DESCRIPTION OF ITEM

Rates of only ISI marked conduits, cables, switches and socket outlets were taken in the following items. Unless and otherwise specified, only such conduits, cables, switches and socket outlets shall be used in the work.

11 kV DOUBLE POLE STRUCTURE

Supply and installation of 11kV 2-Pole Structure with Girder - pole length 9.0m in size of ISMB 175mm x 85mm -02nos, cross MS channels with length 2.25m in size of ISMC 75mm - 04 Nos, cross MS angle with length 2.25m in size of ISA 50x50x5 - 04 Nos, clamps 50x5 strip -20 m, nut & bolts complete with moulded fittings & accessories, two stays to H-pole, suitable for taking HT cable as outgoing. All structure painted with one coat of metal primer after fabrication and two or more coat of aluminum paint after erection, consists of the following. 11kV AB Switch-1 set 11kV lightning arrester-1 set 11kV Drop out fuse-1set 11kV Pin, Disk insulators, copper conductors Earthing (Pipe or rod electrode)-2 sets. Including loading & unloading by crane or heavy labour and shall meet all KSEB standards and requirements.

INSTALLATION OF TRANSFORMER

Un loading, leading, fixing the transformer on foundation, testing and commissioning of 11kV/433V, 630kVA, 3 phase AN cooled, vector DYN-11 cast resin dry type transformer with tappings from +5% to -15% in steps of 1.25 %, changeable by CTR make OLTC with RTCC and AVR, provided, with WTI. Transformer should have cable end box on HV side suitable for connecting 3Cx150 sq.mm 11kV XLPE Al cable and end box on LV side suitable for connecting 4Rx3.5Cx400 sqmm 1.1kV XLPE Al cable, with all fittings and accessories, complete with all other standard fittings and accessories conforming to IS:2026/77, 11171/85. (Supply of Transformer not in your scope)

Charges for insulating silencer with mineral /glass wool and Aluminium cladding for Generators of following capacities and shall meet noise emission standards of CPCB.

EARTHING

Supply and providing Plate Earthing as per IS 3043 with 1200x1200x12 mm GI/CI earth plate, 50 mm GI watering pipe fixed to the earth plate with 25 x 3mm GI clamps, GI funnel with weld mesh, filling required quantity of charcoal including construction of inspection chamber with a bed concrete of 1:4:8 PCC using 40 mm broken stone (10 cm thick), brick work in cement mortar 1:6, plastering the surface of brick masonry and the exposed surface of PCC bed with cement mortar 1:4, 12 mm thick, (the finished inside dimension shall be 450 x 450 x 450 mm) but excluding test joint, earth continuity conductor to the plate, and covering at the top. (in medium soil).

Supply and providing maintenance free earthing system comprises of molecularly bonded copper of 99.9% purity on low carbon steel of 3m length, having a diameter of 20mm with copper coating thickness of 250 microns with self-coupling peg & bore arrangement with fault current withstand capability of 30 KA rms value for 1 second and I peak of 76 kA. Universal Clamp made of SS 304 for clamping. Impact point on the bottom rod for easy insertion. Earth enhancing mineral compound shall be used for improving the soil conductivity. The material shall be mineral inert to sub soil and shall not pollute the environment and non corrosive to earth rod. The material should have a resistivity less than 0.2 Ωm. It should be free from hazardous substances The mineral compound is required to have minimum 20 kg of the total composite. Polypropylene & Polyethylene (UFE). Earth electrode inspection chamber with heavy duty cover should be used to cover the Earth Rod. The dimension shall be 300mmx 300mmx 190mm with a weight bearing capacity of 50KN.

CABLE TRAYS

Supply and erection of all type of cable trays and cable supports fabricated out of MS angles (ISA) and MS flats with sufficient width and spacing between successive cross members and all manner of supports/ suspenders, anchor bolts etc at adequate spacing. The cable trays and supports shall be painted with two coats of Zinc Chromate primer and two coats of enamel paint, making good the damages, colour washing etc as required. The design of cable trays and details shall be approved by the architect/consultant.

Supply and installation of dry chemical powder type 4 kg ABC Stored Pressure Fire Extinguisher (MAP 90%) complete with initial charges, discharge hose, wall mounting brackets etc. and with ISI mark.

Supply and providing 9 Litre capacity GI Fire Bucket painted in post office red with primer coat of red oxide and written with white paint 'FIRE' mounted on MS angle frame work/ wall bracket filled with fine sand, painting the bracket/ floor stand including making good the damages, colour washing etc. as required.
