PROVN OF NEW MECHANISED SYSTEM AND IMPROVEMENT IN HANGER DOOR AT CERTIN HANGER AT AF STATION CHANDIGARH UNDER GE (AF) CHANDIGARH

Note :The unit rate quoted by the tenderer under Col No (13) of Sch `A’ (BOQ) unless specifically mentioned otherwise such as labour only/fixing only, for all items of works shall be deemed to be including cost of all materials, labour, tools and plants, testing and commissioning of work in position complete as required for entire completion of work.

Provide new top roller wheel assembly with 2Z maintenance free ball bearings as in replacment of old unservicable roller, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Provode new bottom roller wheel assembly with 2Z maintenance free ball bearings as in replacment of old unservicable roller, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete conforming Fe-290 Gde E-165 in and including dismantling of existing steel ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Rolled sections as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where onnected to common rafters and running rails and guides for hanger door/sliding doors; fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates as required conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 in and including dismantling of existing steel ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Pre-colour coated high tensile strength galvalume corrugated sheet roofing with yield strength (550 MPA) prepainted with aluminium (55%) and zinc (45%) alloy coating applied through continous hot dip process having total coated thickness (TCT) of 0.50mm with minimum coating mass on both sides @ 150gms/sqm in length and width as per site condition fixed with complete acessories as per manufacturer's instructions through specialist agency and as per profile and shade as approved by GE in and including dismantling plain or corrugated steel /fibre sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern hanger door and making good the disturbed surfaces of wall/other surfaces etc ,complete all as specified and as drected by Engr-in-Charge.

Discoonecting old unserviceable motorised system comprising of motors, reduction geras, chains etc of any type/size and removing from site incl depositing at MES store yard ,complete all as specified and as drected by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Old unserviceable motorised system comprising of motors, reduction geras, chains etc shall be taken on Charge through proper receivt voucher by the concerned Sub division .

Motor Gear assembly 5 HP with other attachments such as manual drive system, ideler braking system, chain wheel drive mechanism, control panel, all cables, conduits, limit switches, hooter cum flasher, festoon rope wire assembly, buffer stopper, metal cleat at top guide to protect from falling of door leaf, auto wire brush bottom track cleaner, chain wheel drive mechanism motorization system, variable speed drive (VSD), auto limit power cut, emergency power cut, weather proof control panel with auto overload protection for motors, LED push button switches for Forward - Reverse - Stop function, other protections and safety measures to maintain speed of door 6 to 8 mtr per min ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge .

Supply, installation, connecting, testing and commissioning of Control panel board for motorised hangar doors (CPRI Approved) of suitable size factory made, compartment type, dust and vermin proof (IP-55) duly powder coated indoor type suitable for 1100 volts grade, 3 phase, 4 wire supply, floor mounted fabricated out 3.15 mm CRCA Sheet on 50mm X 50mm X 6mm angle iron frame, angle iron 50 x 50 x 5mm legs 04 Nos of 600 mm long for grouting in floor with cement concrete PCC foundation of suitable size in 1:2:4 and double door type inclusive locking arrangement & two coat of supper enameled first grade quality over red oxide primer with provision of all incoming/outgoing cable entries along with suitable size of double compression type cable gland for incomming & out going cable in and including taking down of old existing control panel,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge and comprising the following:- (a) LT bus bar aluminum TPN 300 Amps,4 strips,duly sleeved with relevant colored insulation heavy duly mounted on insulators=1Set Incomer: (b) MCCB AC, 4 pole, 160 Amps,25 KA, 50 Hz, 415 Volts with adjustable thermal & magnetic setting= 01 No. Outgoing: (c) Hangar gate operation motor connections for 3 phase 5 HP delta connected motor = 06 Nos (d) Hangar gate operation limit switch connections for forward and reverse motion of the gates = 12 Nos. (e) Three phase 440 volts/single phase 240 volts Power contactors, timers, relays, PCB, MCBs SP/TP/FP, terminal blocks for making connections all as per OEM,s specifications and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Supply, laynig , connecting and testing of PVC insulated round flexible cable 1100 volts grade heavy duty with stranded copper conductor 3 core 6 sqmm complete from control panel to door gate operation motor terminal in and including disconnecting and taking out the existing unservicable cable ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note : Laying of cables is to be done from conrol panel installed inside the bldg and motors are fixed on the bottom of the gate. Gate hight is appx 20 mtr and length is appx 12 mtr. Gate will move appx 12 mtr in forward and reverse direction for closing/opening. On the top of the gate cable will run on reels supported with steel wire rope. The entire cost of errection/laying of cables incl hiring of hydra machine / expert technicians, safety precautions, supporting reels etc shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. Nothing extra shll be admissible on this account

Supply, laynig , connecting and testing of PVC insulated round flexible cable 1100 volts grade heavy duty with stranded copper conductor 2 core 0.75 sqmm complete from control panel to door gate operation motor terminal in and including disconnecting and taking out the existing unservicable cable ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note : Laying of cables is to be done from conrol panel installed inside the bldg and up to limit switches fixed on both ends of the top of the gate railing for controlling forward/reverse motion of the gates. Gate hight is appx 20 mtr and length is appx 12 mtr. Gate will move appx 12 mtr in forward and reverse direction for closing/opening. On the top of the gate cable will run on reels supported with steel wire rope. The entire cost of errection/laying of cables including of hydra machine/expert technicians, safety precautions, suppring reels etc will be deemed to included in the unit rate quoted.Nothing extra shll be admissible on this account

Steel wire rope multistranded 6/19 centre fibre core, 10 to 12 mm dia as in replacment of old unservicable rope ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note - Fixing of steel wire rope is to be done on the top of the gate railing for supporting control cables for motor operation and forward/reverse motion of the gates. Gate hight is appx 20 mtr and length is appx 12 mtr. steel wire rope will be tightly stretched above the top of the gate in such a way that it's sag is not any obstacle in the forward/reverse motion of the gates . The entire cost of errection/ stretching of dteel wire ropes including hiring of hydra machine/expert technicians, safety precautions, supporting reels etc shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. Nothing extra shll be admissible on this account

Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 3.15mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, connected to copper earth lead strip 20mm x 3mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated and testing on completion as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, funnel, PCC chamber (1:3:6) type C-1, pit cover of precast RCC (1:1½:3) type A-1 using graded stone aggregate & reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4 kg/ sqm and frame, charcoal, salt including earth lead protected by 40mm dia medium grade GI pipe and 20mm dia medium grade GI Pipe for watering ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note:- Copper earth lead strip 20mm x 3mm and GI 40mm dia protection pipe upto 7.5 mtr length will be deemed to include in the unit rate quoted.

Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 20 x 3 mm size copper strip incl epoxy insulators for fixing on hangar walls/sheets ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.
