REPAIR MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING OF RAW WATER TANKS FILTER MEDIA AND SYL AREA INCLUDING CONNECTED ITEMS IN SECTOR C UNDER GE UTILITY AMBALA CANTT

Material and labour draining out water completely from the Gravity sand filter bed-02 Nos, size of each bed (double compartment) is 5.5Mtr x 8Mtr at SYL, removing the gravel/boulders , sand, silt, dirt etc from the filter beds and old unused gravel and sand shall be thrown out not exceeding 500 mtr, scrapping all the inner walls and bottom of the tanks by scrubbing with steel wire brush, washing with clean water and applying two coats of white lime wash on all internal and external surfaces of the bed, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and filling round boulder/gravel layer of 300 mm thick of approved quality of size 40-50mm or as per IS 8419 (Part 1) in filter bed unit No 1 & 2 complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Gravel shall be procured from Ghaggar near Mubarakpur or from similar sources as approved and directed by Engr- in-Charge.

Supply and filling round gravel layer of 500 mm thick of approved quality of size 3.15mm to 10mm or as per IS 8419 (Part 1) in filter bed unit No 1 & 2 complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Gravel shall be procured from Ghaggar near Mubarakpur or from similar sources as approved and directed by Engr- in-Charge.

Supply and filling silica sand of 750mm thick layer above the gravel, effective size of sand should be 0.45mm to 0.70mm, specific gravity of 2.55 to 2.65 and uniformity coefficient 1.3 to 1.7 in filter bed unit No 1 and 2 at SYL of approved quality complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Silica sand shall be procured from Godhra/Damodar Valley.

Dismantling the Air scour Rotary twin-lobe blower/compressor 1000cum/hr @ 4000mmWC from the foundation after disconnecting the all electrical connetions and shifting it to local workshop approved by Accepting Officer for servicing/repairing of connected items, cleaning the air filter, lubricating the mechanical parts like lobes, gears, bearings(replacing the bearings if required) etc and filling the lub oil of Servo system 320 of IOC and ENCLO-320 of HPCL-03 ltrs and transporting back to SYL plant and refixing at the same location including connecting all electrical connections and V- belt and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Disconnecting all electrical connections from electric motor 22KW/30HP and decoupling from air scour rotary twin blower and dismantling from foundation and transporting to local workshop approved by Accepting Officer for opening the motor taking out of burnt winding and thorough cleaning of the slotes, rewinding the complete motor with supper enamaled copper wire of same size and provn of supper quality insulating materials, warnishing and drying and taking back from wksp including lathe and other any type of machine work such as rotor work, welding, metalling, machining and grinding for bearing sheet etc and mounting, connecting all electrical connections alongwith reassembling pump set and testing complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dewatering sludgy water from the clariflocculator of size 20m diax5m deep by means of diesel engine or pump including disilting, cleaning of clariflocculator, alum mixing chamber, aerator and its connected drain and taking out sludge in form of solid manually and getting out minimum of 500m distance and buried the same in low lying area, welding of existing flat iron, angle iron , MS Plate etc. and painting with one coat by black paint including replacement of u/s shaft, bearing and pinion of gear box with new one including testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Clarriflocculator and connected items should be cleaned at least three times during the contract period and cost of cleaning shall be included in the quoted rate.

Dewatering the sludge tank of capacity 0.6 LG by any means and removing the mud, silt, dirt etc from tank with the help of sludge motor/manually and scrapping all arround the inner walls and bottom of the tank by scrubbing with steel wire brush, washing with clean water and applying two coats of white lime wash on the internal surface of the tank complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Sludge pump set shall be provided by the contractor and sludge tank should be cleaned at least three times during the contract period and cost of cleaning shall be included in the quoted rate.

Dewatering the Raw water sump of capacity 0.7 LG by any means and removing the mud, silt, dirt etc and scrapping all arround the inner walls and bottom of the tank by scrubbing with steel wire brush, washing with clean water and applying two coats of white lime wash on the internal surface of the tank complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note: Raw water tank will be available for cleaning 4 to 6 hrs everyday.Sludge pump set shall be provided by the contractor and sludge tank should be cleaned at least three times during the contract period and cost of cleaning shall be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for repairing of Butterfly valves of size 600mm dia heavy duty ISI marked with MS flange and ruber gasket including replacement of gear meachanism, key to operate it and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make: BDK process control india.Note: Repalcement cost of Nuts and bolt with washers and making threads to the key operating wheel & head stock if required shall be included in the quoted rate.

Description all as per item 10 here in before but 350/300 mm bore and ditto.

M&L for fabrication in replacement of water level indicator frame made out of MS Sheet 3mm thick and angle iron 50x50x6 mm including all fixing arrangement of overhead tank of minimum height of the tank 12mtr to 20mtr and painting two coat of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide primer and level marking with white and red paint, fixing and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for repairing of damaged road/path by proper ramming of soil and filled with readymix road repair material and spreading the same material on road/path and then proper rolling of the road/path with roller complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge. Note: Readymix road material shall be supplied in 50 Kg bags.

Supply and fix in replacement ductile iron fittings for spigot and socket /fanged pipe such as bends (any type radius and angle) tapers any type ( straight, bends, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) Tee pieces single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch , cross collers , caps and plugs upto 150 mm bore complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L repairing the leakage to existing CI/DI pipe line of 250/200/150mm bore and fittings leakage by caulking of lead joint at the place where joints leaking in running water pipe line including necessary material complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In- Charge. Note: the cost of excavation, removing and refilling up to 2 mtr depth shall be included in the quoted rate.

