Earth work in bulk excavation by manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth , 1.5 mtr in width as well as, 10 sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 mtr and lift upto 1.5 mtr as directed by Engineer incharge 80% all kinds of soil & 20% ordinary rock Note :- Extra for in or under water and / or liquid mud including pumping out water as required, shall be paid @ 20% of the quoted rate of the item per metre depth. the extra percentage rate is applicable in respect of each item but limited to quantities of work executed in these conditions. The unit namely metre depth, to be considered for payment, shall be the depth measured from the subsoil water level upto the centre of gravity of the quantity executed in difficult conditions. The depth shall be reckoned correct to 0.1 metre, 0.05 metre or more shall be taken as 0.1 metre and less than 0.5 metre ignored

Filling available excavated earth (excl. rock) in trenches, plinth sides of foundation etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm depth,consolidation each deposited layer by raming and watering, lead upto 50 mtr and lift upto 1.5 mtr
