DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

M & L for cleaning of blockage of traps of any type or of any size by way of cleaning, desluging foreign material as well as roding of sewer line from trap to first manhole manually/ mechanically and keeping sewer line functional upto first man hole manually entering from floor trap/nahani trap/water closet/soil waste/vent pipe/gully trap and removing the sludge to out of MoD land complete all as directed.

Excavation in trenches, n.exc. 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 1.5 m in depth and getting out inhard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.02 above but depth exc.1.5m but n.exc.3.0m and getting out complete.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering & well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance n.exc. 50m and depsoited where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5m above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M & L PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation and mass concrete complete all as specified.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channels and drain, complete all as specified and directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds mitred / stopped end, complete all as specified and directed. (Inner girth only measured)

Add or deduct for each 25mm girth or part thereof over or under 30cm inner girth in cement concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) in ground floor and pavings n.exc 15 cm thickness (below and above ground level) all as specified and directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in manhole cover, set in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length bent to shape required including cranking, beinding spirally for hooping for columns hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips all as specified and directed.

Ditto- all as per item No 13 above but MS round bar 10 mm dia and over as in handles of manhole covers

Demolition of cement concrete block masonary, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc. and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete block masonry 1:3: 6 type C-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) with soild blocks, exc 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping including weathering and throating including necessary form work etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick/concrete surfaces in CM 1:4, including to be finished even and smooth (without using extra lime or cement) finishing the surfaces fair and even, mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer instructions, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- WPC shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of schedule 'A'

Supply only liquid water proofing compound, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering on other than faces of brick/concrete surfaces in CM 1:6, including finishing the surfaces fair and even complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 150 MM bore Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP3, laid in trenches and jointed with collars in cement and sand mortar 1:1 Including demolition and breaking up unserviceable drain pipes (Salt glazed ware, AC or Reinforced concrete), set in cement mortar, incl Concrete bed of cement concrete type C-2 (1:3:6) to drain pipes of 150 mm bore including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested after demolition of concrete beds complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Excavation & earth work shall be measured separately )

S&F 300 MM bore Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP3, laid in trenches and jointed with collars in cement and sand mortar 1:1 Including demolition and breaking up unserviceable drain pipes (Salt glazed ware, AC or Reinforced concrete), set in cement mortar, incl Concrete bed of cement concrete type C-2 (1:3:6) to drain pipes of 300 mm bore including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested after demolition of concrete beds complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Excavation & earth work shall be measured separately )

Taking up existing cover of soak well / septic tank of any size and cleaning of same including dewatering and digging out sludge, mud state and removing the sludge to a distance exc. 250m and n. exc. 500m and disposed off as directed by the Engineer-in-charge cleaning of inlet & outlet pipes and tank with clean water and placing the cover in position, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Measurement shall be made for size of tank/soak well up to water level

Taking up existing cover of man holes and cleaning of man holes to any depth and of any size by taking out semi-solid/solid sludge complete and removing sludge to out of MoD land and placing the man hole cover in position complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning of 100mm bore and up to and including 150mm bore sewage lines and blocked pipe lines and disposal of waste materials / spoil up to a distance n. exc. 50m by any means complete all as directed. Note :- Relaying / refixing or S&F of new pipe etc where required and cleaning of manholes shall be measured seperately.

Cleaning of 200mm bore and up to and including 300mm bore sewage line including manhole and blocked pipe lines and disposal of waste materials / spoil up to a distance n. exc. 50m by any means complete all as directed. Note :- Relaying / refixing or S&F of new pipe etc where required and cleaning of manholes shall be measured seperately.

S&F 100 mm dia, cast iron sand cast soil waste and vent pipe, in any length with or without ears, with cement joints, laid in trenches or in floors, or fixed to walls including dismantling of old pipe complete all as specified and directed

S&F 75 mm dia, cast iron sand cast soil waste and vent pipe, in any length with or without ears, with cement joints, laid in trenches or in floors, or fixed to walls including dismantling of old pipe complete all as specified and directed

S&F in repairs 100mm dia, cast iron sand cast Bends laid and jointed complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs 75mm dia, cast iron sand cast Bends laid and jointed complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section ) cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finised and reforming benching as required for 150 mm to 300 mm interrnal dia of pipe

Taking down eaves gutters and rain water pipes ( any size or pattern) incl all fittings , shoes, bends, swan neck etc. and removal to store
