Repairs to cutter head assembly of the Cutter Suction Dredger Budshah-II Ellicott series deployed at Wular WUCMA, by shifting of Dredger to shore side and then dismantling of the cutter head assembly from the cutter bearing and cutter drive and then lifting of the cutter head assembly by lifting mechanism & shifting of the same to road side and then the complete unit is to be loaded in a tractor trolley/pvt. Load carrier up to pvt. Workshop for further dismantling and assessment of repairs. The Job includes cost on account of men, machinery, tools & tackles etc provided by the firm, to shift the cutter head assembly from shore to road side of the respective site and to the workshop for conducting repairs.

Cutting of the worn-out /damaged male component (tooth base) from the cutter head assembly and then finishing the surfaces by using appropriate cleaning material, surface grinder and then providing and joining of new male component (tooth base) to cutter head by means of welding electrodes using MIG welding machine, of High tensile, wear resistant of hard facing material and refilling of the gaps/hollow section with high tensile hardened material. The base of the welded male component are then to be grinded and finished to original profile by hand grinding machines and other required machinery to make the original profile of the male component (tooth base) to match with the inner profile of the female tooth, so that the teeth (provided by the department ) can be fitted on it by means of steel locking nuts and bolts. All the tools, materials, welding electrodes, tackles needed for the successful completion of the job are to be provided and arranged by the firm including charges for men & material, complete job.

Dismantling of the damaged teeth (female part) by cutting of the damaged bolts. Finishing the surfaces of the male part by using appropriate cleaning material, surface grinder and then re-metaling of the male component (tooth base) by way of welding and grinding with appropriate type of welding electrodes using MIG welding machine, of High tensile, wear resistant of hard facing material and refilling of the gaps/hollow section with high tensile hardened material. The profile of the reconstructed male part shall match with the female teeth provided by the department with proper bolt hole opening. The job includes providing of all consumables like electrodes, tools and tackles that are found required for the successful completion of the job.

Shifting of the repaired assembly to the site by private transport including the cost of fitting the same on the Cutter Suction Dredger Soya -II Ellicott series after taking all precautions. The job includes all rigging jobs and the skilled labour required for the same. Moreover, the job includes the cost on account of testing of the machine at the site on No load and then on full load testing.
