Clearing jungle including up rooting of rank vegetation grass bush wood trees and sapling of girth upto 30 cm. measured at a height of 1 m above ground level & removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 mt. outside the periphery of the area cleared. (if however, only grass is met with the area will be measured and paid for under item 4001).

Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator)/manual means in foundation pipeline trenches drain (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sq.m. on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50 m.

Demolishing cement concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix including disposal of material within 50 m lead.

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Providing & laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in:complete.a)All works upto plinth level

Centering and shuttering including struttings, propping etc. and removal of formwork for :c)Columns, Pillars ,piers, abutm-ents, posts and strut, square, rectangular, polygon in plan. etc.

Pre-cast cement concrete solid block masonry of compressive strength 70 kg / cm2 in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 corase sand ) in foundation and plinth size of blocks (30 x 20 x 15) in foundation and plinth

Constructionof Embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, breaking clods, spresding, watering, rolling by wooden or steel rammer including rolling top most layer with steel rammers & dressing up in embankment of roads, canals, marginal banks, & guide banks etc complete.

Earthwork in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm depth ( but exceeding 1.50 m width as well as 10 sq. m on plan ) including disposal of excavated earth beyond work site for all leads lift disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed in b) Hard soil

Providing and laying 6.00 cm thick canal lining of PCC 1:2:4 ( 1 cement : 2coarse sand : 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt of 20 mm nominal size ) with waterproofing compound of approved quality, including ramming consolidating curing and finishing the surface with 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand ) as specified and directed by the Engineer in charge.

Centering and shuttering including struttings, propping etc. and removal of form work for : a) Foundations, footings, bases for columns, and mass concrete.
