100.50.1.1:Rectification of leakages of 32mm, 40mm & 50mm G.I. Pipes by replacing lengths up to 1.0m including earthwork excavation in all kinds of soil for exposing leak portion of the pipe including tar / concrete cutting, by cutting, removing and stacking the damaged portion from the existing line without causing any damages to the remaining portion and specials and conveying and replacing with G.I. Pipes of suitable size and jointing by thraded coupler and union of suitable size including threading, alignment, laying and jointing to make a water tight joint, testing the line to the required pressure, rectifying any defects noticed and refilling the trenches using excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20cm depth including consolidating each layers by ramming, watering, removing the surplus soil from the work site, without causing any damages to any other utilities, including the charges hire and conveyance of tools, plant and materials to the leak site, bailing out water, lighting, watching, ribbon fencing, caution boards, traffic diversion, including the cost of specials but excluding cost of pipe and as per the direction of departmental officers etc., complete.
100.50.3.2:Rectification of leakages of 65mm G.I. Pipes in exposed portions by replacing lengths up to 1.0m by cutting, removing and stacking the damaged portion from the existing line without causing any damages to the remaining portion and specials and conveying and replacing with G.I. Pipes of suitable size and jointing by three run welding to make a water tight joint, painting the welded portion, testing the line to the required pressure, rectifying any defects noticed, without causing any damages to any other utilities, including the charges hire and conveyance of tools, plant and materials to the leak site, bailing out water, lighting, watching, ribbon fencing, caution boards, traffic diversion, necessary scaffolding including the cost of specials but excluding cost of pipe and as per the direction of departmental officers etc., complete.

Other Maintenance works
100.9.1:Laying uPVC pipes of class 2 to class 6 and specials, lowering to the trenches already made, placing in position aligning the pipeline to the lines and levels and jointing the pipes and specials with solvent cement and testing the pipeline with water to the required test pressure (excluding cost of pipes and specials): 20 mm nominal outside diameter pipes.
15.2.2:Demolishing cement concrete manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in-Charge.Nominal concrete 1:4:8 leaner mix ( including equivalent design mix)
100.1.2:Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc., including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3m, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc., and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50m, in all kinds of soil.
100.59.1:Cutting the bituminous / concrete roads with cutting machine for a minimum depth of 200mm along the sides of proposed alignment of the pipe to be laid without causing any damage to other utilities, including the charges for hire and conveyance of tools and plant, cost of consumables and charges for lighting, watching, ribbon fencing, caution boards, traffic diversion, and as per the direction of departmental officers etc. complete, before carrying out the demolition of bituminous / concrete road by mechanical means and carrying out the excavation.
100.59.2:Refilling the trenches with a wet mix of close graded granular materials (Stone aggregate - 25mm nominal size - 17.5%, Stone aggregate - 10mm nominal size - 17.5%, Crushed Stone - 2.36mm to 12.5mm - 25%, Stone chippings / screenings - 4.75mm nominal size - 20%, Stone chippings / screenings - 150 micron nominal size - 20%), mixing properly after adding sufficient quantity of water, refilling in layers not exceeding 150mm, compacting properly at Optimum Moisture Content with Surface Plate Vibrator and disposing the excavated material etc. complete, including traffic control, providing caution boards and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge for road restoration works in pipeline leak sites.
100.59.3:Restoring the road surfaces by providing and laying factory made cold bitumen-aggregate pot-hole repair mix in two layers of 25mm thick (total 50mm thick), by cleaning the surface with brooms etc. to remove dust/debris/water etc, placing the premix, compacting properly with hand-rammer etc. complete, including traffic control, providing caution boards and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge for road restoration works in pipeline leak sites.
100.53.1.a:Washing OHSR/GLSR using brooms, brushes and bleaching powder by engaging coolies, scrubbing twice, washing and cleaning using fresh water, including side wall, floor slab and columns, disposing the the slurry / waste materials away from the immediate premises and within the initial lead of 50m from the periphery of the tank, without causing any damage to the existing structure and installations, charges including the operation of valves, conveyance and hire charges of tools and as per the direction of the department officers etc. complete.
