Operation and Maintenance Services to 10 MLD Water Treatment plant at Dowleswaram for a period of 12 months in RMC.

Operation and Maintenance of 10 MLD capacity water treatment plant with Rapid Gravity Filtration Process including raw water drawal from the river Godavari and treating the water as per standards given in CPHEEO manual for the quality of water and pumping to the ELSRs at Dowleswaram, Model Colony and Awa total 6No's of ELSRs and in 2 fillings aggregating to 10MLD of treated water including all consumables and cost of disinfection with liquid chlorine gas, testing the raw water, treated water, maintaining registers and log books and including all filter bed operators, Chemists, Electricians, Pump Operators, Watchmen for watch and ward to work in 3 shifts as per the CPHEEO standards and as per the instructions time to time given by the Engineers of Municipal Corporation, Rajamahendravaram with the following terms & conditions for a period of one year from the date of assigning the job through agreement

1) The bidder has to engage skilled persons with desired technical qualification and to engage and provide operating staff on 24 x 7 basis in all the 3 shifts. They have to be provided with EPF & ESI as per factories act./ prevailing labour Act. 2) The bidder has to keep all Chemicals and Consumables required for conducting necessary tests, for maintaining the standards as per C PH EEO and get the clear water checked with I PM authorities periodically minimum twice in a month. 3) The bidder has to operate and maintain the pumpsets both raw water, clear water, back wash, bridge operating motors, clarifier, alum dosing equipment etc. 4) The bidder should have experience in O&M of Rapid gravity filteration plants of 10MLD Capacity for a period of 1 year. 5) The bidder has to procure PAC/Alum etc. required for treating the raw water. sufficient reserve stock should be maintained. 6) The bidder has to maintain the residual chlorine at reservoirs so that the chlorine is available through out the contact period and till the water reaches the consumer. 7) The bidder should keep all assets and equipments of WTP intact and necessary registers, log books shall be maintained. 8) The bidder has to report the quality of water and quantity of water on daily basis through on line / SMS to the concerned department officers. 9) The out put is 10 MLD of treated and disinfected water is to be pumped to in two shifts and all connected ELSRs are filled up by 5 AM & 5 PM i.e., one hour before distribution. 10) The Existing Laboratory for which to be utilized for recording the PH Turbidity chlorine etc.,

The working staff : a) Electrician - 3 Nos, b) Chemist -3Nos c) Filter bed operators - 3Nos d) Helper to Filter bed operators - 3Nos e) Watchmen - 2 Nos to work in (3 Shifts) Per day Chemicals for treating raw water and for disinfected for one year: a) PAC - 70.20Tons b) Chlorine 10.80Tons minimum usage Miscellaneous works such as Chemicals for testing the parameters, bearings,Greesing for pumps, motors prescribed maintenance, maintaining registers etc. for one year. The contractor shall make payment not less than the minimum wages to all the workers as per labour laws in force General Condition: 1)The Clarifier Bridge must be Function in all days, desludging of clarifiers, sump to attended Regularly. 2)The Premises shall be kept Clean and Green. 3)Outsiders shall not be Allowed. 4)The Electrical Installations and Pipelines,Valves and pumpsets are to be maintained without fail and to be kept in good condition the major breakdowns information has to be intimated by written communication to department authorities immediately.
