REPAIR/MAINT OF STREET LIGHTS AND GARDEN LIGHTS, HIGH MASK LIGHTS, STREET LIGHT PANEL,STREET LIGHT CONTROLLER ETC AT DEAL UNDER GE (I) RND DEHRADUN.

Amount

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc. including removing cable protection covers/ bricks complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and brick protection. (ii) The excavation work may be carried out in short lengths for locating fault in under ground cables at different locations

M&L for Returning, filling in, including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming the excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing as directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for sand filling with clean dry fine sand unwashed including gently punning around cables in trenches/ducts for cable protection complete all as specified and directed (NOTE : Thickness after punning shall be measured for payment)

M&L for old size sub class `B` bricks, kiln burnt, as in cable protection laid flat with axis of brick perpendicular to the axis of the cable complete all as specified and directed .

Fixing / laying only old retrieved bricks of any description as obtained from dismantling of the cable complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Disconnecting and taking out old unserviceable GI pipe and Supplying, laying & jointing GI water tubing, 50 mm bore, light grade as in sleeving etc laid in trenches / pole post etc. complete all as specified and directed . Make of pipe TATA / Jindal / Swastik / Prakash / BST or any other ISI marked make approved by GE.

Disconnecting and taking out old existing unserviceable/ non- functional LT Cable of size 35 Sqmm 3.5 core of any description and in any position from trench/duct/pipe etc complete and Supply,laying, jointing & testing XLPE insulated PVC sheathed (heavy duty) armoured cable with aluminium conductor for working voltage upto 1100 volts of size 35 Sqmm 3.5 core .complete all as specified and directed. Make- Gloster/Havells/Polycab or equivalent.

Disconnecting and taking out old existing unserviceable/ non- functional LT Cable of size 16 Sqmm 4 core of any description and in any position from trench/duct/pipe etc complete and Supply,laying, jointing & testing XLPE insulated PVC sheathed (heavy duty) armoured cable with aluminium conductor for working voltage upto 1100 volts of size 25 Sqmm 4 core .complete all as specified and directed. Make- Gloster/Havells/Polycab or equivalent.

Disconnecting and taking out old existing unserviceable/ non- functional LT Cable of size 10 Sqmm 2 core of any description and in any position from trench/duct/pipe etc complete and Supply,laying, jointing & testing XLPE insulated PVC sheathed (heavy duty) armoured cable with aluminium conductor for working voltage upto 1100 volts of size 10 Sqmm 2 core .complete all as specified and directed. Make- Gloster/Havells/Polycab or equivalent.

Labour only for checking the serviceability of the different spares / components / parts of security light fittings/post top lantern light fittings (LED, flood light/focus light etc, any wattage/capacity) of any description and fixed in any position, replacement of un-serviceable/damaged/ broken part(s) either in single or in combination, re-assembling the fittings and making the light fittings serviceable, fixing the fittings in position, connecting to electric supply and its testing on installation complete all as specified and directed here in after in notes.

NOTES FOR SCH `A’ ITEM NO : 12 - (i) Replacement of parts i.e LED driver for Flood light/ LED/Focus light fittings any wattage & capacity, if any required at site, shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A' as ‘supply only. (ii) Necessary T&P i.e. ladder, tools etc required for checking and making the light fittings in serviceable conditions, its fixing in position and testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost for checking and fixing of street light fittings/security light fittings of any description on poles / on walls / on pillars etc i.e. in any position at site. (iii) Required screws, insulating tapes, internal wiring wire and other minor items excluding the required spares parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged & supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in above respective item. (iv) Contractor shall be paid only one time the labour charges quoted above in Schedule `A' items for a particular fitting repaired irrespective of the number of times labour and resources arranged by him to check the serviceability of the fittings and replacement of unserviceable / defective parts in order to maintain the fittings in serviceable/working condition. (v) Contractor’s quoted rates for Schedule `A' item No 3 is deemed to include for inspection/checking the serviceability of the fittings in position or by taking down as per site requirement, removing the damaged unserviceable / broken parts, fixing the new parts as required, fixing the fittings in same position or the other, connecting the fittings with electric source and testing of fittings as directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old existing unserviceable/ non- functional LT Cable of size 2.5 Sqmm 2 core of any description and in any position from poles/ trench/duct/pipe etc complete and Supplying, laying, jointing & testing XLPE insulated, PVC Innersheathed, (heavy duty) unarmoured cable,extruded PVC Type ST2 Sheathed, with copper conductor for working voltage upto 1100 volts having cross sectional area 2.5 Sqmm 2 core conforming to IS 7098 Part-I or IS 1554 Part-I. complete all as specified and directed. Make :- Havells/Anchor/Finolex

