Road work: Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 of MORD specification for rural road to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. The recovery @ Rs. 300.00 per cubic metre for 1979.28 cubic metre useful stones shall be made from the contractor on pro-rata basis in each running bill

Earth work in excavation for structures other than bridge in all depths as per drawing and technical specification clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Providing and laying mechnically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain / reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and HPPWD specification technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 & 1203. Plain cement concrete nominal mix 1:5:10 (one cement : five sand : ten graded/crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) including cost of form work and curing complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentials as per direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Back filling with granular material behind abutments, wing wall and return wall complete as per Drawing and technical specifications clause 1206.3.0 complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentials.

Providing weep hole in brick masonry/ stone masonry / plain reinforced concrete abutment , wing wall, return wall with 100mm dia. PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1V:20H towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 614,709,1206.6 including carriage of material and other incidentials.

Providing and laying mechnically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203. Plain cement concrete Grade M-10 including cost of form work and curing complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentials.

Providing and laying mechnically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and HPPWD specification/MORD technical specifications clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203. Plain cement concrete nominal mix 1:6:12 (one cement : six sand : twelve graded/crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) including cost of form work and curing complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentials as per direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and laying flooring laid over cement concrete bedding complete as per drawing and technical specification. clause 1303 Rubble stone laid in cement mortar 1:5 (one cement : five sand) complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentials.

Providing and laying 900mm (nine hundred millimetre) diametre reinforced cement concrete pipe NP3 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (one cement : two sand) but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets clause 1101.0 complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentials as per direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and laying filter media with granular crushed aggregates as per specification to a thickness of not less than 600 mm (Six hundred millimetre) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and providing over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall, return wall to the full height, compacted to firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1206.3 complete within all leads, lifts, carriage of material and other incidentials as per direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with Tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification clause 401 for Grading-1 (one) material complete within all leads, lifts, carriage of material and other incidentials charges.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates by manual means of 63 mm (sixty three millimetre ) to 45 mm (forty five millimetre) sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty-hundred kilo newton) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming, stone screening/ binding materials to fillup the interstics of course aggregate watering and compacting to the required density Grading-2 (two) as per technical specification clause 405 complete within all leads, lifts, carriage of material and other incidentials charges as per direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates by manual means of 53 mm (fifty three millimetre ) to 22.4 mm (twenty two point four millimetre) sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty-hundred kilo newton) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming, stone screening/ binding materials to fillup the interstics of course aggregate watering and compacting to the required density Grading-3 (three) as per technical specification clause 405 complete within all leads, lifts, carriage of material and other incidentials charges as per direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-I) at the rate of 0.25 -0.30 kg (zero point two five - zero point three zero kilogram) per square metre on granular surface treated with primer coat cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503 including hauling of material with in all leads and lifts by all modes of transportation as per direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and applying priming coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) at the rate of 0.70 -1.00 kg (zero point seven zero - one point zero kilogram) per square metre on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface with mechnical broom as per technical specification clause 502 including hauling of material with in all leads and lifts by all modes of transportation as per direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Providing, laying and rolling by mechnical means bitumen (VG-10) of open graded premix carpet of 20mm (twenty millimetre) thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6mm (thirteen point two millimetre to five point six millimetre) aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen at the rate of 1.46 (one point four six ) kilograme per square metre to required line, grade and level to surve as wearing couase on a previously prepared base, including mixing in suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty-hundred kilo newton) static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type-B as per technical sepcification Clause 506 including all corrective measures such as patching pot holes, sealing of cracks including all profile correction for all depths and hauling of material with in all leads and lifts by all modes of transportation as per direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and laying seal coat Type-B by mechanical means sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the sepcified levels, grade and crossfall using Bitumen (VG-10) at the rate of 0.68 (zero point six eight) kilograme per square metre as per technical specificaiton Clause 508 including hauling of material with in all leads and lifts by all modes of transportation as per direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated mix 1:6:12 (one cement : six sand: twelve graded stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimeter) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and HPPWD specification/MORD technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of V-Shape Drain with cement concrete 1:3:6 (one cement : three sand : six graded stone aggregate 20mm (twenty millimeter) nominal size) with thickness of concrete as 10cm (ten centimeter) and size of drain 45X25cm (forty five into twenty five centimeter) and curing complete including cost of form work and excavation work consisting as per standard drawing and HP.PWD. specification clause 1608.1 as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge complete in all respect including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.
