PHASE - I SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I

[c] Battery operated emergency light [LED Ceiling Fitting] alarm [speaker for emergency alarm system to be fixed] and stop button in car with rechargeable arrangement for battery. [d] Designer Six sleek circular LED light fitting 5 Watts x 4 Nos. in false ceiling. [e] Provision of one cross flow fan suitable for recessed mounting in false ceiling. [f] Provision of premium quality Jet black Granite stone slab of 18-20 mm thick as in flooring for lift car (Not more than two parts) over 3 mm thick aluminium chequered sheet. [g] Nonstop button/ independent operation. [h] Over load warning indicator with both audio and visual type with overload protection/ tripping system having relays , etc. [j] Front landing door of stainless steel Mirror finish, operations with a minimum time of 10 sec and up to a maximum time of 30 seconds. [k] Stainless steel sliding doors with front opening for all Landings made of 16 gauge stainless steel sheet with Mirror finish with vision panel of size 300 X 1700mm covered with 8mm thick toughened plain glass. [l] All the dimensions of the lift and connected items shall be designed in conformity with IS 14665 standards and the contractor shall submit the design drawing to Accepting Officer for approval before commencementof work. The body shall be stainless steel of 16 gauge with Mirror finish with 38mm dia stainless steel hand rail with hairline finish. [m] Set of three in number limit switches at the bottom and top most position of lift hoist ways as specified in IS. [n] Stainless steel hand rail 38mm dia with hairline finish. [o] Specification plate with complete details [p Full length display indicator panel.

[q] Provision of suitable phase reversal relays to the controller to protect lift/ equipment against phase reversal, phase failure and low voltage. [r] Provision of Intercom. [s] Continuous earthing for machine and equipment [t] Steel Wire rope of adequate size as per relevant IS and as per manufacturers specification. [u] Other standard fixtures and fittings like guide rails, sheaves, counter weights with guards, buffers, gear unit brakes, control panel, car operational panel, governor, locks, power control and trailing cables complete all as per latest IS specifications. [v] Main drives and controls shall be high efficient and low power consumption. [w] Lift design, specifications, drawings, manufacturers instructions shall be got approval from Accepting Officer before placing order for procurement. [x] The contractor shall carry third party load testing for each lift installed once in every six months and shall submit staisfactory test results and the rate quoted shall be deemed to included for this provision.

Earthing complete with Galvanised Steel Earth Plate Electrode 600 X 600 X 6 mm thick burried directly in ground [earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level] with top edge of Plate not less than 1.50 m below normal ground level connected to 32 X 6mm GI Strip [Earth Lead] and GI pipe 50 mm, Medium Grade for earthing lead protection to the extent of maximum 7.5m, Earth Plate Electrode surrounded by 150mm thick packed layers of Charcoal and Common Salt filled in alternate layers, connected to the Plate by means of GI Bolts & Nuts complete all as per Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part – I, connected to panel / DB including testing on completion including main earthing, Charcoal, Common Salt, PCC [1:2:4, Type B1] Pit with RCC 1:2:4, Type B1 Cover, 50 mm thick with 6 Nos, 8 mm dia TMT bars in both ways, MS frame made with 40 X 40 X 6 mm Angle Iron, MS Funnel with 20 mm bore, medium grade GI Watering pipe, wire mesh, earth work excavation, return filling, removal of surplus soil etc. including taking down of existing earthing set complete all as specified.

S & F Aluminium Strip of size 25 X 4.0 mm, fixed to walls / columns / beams etc with Saddles or porcelain blocks of 10mm thick spaced at 1.00m centre to centre including making grooves and fixing with brass screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Hylam sheet block shall be in two pieces each 10mm thick, one fixed to base with brass screws and the other fixed over it with brass screws after fixing aluminium strip in the groove provided.

