Cutting the rusted portion of pipes including gas welding of pipes assembling the complete exhaust assembly including replacement of gasket, metallic flexible pipe, nut bolts, and testing for making it leak proof and fixing the same in position and testing the system, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair/Attending break down of DG set to make completely functional in all respect to with out repalcing spare parts, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The rate quoted shall deemed to be included for any type of breakdown.

Note: The work under subject BoQ (item No. 1 to 59) is meant for maint and repair of DG Set in AF Stn Halwara under GE (AF) Halwara. The work shall be executed on ground on required basis but being remote station and extreme wheather condition contractor must stand by all the material and Engineer to rectify the breakdown of DG Set. Contractor shall deploy sufficient resources to keep smooth working of DG Set in the AF station. In addition any breakdown shall be communicated to contractor or his representative by concerned Engineer-in-charge/JE E/M through phone call, text message, complaint slip and or in writing through site order book or through other means. Non complying of attending breakdown by contractor within 48 hours after notify the complaint, recovery @ Rs 1000/- per day shall be recovered from contractor's payment for each breakdown so notified.

M&L for checking of earth values of each earth pit on monthly basis/on periodcity / on demand / on any anomaly observed of any type of earth pit by deploying skilled and trained personnel with calibrated testing equipments and T&P required for the same and recording the actual earthing test results achieved at site, watering with adequate quantity of water to earth pits from nearest available water point to achieve better results, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Quartely / half yearly / yearly calibration report of the testing equipment shall be submitted by the contractor. Adequate teams should be provided by contractor to carryout the jobs to complete with in desired periodicity.

M&L for replacement of GI earth strip of any size worn out / unserviceable stud insulators and refixing with screws/nuts, bolts and washers, welding/brazing of joints/broken points including replacement of shaddles, making good distorted GI strips by hammering/welding as per site requirement & refixing the same after repair also insulating with HDPE pipe of suitable dia /size, complete all as specified and directed. Note : HDPE Pipe and PVC insulators will be measured and paid seperately under relevant item. The contractor must employ manpower for the said work with in 48 Hrs post receipt of the complaint, failure to this will impose a penality of Rs. 500/- per day.

M&L for replacement of Alluminium strip of any size and wornout / unserviceable stud insulators and refixing with screws / nuts, bolts and washers welding / brazing of joints / broken points including replacement of shaddles, making good distorted Alluminium strips by hammering/welding as per site requirement & refixing the same after repair also insulating with HDPE pipe of suitable dia /size, complete all as specified and directed. Note : HDPE Pipe and PVC insulators will be measured and paid seperately under relevant item. The contractor must employ manpower for the said work with in 48 Hrs post receipt of the complaint, failure to this will impose a penality of Rs. 500/- per day.

M&L in repairs for earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmX60cmX6.00mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate no less than 1.5m bellow normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcol dust and common salt filling in alternatie layers and electrode connected by galvanised iron strip 32mmx6mm by means of bolts, nuts and washers connected to test termination point protected by 40mm bore GI pipe light grade and GI pipe light grade 20mm bore for watering and inlcuding funnel, wire mesh, RCC pit cover and PCC chamber with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, returning filling, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50mtr all as specified and shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR Part-I and testing, complete all as specified and directed. Note : - (a) The unit rate shall include for GI water pipe, protection pipe wire mesh, funnel, excavation, RCC pit cover, PCC. Test point, GI strip 32x6mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 mtr. (b) PCC pit shall be provided at least 1.5m away from the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fixing junction, elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (c) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC 1:2:4 tyupe B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4 Kg/sqm.

M&L in repair earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick, burried directly in ground in vertical position, earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50m below ground level. The earth plate to be connetced with copper earthing strip of size 20 mmx 3mm thick by means of brazing between copper strip and earth plate min 45 cm in vertical length and copper strip also to be joined by brazing only. The copper earthing strip to be protected by galvanised iron pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) up to ground level and there after with 40mm dia PVC pipe up to test point. Earthing shall include provision of funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (light grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) up to 90 cm all around earth plate further filled with 60 cm thick Tibba sand and 2nd layer with 30 cm of Magnesium sulphate powder (compact thickness), 3rd layer with tibba sand up to ground level. Earthing shall also include concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded stone aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C both ways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary form work, earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I , complete all as specified and directed.

M& for surface dressing not exc 15cm deep of earth pit surrounding area upto 1.5 Mtr away on all sides and complete earth pit, funnel etc of earth pit chamber including by cutting and cleaning away grass, bushes, small plant, vegetable shrubs, bushes of under roots etc and depositing waste to nearby garbage bin, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair earth pit chamber with 120mm thick walls in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 of size 300x300mm (internal size)x250mm deep with 150mm thick foundation of size 690x690mm using PCC 1:4:8 type D-2, 15mm thick internal plaster, RCC (1:2:4) type B1 precast cover of size 540x540x40mm thick with 6mm dia 150mm C/C mild steel bars with lifting handles 02 Nos with 8mm dia MS bar complete including marking of earth pit details, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair and renewal of earthing complete including excavation, earth work, taking down of existing earthing plate and earth lead connection. Cleaning the earth plate and refixing with earth lead connection with and including GI nuts bolts and washers, providing layers of charcoal and salt as per plate No 3 of SSR part I, and M&L for precast PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) earth pit chamber and RCC (1:2:4) type B1 precast cover 40mm thick with 6mm dia mild steel bars @ 100mm C/C as in cover and testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed. Note : - (i) Test result of of earthing shall be submitted to Engr-in-charge in prescribed format. (ii) Watering pipe, protection pipe and funnel shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of schedule.

M&L in repair galvanised steel tubing 40 mm bore, light grade with all fittings as in protection of earthing lead, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair galvanised steel tubing 20 mm bore light grade with all fitting as in watering pipe for earthing as per plate No 3 of SSR part I, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair funnel made out of GI/mild steel sheet 3 mm thick in conical shape, dia of the funnel at bottom is 15 mm and at top is 75 mm, placed on GI pipe for watering the earth, complete all as specified and directed.

(Minimum Weight 25 kg) Recommended for harsh conditions incl Poly Plastic Earth pit Chamber Cover Heavy Duty (8 ton Capacity) including laying of copper strip from earth pit to testing point and testing point to equipment alongwith necessary bracing copper rod with copper strip and including the earthing strip to be covered in HDPE pipe of size 50mm fixed on wall using suitable bracket for proper insulation amongst the earthing rods to test point as well as from test point to equipment, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Earth test value required below 1ohms, if not found satisfactorily result the contractor will be liable to provide extra required materials for achiveing the earth value less than one ohms. No extra cost will be given to the contractor. In case contractor fails to achieve the desired values no payment will be admissible in this acount.

S&F in repair HDPE pipe 50mm bore with all fittings, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair PVC shaddles/ Insulators and fixing screws for roof conductors, down conductors and on wall conductors above ground, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair/ maint of broken/disconnected strip, hanging/ loose anywhere in station including shaddles, making good distroed strips (Al/GI/Copper) by hammering/welding as per requirement & refixing the same after repair also insulating with HDPE pipe, HDPE pipes shall be used in walls & brackets as per site requirement, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) HDPE Pipe shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item. (ii) The contractor must employ manpower for the said work with in 24 Hrs post receipt of the complaint failure to this will impose a penality of Rs. 500/- per day.
