REPAIR AND MAINT OF DG SETS INCLUDING REPLACMENT OF UNSERVICEABLE SPARES AND CERTAIN OTHER WORKS AT CHARDUAR UNDER GE (N) TEZPUR

Note 1: (Applicable for all parts/items) : The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender document, all drawings & all corrigendum/amendments and general condition of contracts before entry/quoting the rates. Note 2:- Attention to bidder is hereby invited to upload revised BOQ if published during their bid submission. Uploading of incorrect/ pre-revised BOQ shall be treated as non bonafide and rejected. Fixed credit has been given in technical documents which shall be taken into account during acceptance of bid/tender.

Decanting of used lub oil from chamber/sump of the DG set of capacity 30 to 40 KVA and cleaning of chamber thoroughly to remove all types of deposites and supply & filling of new lub oil SAE 20 W/40 W at required level including replacement of all types of filters such as fuel filter, screen filter, oil filter etc. all as specified and directed.

(i) Spares and engine oil shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

(ii) Periodicity/location of the DG set shall be intimated by Engr-in-Charge as and when required.

(iii) Work shall be carried out at scattered locations at different sector.

All as item No-1 hereinbefore but DG set of capacity 50 to 62.5 KVA.

M&L for taking out FIP from DG set and calibration of fuel injection pump as per standard calibration procedure for 30 to 62.5 KVA DG set including pressure cleaning og fuel nozzals,replacement of minor spares, gaskets etc and refixing the same at its original position including transportation to and fro and testing at site on full load all as specified and directed.

labour for strip opening and taking out of cylinder head of 30 to 62.5KVA DG Set at site including dismantling of inlet/exhaust valves,pistons,head gasket, bearings of any description hose pipes fan belt etc all as required and setting/tunning up of DG set and replacement of faulty parts, gaskets etc, including turning/tappering of any parts at lath machine, re-assembling and testing complete all as specified and directed.Note: Spares shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply & fix in replacement of the following worn out parts of existing size for DG sets of capacity 30 to 62.5 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairing and calibration of injectors complete including renewal of worn out parts such as Plunzer, 'O' ring and testing it on plunzer testing machine and refixing it on its original position for capacity 40 to 62.5 KVA all as specified and directed.

M&L for taking out unsv Turbo Charger from DG set and repair/overhauling/setting of Turbo Charger including replacement of charger kit for DG set of capacity 40 to 62.5 KVA and refixing the same with DG set and testing of DG set for smooth functioning complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rewinding of alternator with existing class copper super enamelled wire of existing gauge including servicing and overhauling, varnishing,drying and fixing insulating sleevs etc including transportation from site to workshop and back from workshop to site and refixing the same to its original position and testing at site on full load all as specified for DG set 40 to 62.5 KVA and as directed.

M&L for rewinding of commutator/armature including servicing and overhauling, varnishing in field coil etc including transportation from site to workshop and back from workshop to site and refixing the same to its original position and testing at site all as specified for DG set 40 to 50 KVA and as directed.

M&L for strip opening and rewinding of dynamo assy with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge and insulation including insulating material and replacement of unsv parts such as carbon bush set,bush holder etc and refixing the same to its original position and testing on full load including taking out/dismantling of Dynamo assy from the DG set transporting it to workshop and back to site.

Note:- Cost of any other essential spares required for repair shall be deemed included in unit rate quoted and no extra cost shall be paid for the same.

M&L for taking out/dismantling of water pump after disconnecting of radiator assy for complete repair and servicing of water pump replacement of kit,bearing etc for 40 to 62.5 KVA DG set including transportation from site to workshop and workshop to site and refixing the same to its original position including testing on completion.

Dismantling / taking down the governor assembly including all connected parts from DG set 30 KVA to 62.5 KVA and over hauling, calibration of fuel supply system,governor etc complete including renewal of wornout parts such as copper gasket, injector nozzle to maintain the desired fuel supply and provide fluctuation free output complete all as specified and directed.

Draining out old used water with coolent from the radiator of Gen Set of capacity 30 KVA to 62.5 KVA capacity after disconnecting the water pipe, de-scaling, cleaning properly with high pressure wash to remove greasy substances from water tubes, tank and outer fins and re-fixing the same after servicing complete and renewal of coolant solution complete all as directed by EIC.(Coolant shall be measured separately under appropriate items).

Supply, fixing, connecting, testing maintenance free battery, 12 volts, 180 Ah with lead acid terminals including initial charging of battery complete all as specified. (Make EXIDE / AMRON) including disconnection existing unserviceable battery.

Supply, fixing, connecting, testing maintenance free battery, 12 volts, 150 Ah with lead acid terminals including initial charging of battery complete all as specified. (Make EXIDE / AMRON) including disconnection existing unserviceable battery.