Description all as per Srl No. 15 above but for 100mm/80mm bore pipe lines and fittings -ditto-

Disconnecting all electrical connections from sludge motor of 20 HP and pulling from sludge tank, dismantling and transporting to local workshop approved by Accepting Officer for opening the motor, taking out of burnt winding and thorough cleaning of the slotes, rewinding the complete motor with supper enameled copper wire of same size and provn of supper quality insulating materials, warnishing and drying including lathe and other any type of machine work such as rotor work, welding, metalling, machining and grinding for bearing sheet etc and transporting back to SYL, mounting on sludge tank including connecting all electrical connections after relowering and testing complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plate, path cover stainless steel plate, fabricated from structural stainless steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, binding, cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of black paint as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S & F in replacement PVC flexible hosepipe of size upto 10mm dia suitable for chlorination of water complete as specified and directed by Engr - in- Charge.

Taking down GI slotted Pipe 20mm dia from Alum Chambers and supply and fix GI (slotted) Pipe of size 20mm dia in Alum chambers including all necessary fittings complete as specified and directed by Engr - in- Charge.

Taking down UPVC Pipe 50mm dia from Alum Chambers and supply and fix UPVC Pipe of size 50mm dia suitable for Alum chambers including all necessary fittings complete as specified and directed by Engr - in- Charge.

Disconnecting all electrical connections of 2.2 KW/3 HP induction motor from Alum chamber and transporting to local workshop approved by Accepting Officer for opening the motor, taking out of burnt winding and thorough cleaning of the slotes, rewinding the complete motor with supper enameled copper wire of same size and provn of supper quality insulating materials, warnishing and drying including lathe and other any type of machine work such as rotor work, welding, metalling, machining and grinding for bearing sheet etc and transporting back to SYL, mounting on sludge tank including connecting all electrical connections after relowering and testing complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of CI/DI Butterfly Valve, lever operated, Pressure rating PN- 1.6, Wafer type, nitrile rubber lining, suitable insertion between flanges ends, 125mm nominal bore ISI marked complete with MS tail pieces double side flanged including welding work as per site requirement, rubber/fiber board gasket , nuts & bolts, washers etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Description all as per ser item No. 23 above but for size 100 mm bore.

Supply and fix in replacement Gravity feed type gaseous chlorinator of capacity 2.0 to 5.0 kg/hr suitable for supplying chlorine gas to clear water complete with all fixing arraangement and necessary accessories including support of angle stainless steel frame as per existing size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L in replacement of wheel operated opening/closing valve of size upto 300mm with circular plate/flat plate at the end, installed at SYL filteration plant for filter media including key, nut, bolt and spindle, rubber gasket, making thread on spindle, welding and lubriaction of all mechanical part with grease etc as directed and specified by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing of bushes/shrubs, small trees, vegetation growth upto the bottom of raw water tank No. 1 approx 10 mtr slant height, taking out debris and grass growth from the Raw water tank including using chemicals for removing bushes/weeds/shrubs etc. to a distance not exceeding 500mtr and making good all the distrubed surface of raw water tank upto the entire gravitation system complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Description all as per ser item No. 27 above but for Tank No. 2.

Description all as per ser item No. 27 here in before but for Tank No. 4. Notes: For item Sr No 27 to 30 a) Please note that in one stage only One tank shall be provided for cleaning. b)Contractor shall provide boat & safety equipment during taking out the debris from water surface without dewatering the raw water tanks. c) Water supply should not be affected during cleaning of debris from raw water tank. d) Cleaning of Raw water tank and above mentioned area should be done atleast thrice during the period of CA the cost to the same shall be included in the quoted rate by contractor.

Surface dressing around the raw water reservoir not exceeding 30 cms deep by cutting/removing of bushes/small trees/vegetation growth upto boundry wall around the raw water storage tank no. 1, and levelled surface all around the raw water storage tank including removing soil and debries a distance of 50mtr (minimum) and burning the the trees/vagetations in the presence of Engr-in-charge. Note- The process of cutting and removing of trees/vagetation shall be done at least three times during the completion and cost of the same shall be included in qouted rates by the contractor.

Cutting/removing of bushes/small trees/vegetation growth upto a distance of appx 50 mtr around the old water filteration plant of SYL Ph-I, not exc 30cms deep incl drains all around the plant incl rough surface leveling/cutting,filling upto 12" height/ depth all around the plant and removing and burning debries at a distance of 50mtr (minimum) in the presence of Engr-in-charge. Note- The process of cutting and removing of trees/vagetation shall be done at least three times during the completion and cost of the same shall be included in qouted rates by the contractor.

Description all as per ser item No. 35 above but for SYL Ph-II.

Desilting, cleaning (debris and grass growth) and removal of mud from canal of appx 1100 mtr taking out mud debris grass growth and any type of silt etc and removal to a distance not exceeding 500mtr including making good all the bottom surface of canal complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Cleaning of Canal should be done every month and the cost to the same shall be included in the quoted rate by contractor.

S&F in repair Float valves of size 20 mm high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated Aluminium rod & high-density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe and fixed in repair complete all as specified and directed.

Chemical Analysis test for treated water sample taken from Filteration plant Ph- I & II at SYL, TW No 50 and submitted to PHE laboratory for the same along with 2 ltr water sample bottle-03 Nos for each test and the report must be submitted to this office on the last day of each month complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note :- Amount of credit of Rs. 75650.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit mentioned in tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
