8537/E8 MAINT AND REPAIR/REPLACEMENT AND CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINE, MANHOLES, SEPTIC TANKS, SOAKAGE WELLS, WATER TANK CLEANING, CLEANING OF DRAIN PIPES ETC AT STN BAREILLY UNDER GE(EAST) BAREILLY

Taking out muddy/ sewage water from manholes, soakage pit/ septic tanks of any size, depth and capacity by using of mechanical sewage/ mud water disposal pump set and dispossed off muddy/ sewage water in a closed container vehicle to a distance outside MD land complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- All labour and T&P i.e. sewage water pump set, diesel, transportation of pump set from one place to other place, suction pipe, delivery pipe and manpower, prepair approach to working site/ point etc required for above work, shall be deemed included in unit rates quoted by the contractor and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

Removing blockage including cleaning of SGSW / PVC/ CI pipe upto and including 100 mm bore in any length from gulley trap to 1st manhole by rodding / choke remover, manually or otherwise including removing & refixing manhole covers of 1st manhole complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Site clearance soft loose soil including clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings,shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth,roots,and trees not exceeding 30 cm in girth (measured at a height of one meter above ground level) and removing entire rubbish out side MOD land complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Removing existing man hole cover and cleaning/ desludging, descaleing, dechocking of existing Manhole/Septic tank/ Sockage well of any description, size and depth with combined high pressure water jetting cum suction (vacuum) type machine minimum 2000 ltr capacity tank mounted on LCV/HCV and having facilities of high pressure vacuum and provn of hydraulic through high pressure thermo plastic fiber based jetting hose and conical round shape nozzle pipe and flushing after cleaning including removing the same in the tank to place outside MOD land all as per existing rules and regulations of civil authorities and flushing the same with fresh water etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : Log book for above T&P properly mantained by Contractor and verified by Engr-in-Charge before process of payment.

Removing existing man hole cover and cleaning of existing sewage line of any dia and any depth and size including manholes upto 1.5mtr depth by mechanical Jetting/rodding machine with sufficent pressure and rodding to clear the line without damageing the pipes by removing from sludge chambers (PVC/ SGSW/RCC hume pipe ) gully trap of any size and shape up to any depth by pumping out /removing liquid waste / sewage , plugging the ends pipe or diverting the flow into drains if necessary , removing silt ,sludge etc , sprinking bleaching powder on the silt to avoid bad smell including all precautionary and safety measures such as sefety belts , lighting arrangements face mask etc and removing the same (silt , sludge & other waste material ) leak proof trucks covered with tarpoline to out side of MD land all as per existing rules and regulations of civil authorities and flushing the sewer line with fresh water etc complete all as specified and directed Note : (i). After Commencement of work the Contractor should start the cleaning of Sewage line without any delay. (ii) At the time of cleaning the sewage line the contractor will intimate this office on daily basis for supervision of work and kept the record of cleaned sewage line length on register duly signed by User complete. (iii) The Contractor is liable for maintaining once cleaned sewage line till completeion date of Contact and payment shall be made once during the Contract period.

Cleaninig & desilting of manholes depth exc 1.5 mtr but not exc 6.00 by pumping ot /removing liquid waste / sewage & plugging the ends sewer pipes or diverting the flow into drains if necessary removing silt , sludge etc sprinkimg bleaching powder on the silt to avoid bad smell including all precautionary and safety measures , such as safety belts ,lighting arrangements face mask etc and removing the same (silt ,sludge & other waste material ) in leak proof trucks covered with tarpaulin to outside of MD land all as per existing rules and regulations of civil authorities and cleaning the manholes with fresh water etc complete all as specified and directed by engr - in charge .

Clearing blockages and removal of sludge/mud and other accumulated materials and cleaning gully traps/nahani traps, Bends with any dia pipes by opening doors of bends and refixing the same and manhole chambers of any description and size. Including disposal sludge materials in closed filth carts and depositing all as directed by Engr-in-charge, including sprinkling of antibiotic powder on affected area.Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : (i) Contractor/ supervisor with sufficient Nos (ie minimum Two person of each zone) of sewar cleaning personals will report to AGE B/R III Office (Zone A, B,C & D) for collecting day to day sewage complaint at 8.00 AM and completed the complaint within 48 hrs in AGE B/R III Office (Zone A, B,C & D) and necessary E- Riskshaw shall be provided by contractor Zone wise for transportation of sewage personals with dress code as per directed by Engr-in-Charge. (ii) Necessary arrangement of tools for clearing the sewage line/blockage beared by contractor including complaint slip duly printed. (iii) In case, fail to attend the complaint within 48 hrs, the recovery amount will be Rs 300.00 for each complaint. (iv) If any blockage is at any height upto 4 storey bldg the contractor will remove the blockage by using ledder or other mechanical means to clear the blockage , including puncture the vertical lines and making good the same with hassion cloth with CM , The rates are deemed to includ this provision and payment will be made under this item.

Pumping out of liquid sludge etc, from septic tank/soakage well any depth and removing the settled sludge/ materials and depositing beyond A1 defence land by contractors own arengmentcomplete all as specified and directed. Note- The unit rate quoted under this item shall deemed to include the arrangements of Sewage pump and delevery pipe minimum 60 mtr length and all necessary T&P with man and material and safety equipment etc. for mearsurement purpose internal dimension of well upto sludge height to be measured.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise described for (such as in bed, haunching & packing of sewer lines, benching of manholes, copings etc.) complete all as directed and removal of debris outside the premises.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation etc or for shaft, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soil all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge
