Excavation in foundation and trenches etc.(in pipes and pits) in all kinds of soils such as pick work, jumper work, blasting in soft / hard rock, chiselling/wedging out of rock/where blasting prohibited) saturated soil stacking the excavated earth within all leads and lifts clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm layers when required into plinth sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed by the Engineer –in-charge.

Laying,jointing and testing GMS Pipes jointed with 5% joint flanged and remaining butt weld joint of below dia mtr i/c the cost of bends ) complete as per IS:1239-1990 (Part-I) , as per dimensions, weights and test pressures mentioned below in a random length of 4 to 7 meters. The Butt welded joints & MS Flanges are to be provided on each joint as per table given below conforming to IS:6392 - 1971 and welding of flanges with electrodes as per relevants codes including required number & size of nuts and bolts as per relevants codes and asbestos fibre jointing gasket sheet not less than 3mm thickness as per relevants codes . The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in three layers to make the joints leak proof and to entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipe should be conformed to IS:5822-1994. (Earth work in trenches, Flanged joints & Butt weld joints to be measured and paid for separately )

The welding of flanges should conform to IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364. including cost of gasket sheet nuts & bolts.
