Mechanical Road cutting work for construction of BSNL manhole chambers, to expose the compacted subgrade below, including liasing with KMRL authorities for obtaining necessary permission, and with traffic authorities for any necessary traffic diversions during the course of work. The work shall be carried out with necessary safety precautions, including cordoning off the area using illuminated traffic cones, and fluorescent tape, as well as necesary lighting arrangement. Rate worked out for each manhole chamber of size 1 m x 1 m or any other size as required and inclusive of all material, labour, hire charges and T & P and disposal charges.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5m, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge-All kinds of soil.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.

Supplying Precast RCC cover slabs for Access Chambers as per the following sequence of work:-a) Supplying and fixing structural steel frame work with ISMC 150 channel section to form the outer framework of RCC slab. The sections shall be joined by forming 45 degree mitered continous weld; b) Casting the RCC cover slab with mix 1:1:2 ( 1 Cement : 1 coarse sand : 2 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) with steel fibres of dia less than 0.75 mm and length about 50 mm, mixed @ about 0.3 % of concrete by volume-The cover slab shall be casted on metal sheet / plywood sheet as base formwork; c) Providing reinforcement for cover slab using 12 mm dia Fe 500D-TMT bars @ 75 mm centre to centre both ways , including cutting, welding, fixing in position etc. complete; d) Curing the slab for at least 14 days by immersion curing in water tank. The slab shall be cast in CTO Compound, Ernakulam and it shall be shifted and stacked suitably at secure location within the same compound, decided in consulation with the Engineer in Charge and TE authorities. The rate includes cost of all materials like steel frame work, concrete, reinforcement, all labour charges, form work and hauling, transportation, unloading and laying at site within 10 km of place of casting.. Access chamber cover having size 1 m x 0.50 m x 0.15 mtr ( excluding plastering / finishing)

Setting pieces of PVC pipes of nominal dia 110 mm in reinforcement mesh of RC cable chamber wall spanning fully across two walls of the chamber, including providing and tying to existing reinforcement around the pipes diagonal additional rebars of 12 mm dia forming extended squares. The pipe pieces shall aligned to match the entry direction of HDD drawn cables. Rate worked out for one chamber for fixing 4 such pipe pieces in staggered fashion across 2 cross walls on the chamber of wall thickness 0.25 m and depth 1.20 m, as per layout given by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. All kinds of soil.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for : Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for : Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for : Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, butteresses, plinth and string courses etc.

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level : 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level-Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Supplying and Setting in position in RC slab reinforcement mesh galvanised MS foundation bolts M 25 x 600, threaded length 100 mm clear above concrete surface and of class 8.8 set with 12.5 mm thick gusset plate of area spanning full dimesions of the bearing RC surface and nuts, with bolts spot welded in position on 25 x 5 mm MS flats embedded in concrete, both the bolts as well as MS flat tack welded or tied by binding wire to reinforcement bars, and ensuring that bolts stay in position during concreting. Rate worked out for set of upto 6 bolts set in a square, rectangular or circular pattern as per approved drawing.
