Excavation in earth work in hilly areas by mechanical means in all heights and depths, in all kinds of soils including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and levels as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Roads Clause 1603.1, 1603.2 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner in all leads & lifts, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases. The recovery of 36480.44 /- Cum @ 300/-Per Cubic meter amounting to Rs.10944132 /-only shall be done on prorate basis for the quantity of cutting in earth work effected.
Earth waork in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and technical specifications for Rural Roads January, 2014 clause 305. including setting out, construction of shoring, and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc.and to protect stability of hill side, rock shall be excavated with chiesling and wedging out rock (where blasting is probihited ) . If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagment water or water is met with in the excavation due to stream flow, seepage, rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion, bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public and private property during of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.
Providing, and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 ( one cement : four sand : eight crushed stone aggregate 40mm ( forty millimetre ) nominal size including curing complete and cost of form work in retaining wall, brest wall, parapets etc. as per drawing and HPPWD specification including carriage of material with in all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in –charge.
Providing concrete for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 802,803, 1202 and 1203 PCC grade M-10 nominal mix 1:3:6 (one cement : three coursed sand : six crushed stone aggregate) as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.
Providing concrete for plain cement concrete PCC M-20 1:2:4 (one cement : two coursed sand: four crushed stone agreegate) 20mm (twenty millimeter) nominal size in open founation complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge including curing complete and carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
Plain/reinforced cement concrete RCC Grade M-20 1:2:4 (one cement : two coursed sand: four crushed stone agreegate) 20mm (twenty millimeter) nominal size in sub structure as per drawings and technical specification clause 1206 as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge including curing complete and carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
