Opening of top cover of transformer of capacity 50 to 150 KVA and taking out transformer oil in a separate container after disconnecting of HT/LT side electric connections from both the primary & secondary side of the transformer of any type / description (indoor /outdoor type) installed on pole / floor, for carrying out necessary repair / rewinding to HT/LT side after shifting the transformer to contractor’s work shop including taking out complete core assembly, Meggar the defective winding portion & taking out, cleaning the laminated core and rewinding with copper winding wire / strips of existing gauge / size, including re-assembling & testing on completion & installation the same at its origin position, complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note:- (i). Note:- a. Copper winding wire / strip required for winding of coil shall be measured and paid separately supply only under respective item of BOQ.. (ii). Transportation, loading & unloading charges of transformer shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates. (iii). The cost for the dehydration of transformer oil if required shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. (iv). The cost of insulation material such as paper, cotton tape, latheriod sheet, cork sheet etc shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates.

Dehydration /filtration of transformer oil of existing transformers of capacity up to and above 40 KVA, installed at site with oil dehydration / filtration machine to improve the dielectric strength (not less than 40 KV at 2.5 mm air gap) of transformer oil including transportation of filtration machine at site etc. complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : (i) Test certificate shall be submitted before and after filtration for dielectric strength. (ii) Oil dehydration / filtration machine & other requisite equipments shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

Supply and fix in replacement rubber seal/gland on HT/LT studs of transformer complete all as directed.

Cutting /Trimming the tree branches of any size touching /embracing the OH line of HT up to 1.50 m on both side of the over head line including collecting & depositing the retrieved timber at a place directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) Distance between two poles shall be measured as one span. (ii) The contractor ensure that there must be no damage to HT conductor / poles because of falling of tree’s branches. If any damage occur due to this, the same shall be repaired by the contractor at his own cost without any extra cost to the Govt. (iii) Contractor will fully responsible for any type of miss happening / accident (If any) happened during trimming of trees. (iv) Contractor’s will take proper shut down from MES installation before starting such type of work and clear it before resuming power supply.

M&L for applying two coats of black bituminous paint on old surfaces of wood, steel, iron, concrete, brick, stone, etc., after preparation of surfaces exceeding 10cm in width or girth, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brush wood undergrowth roots and trees not exceeding 30 CM girth (measured one metre above ground level) and removing rubbish up to a distance 50.00 m outside the periphery of the area under clearance as in soft / loose soil and getting out including sprinkling anti vegetation chemical in complete area with spray machine, complete all as directed

M&L for hardcore of broken stone or boulders gauge of 40mm to 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15cm thick complete all as specified & directed

S&F 2nd class softwood, clean sawn boards or planks 40mm thick, width n exc. 25 cm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning with layer of sand 8cm thick before laying of cable and 15cm after laying of cable in trenches as in sand cushioning to underground cable, complete all as specified and directed

Taking out old unserviceable underground cable from trenches / floor / road / wall / pipe / pole etc. of size 120 sqmm, 3 core complete all as specified & directed

M&L for preparing to old painted surfaces of transformer 11/0.433 KV outdoor/indoor/pole mounting of capacity 50 to 400 KVA after preparation of old painted surfaces by removing old paint by scratching with wire brush etc, after disconnecting HT/LT side connection from both primary and secondary side of transformer and apply two coats of synthetic enamel paint of grey colour with spray machine on outer body of the transformer and writing of letter HT/LT & SM / MES Nos. and making all HT/LT electric connections, complete all as directed by Engineer - in - charge. Note:- Compressor, spray machine and other necessary required equipment / T&P shall be arrange by the contractor at his own cost and no extra cost on this account shall be paid to the contractor.

M&L for cleaning & preparation of old painted surface of HT steel tubular pole complete and applying one coat of aluminium synthetic enamel paint including channels / brackets, street light brackets, cross arms and making black & white strips with yellow synthetic enamelled paint of 30cm height each alternative strip up to 1.5 m height and writing pole numbers with yellow synthetic enamelled paint after making circular base with black synthetic enamelled paint with and including applying two coats of white wash on PCC coping complete all as specified and directed

M&L for cleaning & preparation of old painted surface of HT two pole structure complete and applying one coat of aluminium synthetic enamel paint including channels / brackets, street light brackets, cross arms and making black & white strips with yellow synthetic enamelled paint of 30cm height each alternative strip up to 1.5 m height and writing pole numbers with yellow synthetic enamelled paint after making circular base with black synthetic enamelled paint with and including applying two coats of white wash on PCC coping complete all as specified and directed

M&L for cleaning & preparation of old painted surface of HT four pole structure complete and applying one coat of aluminium synthetic enamel paint including channels / brackets, street light brackets, cross arms and making black & white strips with yellow synthetic enamelled paint of 30cm height each alternative strip up to 1.5 m height and writing pole numbers with yellow synthetic enamelled paint after making circular base with black synthetic enamelled paint with and including applying two coats of white wash on PCC coping complete all as specified and directed

M & L for repair / servicing of existing Gang Operated Device including replacing the defective parts and applying mineral Jelly, oil, grease after proper removal of carbon deposits, re-fixing of Switch Air Break Gang operated for triple pole, mechanically operated, mounted on isolators and steel frame with operating mechanism works from Ground level, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The cost of new spare parts required for smooth functioning of GOD shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates.

