Providing and Fixing pressed steel doors frames manufactured from commercial mild steel sheet of 1.25 mm thickness including hinges jump lock jamb,beed and if required angle threshold of mild steel angle of section 50x25mm or base ties of 1.25 mm pressed mild steel welded or rigidly fixed together by mechanical means,adjustable lugs with split and tails to each jamb including steel butt things 2.5 mm thick with guards lock strike plate and shock as specified and applying a coat of approved steel primer after pre-treatment of the surface as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing form work with steel plates 3.15 mm thick welded with angle iron in frames 30x30x5 mm, so as to give a fair finish including centering ,shuttering, propping etc.with wooden battens and ballies, height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4 meters and removal of the same for-in-situ reinforced concrete and plain concrete work in:-Vertical surface such as walls(any thickness) partitions and the like including attached pillasters, butteresses, plinth and string courses and the like in all leads & lifts.

2nd Layer :-Coursed sand screened, cleaned, washed & graded 3 mm to 6 mm from approved quarry in all leads and lifts.

3rd Layer :-Bajri screaned, washed and graded 6 mm to 20 mm from approved quarry in all leads and lifts.

4th Layer :-Bajri screaned, washed & graded 20 mm to 25 mm from approved quarry in all leads and lifts.

5th Layer :- Brocken stone screaned, washed and graded for 50 mm to 75 mm from approved quarry in all leads and lifts.

Construction designing testing and commissioning of water treatment plant 0.72 MLD at following locations comprising of following units.RAW WATER TANK .INLET CHAMBER .INLET CHAMBER &PARSHALL FLUME.PRE SETTLING TANK.FLASH MIXER UNIT. FLOCULATOR SETTLING TANK. RAPID SAND GRAVITY FILTER . BACK WASH SYSTEM . CLEAR WATER TANK . PLANT BULDING . LABORATORY EQUIPMENT and Proivision for barbed wire fencing with RCC poles around water treatment plant (Area 2x70.00+27.00)=194.00 Rmt.complete in all respect.and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (1). The Lump-Sum Price bid of the contractor shall consist of following three parts. (a). Cost of WTP component including pump house cum WC toilet with septic tanks mechanical/electrical works (excluding site development) Rs. (b). Cost of site development work including R/wall, B/wall etc Rs. (c ). C/O Cost of fencing work RsThe design/ drawing of mechanical/ electrical equipment and wiring etc. along with manufacture’s specification/design also be submitted for approval of the department after vetting. In design and drawings the contractor/ firm shall submit the design calculations clearly indicating various formulae used and reference of books IS codes thereto. The contractors/ firms shall also supply software copy.(CD) of design calculation along with basic data used in the design so as to facilitate the quick checking/approval of the same. On the completion of all civil mechanical and electrical works, the contractor shall test/run the plant for 90 days before handing over the same to the department at the risk and cost of the contractor, however, electrical charges shall be borne by the department. (d). Cost of Gaseous Chlorination. (e) C/O Approach roadh for WTP. ( f). Total Cost = ( a+b+c+d+e). Rs. (2). The detailed design parameters /specification and conditions shall be as per detailed design parameters. (3). The contractor/ firm shall propose the layout of WTP units in such a manner that the cost of site development is minimum. Terms and Condition:- The firm shall submit the detailed hydraulic and structural design and drawing for each component of treatment plant which shall be approved by the department before the work is started. Before submitting the hydraulic as well as structural design and drawing for approval by the department it should be duly vetted from any of institution mentioned below:- (ii) Any of IIT/NIT (iii) (ii) Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh. During this period the contractor shall run the plant of full rated capacity and produce the results as per the CPHEEO standards and ISI codes in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge or his representative. During this period , the daily testing of raw water and treated water samples shall be done. Complete record of the test results and the flow measurement shall be kept during this period. If the performance of various units of the treatment plant is as specified in the CPHEEO Manual the plant shall be formally taken over by the department, otherwise the contactor shall make necessary changes / repair to improve the efficiency of the units/plant. The contractor / firm shall run and maintain the plant for further 90 days after handing over the plant to the department. During this period the firm shall depute at least one trained person to train the departmental persons in operating, maintaining the plant and regular testing of the raw water and treated water samples in the laboratory for the same period shall be done. During this period. Only energy charges shall be borne by the department. The contractor/ firm shall be responsible for any break down of the machinery/ equipment and shall have to repair all the fault/defects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Out of 90 days one month should preferably be Monsoon to test the plant for heavy silt loads.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of vaccum oprated, pressure feed gaseous clorinator of Toshcon jesco / Capital make for clorination of water by direct feeding to existing water main consisting of the following components in all leads and lifts as spacified below. Providing installation & commissioning of gaseouos type fully vaccum chlorination system having 0-1.0 kg per hour chlorine gas feeding capacity of PENWALT(USA) / ECOCHLOR (USA) / ENCHLOR (USA)/Jasco (USA) make. The system shall have vacuum regulator with inbuilt Filter and Pressure Gauge, in-built Measuring Glass with dose rate adjuster, Vacuum ejector, ejector Non Return Valve, 4.0 m long PE tubing (As Vacuum and Vent tubing), 32 mm Spanner, Ammonia Solution etc. in all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge .

