M&L for Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and average 15 cm deep and getting out in hard dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard dense complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material exc. 250m but not exc 500m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting incl watering as necessary, filling in the depressions which occur during the process, with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for soling (or sub base) 150 mm Spread thickness with broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, in two layer (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less each) rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed. Note for item No. 08 & 11 :(i) Aggregates for Bituminous works shall confirm to clause No 20.B.2.5 of SSR 2009 Part- I (ii) Based on job mix formula, in case the binder content (i.e. Bitumen) is less than the content specified under these items then a minus adjustment @ Rs 45/- per kg of bitumen (less consumption) shall be applied on the quoted rate of contractor against these items, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. However, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula. (iii) Design Mix for bituminous macadam shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sq metre VG-10 (Paving bitumen) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sq metre VG-10 (Paving bitumen) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen (VG-30 Grade) by weight of total mix as in semidence asphalic concrete rolled and compacted to reqd camber complete all as specified and directed

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashler facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class `B’ bricks, straight on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brickwork with sub-class ‘B’ bricks in brick-on-edge walls (less than ½ brick thick), built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed

S&F cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

S&F metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for 100mm thick Plain Cement concrete type E-2, 1:5:10 (using 40mm graded aggregate) as in sub base of floors complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for PVC (SRW) pipe single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints laid in trenches or in floor 110 mm bore. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying road marking (thermoplastic) Painting lines, dashes, arrows etc on roads surface as per IRC pattern with thermo plastic paint of approved quality laid at 1600 c with special applicator machine complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using (40 mm graded stone aggregates) as surface channels and drains complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded agregate as in copings complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for RCC hume pipe culverts 300mm dia reinforced NP2 pipe laid and jointed with collars complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 as in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and completely surrounding pipes with concrete of bore 300mm on after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for RCC hume pipe culverts 450 mm dia reinforced NP2 pipe laid and jointed with collars complete all as specified and directed.