Supply and fixing in replacement pin type porcelain , vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150 mm height and 150 mm dia suitable for working pressure 11000 Volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacing existing unserviceable silica gel with new crystal clean silica gel in breather assembly of transformers, complete all as specified and directed

M & L for repair existing servicing of drop out fuse including replacing the defective parts and applying mineral Jelly, oil, grease after proper removal of carbon deposits, re-fixing the same after repair, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The cost of new spare parts required for smooth functioning of drop out fuse shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates.

M & L for in replacement of existing worn out jumper structure with new aluminium jumper (any type of conductor) (not less than 2.00 m) with new aluminium clamp including bolts, nuts & washers complete all as directed

S&F in replacement of Air break gang operated triple pole, mechanically operated, mounted on HT insulators and galvanised steel frame with operating rod of 25 mm dia medium grade GI pipe suitable for operation while standing on ground for current rating 200 Amps suitable for 11000 volt , 50 HZ, including supply of 12 Nos. insulator of appropriate size and drop out fuse carrier element, complete all as specified and directed

M& L for cutting of floor / wall / road / footpath up to the required depth for removal / taking out for checking of serviceability HT underground cable of any size / description and making good the same as per existing specification after relaying the same or new cable complete all as directed

M&L for complete maintenance & overhauling of 33 KV existing VCB of make any make / type / mode / capacity including dismantling of operating mechanism parts, well cleaning with petrol & CRC-226 and replacing unserviceable spare parts, reassembling of parts including well cleaning the complete panel board, main bus bar, de-carbonizing of all joints, bus bars, CTs, PTs, spouts metal parts and making VCB perfect operational in manual & remote mode, calibration & checking of tripping system of 33 KV circuit breaker through IDMT over current and earth fault relay at plug setting infented in service by primary current injection method to ensure proper function of trip coil control circuit etc. During fault condition, setting to be done by expert from authorised agency of state electricity board including submission of calibration certificate, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Minor spare parts required for smooth functioning of VCB shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates.

Supply and fixing, testing, commissioning of electro mech. under & over voltage protection relay 11 KV of existing make with and including necessary wiring etc complete all as directed. Supplying and laying factory made un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, type 1 with peak, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, laid dry flat across the cable with length of whole PCC cover, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick burried in ground vertically to a depth ot less than 2.25 mtr below the ground level eith top edge of the earth plate surrounded 15cm thick layers of common salt charcoal dust starting from ground below 15 cm of earth plate upto 15 cm above the same. GI plate connected with galvanised steel of size 32x6 mm by means of GI nuts,bolts and washers, strips laid in 40 mm dia light grade GI pipe as protection from top of the up to test point (cost of protection pipr up to 7.5 mtr from earth electrode will be included in the rates quoted by the contractor) with following :-(a) Test point GI strip of size 32 mm x 6mm. (b) watering pipe GI light grade 20mm dia from top of the earth electrode up to MS funnel with wire mesh embeded in floor of PCC earth pit (GI funnel should properly tightned on GI waterning pipe and embeded in PCC floor of earth pit with open top suitable for watering of earth pits).(c) Earth pit 30x30 cm constructed in PCC 1:2:4 type BI exposed surfaces finished even and smooth with 15 mm thick cement mortor 1:6 including RCC pit cover 25mm thick with 2 Nos MS hadles of 10 mm dia suitable for carying of pit cover.(d) Angle iron frame made of 40 x40x4 mm angle iron for 300x300 mm PCC pit complete all as specified and directed. (b) PCC (1:3:6), type C-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation. (c) Taking down existing unserviceable stay assembly and removing from site.

Supply and fixing in replacement steel tubular electric pole, swaged type, welded type, 410 SP-55 (11 meter long) in true vertical position, complete with CI base plate, pole cap, bolts, nuts & screws all as specified with and including the following:- (i) Excavation in post hole not exceeding 1.5 Mtr wide & 2 Mtr deep for pole foundation & getting out in hard / dense soil, returning, filling in the excavated soil after fixing the pole in foundation, ramming earth around in layers n.exc 25 cm thick and disposal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 meters. (ii) M&L for providing PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 ( using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) in base of pole of size 600mm x 600mm x 150 mm all as specified and directed. (iii) M&L for providing PCC 1:3:6, type C2 ( using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation 600mm x 600mm x 1800 mm (sub base as mass concrete) for concrete encasing the pole up to GL all as specified and directed.
