Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means in all types of strata comprising any of the materials such as soil, sand, silt, clay, gravel, moorum of all varieties shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomarets ,laterite rock, soft rock, disintegrated or weathered rock, fissured shattered, decomposed rock, and such materials either in full or parts, as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as may be convenient or permitted including chiseling, wedging etc. but blasting prohibited in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged, foul conditions etc. including pumping or bailing out water/ dewatering including setting out constructed of shoring and bracing, removal of stump and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and back filling the excavated earth to the extent required and disposal of excavated soil/rock at specified areas within a 50m lead and with all lifts etc. as per specification & drawing and directed by Engineer-in -Charge etc. complete.

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Centering and shuttering including struttings, propping etc. and removal of formwork for : a) Foundations, footings, bases for columns and mass concrete.

Providing & laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggregate. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in: a) All works upto plinth level

Supplying jamba wooden bally piles 200mm mean diameter cut to a length required (not exceeding 9 meters) and planted in position ready for driving: a) Upto 2.5 meters long pile

Driving down wooden piles of 200mm diameter either in vertical or battered work to approved lines and level through various strata including arranging all the appliances necessary for pile complete at site (portion in ground only to be measured) a) Upto 2.5 meters long pile

Providing & laying of minimun 60mm thick factory made Shot blasted cement concrete Interlocking paver blocks of minimum M40 grade made by heavy duty block making machine with strong vibratory compaction and of approved size and design/ shape laid in 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with coarse sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer- incharge.