Taking down existing unserviceable bracket complete and S&F 32 mm dia GI light grade pipe 2.0 m long with bracket bent to shape by cutting & welding as required & directed and fixed to pole with two No,s of FI clamps 40x5 mm to be tightened with bolts, nut and washers and including painted with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Make of pipe TATA / Jindal / Swastik / Prakash / BST or any other ISI marked make approved by GE.

Disconnecting and taking out existing unserviceable light fitting of any description and in any position on poles and S&F 20W LED Post top lantern complete accessories to be fixed on pole/wall including connecting the fitting to control switch at the bottom of the pole with using 2.5 Sqmm two single core PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor copper conductor cable complete all as specified and directed . (Make-Crompton Cat NoLPTH-20-CDL or equivalent model of make Havells/C&S).

Taking down old unserviceable MS junction boxes from the pole with disconnectiong all connections, Supplying and fixing in position new Pole box made of thermoplastic Polycarbonate having IP65/IP66 degree of protection (shock proof, dust proof, jet water proof and acid resistive). The gasket should be internally embedded, and made of Polyeutherene. The boxes shall be tested as per IEC 60670-2/ 60670-22. The boxes shall have self threaded holes & provision for mounting din rail. The lid should be hinged type with sealing screw. The screw should be of stainless steel so that there is no corrosion. The boxes should withstand temperature of -40c to +120c. The glow wire test should be conducted at 960 c or 750 c and material should be flame retardant & self extinguishing. UL subject 94, V-0. The boxes should be free from toxic substances like hal ogen and silicon. The boxes should have suitable pre-moulded knock out /or plan wall depending on requirement. Box dimension shall not be less than 200 X 160 X98 MM (LXBXH). Box shall be suitable for 16/25Sqmm cables including one no. MCB SP 230 volts 6 amps of make Havells/Legrand/ABB and connecting the bus bars to cables with using suitable GI nut, bolts and washers and aluminum lugs etc fixed on pole using 30x5mm FI clamps,nuts,bolts & washers complete all as specified and directed. Make: Hensel/GE/Legrand.

M & L for cutting chases in hard standing road/path/drain etc for passing cables/pipes etc. size of cutting 100mm wide and 200mm deep and removing the excavated materials and disposal at 50 metre distance and making good the cutting after the pipe and cables are laid with PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old rusted unserviceable electrical pole and Supply and fix Steel Tubuler Swaged Pole complete with cast Iron base plate finial taper plug, bolts, niuts and screws as per type 410 Sp- 31, 9 mtr long complete with excavation and earth work all as directed by engineer in charge.

M&L for taking down existing unserviceable strucked cable any type or any size from the top of the from High mast, 16 mtr high by means of Ladders/machinery and Supply, fixing/ laying and testing PVC insulated sheathed , unarmoured 4 core 2.5 Sqmm stranded copper conductor, 1100 volt grade, cable for high mast lights wiring laid in/ under duct / in pipe / through pole all as specified and directed

Painting to Electric/Street poles, exposed surfaces of steel tubular street light poles with two coats of alumin ium paints including preparation of surfaces etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Material & labour for re-writing of Electric/Street light pole Nos on existing pole with stencil out with black colour including fixing red colour radium of 80mm hight around the radius of pole and all specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