Chlorine Gas Injector.

Providing installation & commissioning single phase monoblock pump 1.5 to 2.0 HP of required discharge capacity with Motor of Kirloskar/Crompton Greaves make with common steel fabricated base frame duly grouted at site including starter and cabling including all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction of Engineer - in - charge.

Providing installation & commissioning of ISI marked PVC pipe & fittings, ball valves, Lead washers, O-Rings, G.I. pipe and fitting for installation and grouting of steel stand for ejector of gaseous type chlorination system complete in all respect including all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction of Engineer - in - charge.

Providing & Installation of gas filled chlorine gas cylinder of 100 kg capacity as per BIS standard duly certified by the petroleum and explosive safety organization Govt. of India for filling of chlorine gas required for the scheme including all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge .

Providing and Supplying of Safety kit.

Providing, laying, jointiong and testing in trenches GMS pipe of following dia meters confirming to BIS: 1239 (Part-i),of following grade having wall thickness as specified below with plain end and capable of with standing required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including special, short pieces , beds reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube providing and welding of MS flanges detailed as below. The MS flanges shall confirm to BIS 6392 - 1971 (with latest up to date amendments) duly welded in two layers (two inner and two outer) with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards along with nuts and bolts of required sizes, 3 mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets confirming to relevant BIS standards. The laying of pipe will include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing , providing and fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge . The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipe shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS standards. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/L&T or ISI marked make. The rates also includes entire carrage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in Charge with in all leads and lifts (Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separately)Raw Water Stage100 mm dia-GMS pipe 4.50 mm thickness with Flange Table-17 (Medium Class)

Pumping Machinery:- Supply of submersible pumping set of KSB/Calama/SU/ johnson and other approved make comprising to latest relevant BIS Code. The pump should be fitted with bronze impller of suitable alloys as per BIS 5659-1972 latest suitable for having greased packed bearing and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersibed squirrei cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP RPM 2900 of Kirloskar /NGEF/ Cromption and other approved make make conformining to BIS 9287-1979 latest with upto date amendmednts totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. Providing ICTP main switch with HRC fuses of Kilburn/ L&T/Siemens/Standard/ Havells make and having capacity 30% extra of the operational rating as per IS: 4064-1978 with up to date amendments , immediately after the power meter of the HPSEBL.

Providing MS sheet steel fabricated floor mounted closed(almirah type) switch board including angle iron post of suitable height and size ISA 40x4r0x6 duly painted with steel sheet of 16 gauge comprising and capable of mounting the following accessories within all internal connections. All the accessories should be suitable for the proposed pumping machinery at item No.1 above and to the entire satisfaction of HPSEB authorities. The same shall have to be replaced with out extra cost if recommended by HPSEB authorities

a) OCB/MCCB of MEI/Havels/ standard make and of suitable capacity for offered motor on incoming feeder with or without initial oil filling as the case may be with neutral linked under voltage released as per relevent IS code with upto date ammendments

b) Earth leakage circuit breaker of recommended make (Kilburn/L&T/MEI/GEC) as per IS:2516:1977 with upto date ammendments of suitable range which should have control box, operation, handle and trip/reset bush button on/off indicators, re-indicating off spring condition of the ciruit breaking for cover current protection. The circuit should be equipped with magnet thermal release with metallic tap etc, it should also be fitted with earth fault for tripping of breaker on occurnce of earth fault on off breaker load side end.

c) The voltage monitor relay of AE/MEI/L&T / Havells make three phase with all protection and usual indicator and electric siren against single phasing,low voltage,high voltage, reverse phasing, over loading and phase voltage difference as per IS:3482(latest edition)

m) Providng Digital hour run meter of recommended make and suitable capacity as per IS:722(latest edition.)

n) Providng antivibration pads under the pumps and motors of suitable size for the above pumping machinery as per IS:6337:1971.