Dismantling and taking out unserviceable onload change over switch flush mounting type and supply & fixing new onload change over, 4 pole with front handle operated flush mounting of rating 100 Amps including making all electrical connections of incoming/outgong cables of any description/size with suitable size of lugs/thimbles,nuts,bolts & washers complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in replacement dynamo 12V suitable for DG sets of capacity 30 to 62.5 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & replacement of rubber coupling of DG sets of capacity 40KVA complete including nuts,bolts and other connected items all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in replacement carbon bush holder suitable for DG sets of capacity 30 to 62.5 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in replacement carbon bush suitable for DG sets of capacity 30 to 62.5 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of surface by scrapping existing painted surface and spray painting of canopy, alternator/diesel engine body, radiator base frame etc and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour and one coat of heat resistant paint of approved quality to engine and exhaust pipe including writing SM/MES No of DG set capacity 30 to 62.5 KVA all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick, buried directly in to ground (earth pit) not less than 2.25 meters deep below GL with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50 m below ground level, connected to GI strip of size 24x3mm. (7.50 m long) by means of nuts, bolts and washers, check nuts of GI and protected by the GI pipe light grade 1.5 mm nominal bore (7.50 m Long) for earth plead wire, watering pipe light grade of 20 mm nominal bore, 0.63 mm thick CI funnel, wire mesh etc complete including necessary earth work and excavation in any type of soil, PCC 1:2:4 type B1 earth pit and Precast RCC cover 50 mm thick dully reinforced with 6 mm dia, MS round bars @ 100 mm C/C both ways, earth testing point, making good to floor complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing, in replacement, of auxillary contact MXO 22E (2NO+2NC) suitable for power factor control panel of 12 steps with and including taking out old unsv and making all connection, testing for smooth functioning complete all as directed. Make L&T or equivallent.

Supply and fixing, in replacement, of Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) suitable for DG Set of 30 KVA to 62.5 KVA capacity of any make, with and including taking out old AVR and making all connection, testing for smooth functioning complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing synthetic insulating mat of size 2mx1mx25mm suitable for working pressure 3.3 KV complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rewinding of excitor coil with existing size of super enamelled copper wire including necessary insulating material such as ampere tube tape,resin tape,applying F class varnishing and heating,drying up for better insulating resistance and testing after completion including commissioning complete all as specified and directed.

M&L renewal of burnt battery lead heavy duty with & including 2.0 metre long copper conductor wire suitable for 30 KVA to 62.5 KVA DG set consisiting with suitable size of lugs and heavy duty terminal complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for renewal of battery terminal heavy duty made out of brass suitable for 12 V lead acid battery.

Engine oil 20 W 40 suitable for DG sets of any capacity.

Coolant for radiator of DG sets of any capacity.

M&L for fan belt of any size suitable for DG sets of any capacity.

Supplying, laying or fixing, jointing and testing LT under ground electric power cable Crossed linked polyethylene (XLPE Cable) insulated, two or more core galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, ISI-7098 Mark, with aluminium conductor mutli stranded, heavy duty 1100 Volts grade og following sizes, complete all as specified laid in trenches / laid under floor or fixed naked with walls/ on poles/ in ducts / in GI pipes etc. complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, protection bricks/ tiles / block, Clamps, nuts, Bolts, washres and pipe shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items).

Disconnecting all electrical connectios of incoming/outgoing cables,dismantling/taking out old/deteriorated feeder pilar box and supply, installing, testing and commissioning factory made and tested LT feeder pillar box of suitable size,cubical, outdoor type, plateform mounted, suitable for 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ AC supply system having bus bar chamber with insulated aluminium bus bars of rating 400 amps rating installed on porcelain insulator. The panel shall be dust and vermin proof.of suiatble protection class and made of 3.15 mm CRCA MS sheet and mounted on MS angle iron frame, powder coated finish painted with two coats of super enamelled paint over one coat of red oxide primer from both inside/outside, front and rear both side opening type, with apron for cable entry having suitable locking arrangement including internal wiring with PVC insulated copper conductor cable, IS-694 marked, 1100 volts grade of appropriate size grouted in PCC 1:3:6 type C2 at suitable working height from ground level and comprising of the following:-

M& L for taking out fuel from fuel tank and keep in container for re-filling after cleaning. Cleaning of fuel tank of DG set of capaicty 30 KVA to 62.5 KVA , by removing of sludge and sediments deposited inside the diesel tanks by repeatedly washing with detergent washing powder and air compressor including testing for proper working complete, all as specified and directed.

Note for Ser No 1 to 9 : Cost of Scaffolding required for working at any height of OHT including materials and other neccesary safety measures are deemed to be included in quoted rates.
