applying 2.0 mm thick road marking strips (retro reflective) with glass beads of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi automatic thermoplastic material applicator machine filled with profile shoe, glass beads dispensers, propane tank heater etc driven by experienced on road surface including all M&L cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals oil grease, mud,grass etc complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work.