Increasers with companions flanges matching with the relevant specifications of the accessories including rubber/asbestos gasket of minimum 3mm thckness as per IS:2712:1979 and required number of nuts and bolts as per Is:1364:1983, The Pipes fittings and joints shall be as per relevant IS code & to withstand 1.5 times total head stipulated under item No.12. The size of the various components to be as under:a) Suction pipe : One dia higher then the suction of pump offered and suitable to keep the velocity of flow from 1 to 1.5M/second in the suction pipe

b) Delivery pipe: One dia higher then the delivery of the pump offered and suitable to keep the velocity of flow from 1.5 to 2M/second in the delivery pipe

c) Common header : One dia higher then delivery of pump x 65 mm dia and will extend upto 5 meters from the outer wall of the pump house in the direction to be jointed.

Providing ICTP main switch with HRC fuses of Kilburn/ L&T/Siemens/Standard/ Havells make and having capacity 30% extra of the operational rating as per IS: 4064-1978 with up to date amendments , immediately after the power meter of the HPSEBL.

Providing MS sheet steel fabricated floor mounted closed(almirah type) switch board including angle iron post of suitable height and size ISA 40x4r0x6 duly painted with steel sheet of 16 gauge comprising and capable of mounting the following accessories within all internal connections. All the accessories should be suitable for the proposed pumping machinery at item No.1 above and to the entire satisfaction of HPSEB authorities. The same shall have to be replaced with out extra cost if recommended by HPSEB authorities

a) OCB/MCCB of MEI/Havels/ standard make and of suitable capacity for offered motor on incoming feeder with or without initial oil filling as the case may be with neutral linked under voltage released as per relevent IS code with upto date ammendments

b) Earth leakage circuit breaker of recommended make (Kilburn/L&T/MEI/GEC) as per IS:2516:1977 with upto date ammendments of suitable range which should have control box, operation, handle and trip/reset bush button on/off indicators, re-indicating off spring condition of the ciruit breaking for cover current protection. The circuit should be equipped with magnet thermal release with metallic tap etc, it should also be fitted with earth fault for tripping of breaker on occurnce of earth fault on off breaker load side end.

c) The voltage monitor relay of AE/MEI/L&T / Havells make three phase with all protection and usual indicator and electric siren against single phasing,low voltage,high voltage, reverse phasing, over loading and phase voltage difference as per IS:3482(latest edition)

e) Digital Power factor meter of standard make AE/L&T/IMP/Havells as per relevant IS code with upto dateammendments

f) Digital Frequencey meter of standard makeAE/L&T/IMP/Havells as per relvant IS code with uptodate ammendments

g) Bus bar chamber having three copper bars of suitable rating for full length equal to the width of the board for three live phases and suitable for inducted current, one copper bar of half the rating of full length for neutral phase as per IS 8084-1976 and IS:11353-1985 read with BIS 5578-1985 with upto date ammendments

h) ICTP switches with HRC fuses unit of Kilbur/L&T/siemens/stands/Havells make and of suitable capacity as per IS:4064:1978 with upto date ammendments

i) Three phase indicator lamps complete with toggle switches for individual motors as per IS:3452:(P-I & II) with upto date ammendments

k) Capacitor of Mechneil/ BHEL/GEC make as per 15:2834:1986 with upto date ammendments , to raise the power factor at site to 0.95 for direct connections to induction motor individually of required KVA rting according to H.P.offered including cables as per relevant ISI code (of siemens/clocter.IEC make )from bus bar chamber to capacitor and also including ICTP switches of appropriate range as per Is:4064:1978 with upto date ammendments

l) Providing suitable oil immersed starter delta/direct on line/auto transformer/. starter rotor starter of MEI/.Kilburn/Jyoti /L&T/Siemens make as per IS:8544:1979 with upto date ammendments for squirrel cage/slip ring motor mounted on panel board with magnetic type over-load release and dashpot, time lag, under voltage release with or without initial oil filling as the case may be with single phae preventor as per IS:1248( P-V) 1983 with upto date ammendments

m) Providng Digital hour run meter of recommended make and suitable capacity as per IS:722(latest edition.)

n) Providng antivibration pads under the pumps and motors of suitable size for the above pumping machinery as per IS:6337:1971.