S & F in repairs MCCB DB, 4P, 4 Way, 415 Volts with DIN Channel, N3 Frame, Double Door with 250 Amps rated bus bar suitable for mounting MCCBs and including one MCCB, FP, 63 Amps, 16 KA, 415 Volts, 50 Hz complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, laying, testing and commissioning of XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed, FRLS, armoured heavy duty underground cable, ISI marked with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade of size 3.5 Core, 50 Sq.mm cross section suitable for earthed system, laying in trenches / duct / fixed to poles / drawn through pipes / sleeving through pipe in duct, including suitable size Double compression copper stainless steel cable gland, crimping type cable lugs, sockets etc. including taking down old LT Cables of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F On-Load Changeover Switch, FP, 100 Amps, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC, Front Operated Handle, in sheet steel enclosure, with Advance Neutral and conforming to IS – 13947 [Part – 3] & IEC:60947–3 including taking down old Change Over Switch of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

PHASE – II [Schedule "A" Part – II]: Comprehensive Maintenance of Passenger Lifts as Provided Under Schedule "A"/ BoQ Part – I for Three Years After Successful Completion of Defects Liability Period of Work under Phase – I]:

M & L for Comprehensive Maintenance of Electrically Operated Passenger Lifts of 13 Passengers [884 KGs] Capacity, serving G+6 Floors, installed at HQ ENC, catered under Serial Item No. 01 of BoQ / Schedule "A" Part – I for Third Year after successful completion of work under Phase-I complete and all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Comprehensive Maintenance of Electrically Operated Passenger Lifts of 13 Passengers [884 KGs] Capacity, serving G+6 Floors, installed at HQ ENC, catered under Serial Item No. 01 of BoQ / Schedule "A" Part – I for Fourth Year after successful completion of work under Phase-I complete and all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Comprehensive Maintenance of Electrically Operated Passenger Lifts of 13 Passengers [884 KGs] Capacity, serving G+6 Floors, installed at HQ ENC, catered under Serial Item No. 01 of BoQ / Schedule "A" Part – I for Fifth Year after after successful completion of work under Phase-I complete and all as specified and as directed.

[e] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of testing of each lift by Licensed Lift Inspector of Government of Andhra Pradesh once in six month for worthiness of the Lift in respect of safety. Certificate issued by the Licensed Lift Inspector shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge and a copy of Certificate shall be displayed in all Lift Cabins as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. [f] Emergency Light and necessary tools shall be available in a tool box in the shift for smooth functioning of lifts. [g] Conveyance and communication system like mobile phone etc. shall be provided by the contractor to all Lift Mechanics and Helpers. [h] The contractor shall abide by the latest Labour Rules and Minimum Wages Act. [i] Wages paid by the contractor to the persons employed shall not be less than the minimum wages fixed by State / Central Government from time to time whichever is higher. The contractor shall also insure the workmen employed on the job. [j] The contractor is responsible for Insurance, EPF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Labour Welfare Cess etc., as applicable and shall be paid to the Workmen as per existing Labour Rules / Acts / Regulations and rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same.

[k] INSURANCE AND DRESS CODE: The contractor shall provide the workmen with Dark Blue Colour uniform with labels showing the Name of Firm and the Designation and "GE [Utility-I] [V]" printed on them along with protective clothing. The contractor shall also provide shoes to the workers and the persons shall not be allowed to enter the work site without wearing shoes. [l] The contractor shall be responsible for all Accidents / Injuries happening to the workmen. Any accident causing Minor / Fatal Injury, Partial Disability due to any untoward incident or non-adherence to Safety and IE Regulations or fault in maintaining of Lifts System / Safety Mechanism or on account of any mishandling / wrong operation / lack of knowledge of safety precautions or on account of any circumstances beyond his/their control, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims of compensation to the deceased, failing which department will have a right to recover any sum indicated / claimed by Labour Commissioner / Court authorities. No claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. No compensation is payable by the department on this account. Contractor shall provide first aid boxes to meet any emergency situations. [m] The contractor shall carryout the comprehensive maintenance of the lifts catered under subject work through the Original Equipment Manufacturer of that lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies only. The lowest bidder shall submit MoU from the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the Lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies to provide technical support, trained persons for maintenance & testing and spares before commencement of the work to GE. The spares shall be of the make as per existing or as per the OEM. [n] MINIMUM MANPOWER TO BE EMPLOYED: The contractor shall be required to employ the One Lift Mechanic per Shift of 08 Hours from 0900 Hours to 1700 Hours and shall report to Office of AGE [E/M] for day to day maintenance and efficient operation of Lifts.
