REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF LT NETWORK, UG CABLES, OH LINES, LT PANELS, AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS OF ANARWALA UNDER AGE E/M-II OF GE DEHRADUN

DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exc. 1.5 mtr wide and not exc. 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of cable, foundation etc and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning & covering of UG cable using crushed metal sand in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - Punned thickness shall be measurement & paid.

Material and labour for sub class B bricks well burnt of size 23 x 11.5 x 7.5 cm for protection of UG cable laid dry flat over the cable width wise across the length of the cable and abutting each other with gap less than 10mm between the adjacent bricks in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated soil to a distance n exc 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cutting existing road/ hardstanding of any type by using crow bar chisel upto a depth of 60 cm for laying HDPE/ GI pipe upto 100 mm including making good the surface by returning, filling, watering, ramming in layers of 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 over 200 mm thick hard core of broken bricks/stones over returning filling watering ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations and mass concrete for foundations of poles etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for coping of poles including necessary from work for finishing exposed faces of concrete smooth and even using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out carefully LT cable of any size from 10 sqmm to 300 sqmm or of any type or make from ground/ poles/ pipes etc and testing for serviceability and laying the same serviceable LT cables under ground/ on poles/ through pipes etc at same or any other location and testing after connections complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Item to be measured only when cable is found serviceble for reuse. (b) Necessary excavation, sand cushioning, cable protection covers, returning, removal etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.