Providing double flanged CI sluice valve PN-1 of Leader/BHEL/ Kirlosker / GLED/Kilburn /Fourses /Kartar make and equal to dia of suction pipe and capable of withstanding the normal seat pressure as per IS:780:1984 with up to date amnmendments)

Providing double flanged cast steel sluice valve, ASA-600 of Leader/BHEL/ Kirlosker/Kilburn /GLEd/Fourses make and one step higher then delivery line of pump and capable of withstanding normal seat pressure as per BIS standards with upto date amnmendments)

Providing double flanged swing type cast steel valve, ASA-600 of Leader/BHEL/ Kirlosker/Kilburn /GLEd/Fourses make and having bye pass arrangements of one step higher then delivery line of pump and capable of withstanding normal seat pressure as per BIS standards with upto date amnmendments)

Providing 100mm dia circular dial analog pressure gauge of suitable range of Fiebig /Bourden/ PREGA/precision make complete with all accessories such as stop cock, copper tubing etc.as per IS: 3624-1987 with upto date ammendments.

Providing discharge meter of standard make to be fixed on the rising main in pump house as per the directions of the Engineer in charge as per Is:2373:1981 with upto date ammendments

Providing and fixing double flanged MS/GI piping work (Layout to be approved by the Engineer in charge) for suction and delivery pipes suitable to pump(s) offered and common header as per the R/Main respectively complete with all specials such as bends, tees, reducers. Increasers with companions flanges matching with the relevant specifications of the accessories including rubber/asbestos gasket of minimum 3mm thckness as per IS:2712:1979 and required number of nuts and bolts as per Is:1364:1983, The Pipes fittings and joints shall be as per relevant IS code & to withstand 1.5 times total head stipulated under item No.12. The size of the various components to be as under: a) Suction pipe : One dia higher then the suction of pump offered and suitable to keep the velocity of flow from 1 to 1.5 M/second in the suction pipe

b) Delivery pipe: One dia higher then the delivery of the pump offered and suitable to keep the velocity of flow from 1.5 to 2M/second in the delivery pipe

c) Common header : One dia higher then delivery of pump x 65 mm dia and will extend upto 5 meters from the outer wall of the pump house in the direction to be jointed.

Providing and laying copper PVC insulated arsoured power cable (One cable carrying all the three phases) of suitable size and capacity to motors and all other electircal equipments as per IS:1554(P-I) 1988 or latest ith upto date ammendments of siemens/GLOSTER /IEC/ICC/EICO/NATIONAL/GRANDLAY make including all other accessories such as thinbles, flexible pipes,solders,nuts and bolts cable glands etc. laid in pipes or trenches under floor. (a) Motor side (From switch to starter and starter to motor)

(b) Supply side (From Meter of HPSEB to bus bar and switch)

Providing and fixing double loop earthing with copper plate 600mmx600x3mm thick electrode complete with material such thimbles nuts and charcoal and common salt, 25mmx5mm copper strips as per IS:3043:1987 with upto date ammendments for motors and other electrical equipments and digging of pits etc. complete in all respect.

Providing , laying, fixing, jointing and testing in trenches MS pipe of following dia meters confirming to confirming to BIS 3183-2007, of following grade and having wall thickness as specified below with plain end and capable of withstanding required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube, providing and welding of MS flanges detailed as below. The MS flanges shall confirm to BIS 6392-1971 (with latest up to date amendments) duly welded in two layers (two inner and two outer) with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards along with nuts and bolts of required sizes, 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets confirming to relevant BIS standards. The laying of pipe will include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS standards and the damaged portion of the pipes and specials made form the parent tube shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978.
