CLEANING OF VEGETATION SHOULDERS OF RUNWAY TAXI TRACK/DISPERSAL AREA AND MANUAL LABOUR FOR GRASS CUTTING (WHERE JUNGLE JIM ARE NOT POSSIBLE) AND CLEANING / DESLUDGING WITH CLEANING OF VEGETATION, BUSHES AND MAINTAINING OF STORM WATER DRAIN AT THE SID

Cleaning of monsoon drain on either side of runway/taxi track/dispersal drain not exc 1.5m deep and bottom width 40 to 50 cm by removing of deposited soft / loose soil and other foreign materials average depth not exc 20 cm deep and removal of debries and other foreign materials to a distance exc 250m but n. exc 500m complete all as specified and directed.

Deployment of T &P and labour for grass cutting by manually or mechanically (Bush Cutter) on the both side of runway / PTT as per requirement basis and timing as directed, complete including taking out all necessary grass shurbs saplings wild bushes and any type of vegetation and removing out of runway boundry without damaging the shoulder of runways and other places complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Deployment of man power and machinery etc for mechanised cleaning of vegetation and grass ploughing in any type old sand filled in soft ground arrester with disc plough mechanically operated with average depth of 30cm running the plough in long and traverse direction and cleaning away of all grass/vegetable spoils, shrubs under growth roots and removing rubbish including hard objects etc. from the surface to a distance exc 150 metre but not exc 500 metre all as specified nd as directed. Note:- (i) The work shall be executed around runway/ taxi track and link road of runways. (ii) Daily Log Sheet /Log Book alongwith certificate as per Appendix 'A' to Particular specification to be maintained duly signed by contractor, user, JE and Engr-in-Charge. (iii) The availability of runway for the work shall depends based on the operational requirement. Contractor shall deemd to qoute rates accordingly and make suitable arrangments of labour and T&P for the work in night hours.
