Construction of R.C.C Intake Chamber in concrete mix of M-25 grade at water source with proper Inlet, outlet arrangement of adequate size as per proper Design & drawing complete in all respect i/c cost of excavation and development of site to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing, installation, testing and commissioning of Water Treatment Plant of 0.50MLD Capcity in the shape of Rapid sand filters including cost of site development to adjust hydraulic levels as per site contour plan and structural requirements, cost of construction of civil works, hoisting and errection of all steel works, providing and installation of all Mechanical & Electrical equipments/accessories, laying of all interconnecting GI/MSERW pipes and scouring arragements from all units with disposal of the same to appropriate point of Khad, all types of valves, fittings and all contingent works at Ickoo Khad capable of treating raw water to the standards as laid down in CPHEEO Manual under all climatic conditions specified therein. The treatment plant shall include C/O Inlet chamber, Parashal flume, pre-sedimentation tank, hydraulic flocculator, flash mixing unit, setteling tank, rapid sand filters, pipe gallery, raw water 176000 ltr capacity and clear water tanks 525000 ltr capacity, lime & alum solution tanks with dozer, plant building comprising space for water testing lab with equipments, office room, stoarge for chemicals & other consumables,drainage channels, interconnecting paths (min.1.20m wide), proper walk way (0.90m wide) including both side railing over various units for Inspection/ operation, chemical handling and feeding arrangements, gaseous chlorination unit, back wash unit with pumping sets & air compressors including arrangements for disposal of waste of water treatment plant process, providing and fixing of lighting arrangements (Sodium vapour lamps 150W) made in the boundry limit of plant area,Providing and setting up of all laboratory equipments etc. The sizes of all units shall be based on guidelines of manual on water supply and treatment published by CPHEEO, Ministry of Urban development (GOI) New Delhi. The design of various units shall conform to relevant Codes and specifications. All the hydraulic stuctuctures shall be designed and constructed in RCC of M-30 concrete grade. (For detailed specification refer as per chapter No. 1 & data sheet No. 1.)
Construction of RCC framed structure Pump House 51 sqm. in M-25 concrete grade (as per proper Design & Drawing) complete in all respect with the accommdation for office room, attendent room, automation room, transformer room, Toilet, chowkidar quarter, Panel Boards etc. i/c the provision of Gantry girder of min.1.5 T capacity, 500 mm dia C.I.Man Hole cover & frame ( Medium duty),CGI sheet roofing, Doors & windows, chequered tile flooring, all type of internal and external electrical wiring, water supply and sanitary fitting and other allied items.The clear height of gantry girder shall be 4.20 mtrs. above floor level and head room, above gentry shall not be less than 1.00 mtrs. The thickness of prepainted sheet for roofing shall not be less than 0.60 mm. The Doors & shutters (other than main opening which is with rolling shutters) shall be of aluminium. The outer doors & Window shall be in double shutters and aluminium grills for windows & internal wiring shall be in PVC conduit.The work shall . All work shall conform to relevent IS code and to the entire satisfection of the Engineer in Charge. (For detailed specification refer as per chapter No. 1 & data sheet No. 3.)
Construction of RCC Circular Under ground/Over head storage tanks in M-30 concrete grade (as per proper Design & drawing) of following capacities, at following locations including provision of GI / MSERW pipes with flanged joints for inlet, outlet, scour and over flow complete with all fittings such as Tees, Bends, Tail pieces, flanges, pipes and valves of appropriate size and subject to approval of the Engineer-in-Charge. The over flow pipe shall be connected with any suitable delivery pipe. Cost of materials & cariage of materials within all leads and lifts including cost of excavation and developement of site. Providing horizontal spindle casing/end and suction (back pull out arrangement) single/double/multistage stage centrifugal pump or combination of pumps in series or parallel of recommended make such as Mather and Platt / KSB / Kirloskar / Crompton /Becon Weir / BE / Jyoti/Grundfos as per BIS 1520-1980 with up to date amendments read with 9137-1978 or latest addition & suitable to lift clear/treated water 1.96 LPS to a total head of 220.45 mts (for each pump) with bronze impellers / priming funnels casing rings and shaft sleeves of bronze, shaft of steel grade EN-8 with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a common mild Steel base plate (base plate to be from the manufacturer of the pumping unit only) to squirrel cage /slipring screen protected drip proof induction motor of standard make such as Kirloskar / crpmpton / BHEL/ NGEF / GEC / Siemens / Jyoti /ABB suitable for operation on 400(+/-) 10% volts, 50 cycles/ second ,3 phase AC electric Supply . The power of electric motor should be at least 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 15% of the duty point head. The motor should be as per IS: 325-1978 with up to date amendments. The pumping machinery shall be installed on a proper designed base plate. The foundation of the machinery should be proper designed and anchored properly .All electrical equipments such as starter, ICTP switches, MCB, Bus bar chamber, ELCB ,Panel board ,Indicating Lamps , Amp Meter, Volt meter ,Hour run meter, including incoming and outgoing cables should be of ISI marked The suction, delivery and common header piping , bye pass piping relevant to pump house sizes including concentric-eccentric nozzles Y-T connections , flange gaskets, suction strainer , sluice valve, non return valve/valves on suction piping delivery , piping on header piping out side pump house and on bye pass piping and suitable type check valves on delivery piping as per required pressure gauge , with two way cock , ultrasonic type flow measuring instruments with digital flow indicating and integrating device etc. complete in all respects . (For detailed specification refer as per chapter No. 3 & data sheet No. 6.)
Construction of Pump foundation of RCC construction (M-25) as per proper design for installing the pumping machinery complete in all respect. (For detailed specification refer as per chapter No. 4 & data sheet No. 7.)
Excavation in foundation and trenches (for pipes and pits) up to all depths and in all classification of earth work such as Pick work, Jumper work, chiselling or wedging out of soft and hard rock as blasting is prohibited, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, levelling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting , planking, timbering and dewatering where ever required. Stacking usable and unusable material /soil seperataly and after laying, jointing and testing of pipes (for pipes, Pipe duct, chambers, x-sings etc.), returning the usable soil in 15cm layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/ unusable material as directed within all leads/ lifts including restoration of unmetalled surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion for traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
Laying, jointing & testing of GMS pipe (plain ended pipe) with circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding with minimum two layers capable to withstand required test pressure (minimum welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers/ tapers, all short pieces, bends of required degrees as per site requirement made from parent tubes. The laying of pipe shall also include intermediate flanged joints spaced at an interval of 15 pipe lengths or where ever required as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge duly welded in three layers (two for outer & one on inner side) and all other operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc , lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects & to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge (Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing flanges i/c nut & bolts, gasket will be measured and paid for separately).The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The damaged portion of the pipes and all the specials ( If damaged during laying & jointing operation of pipe) made form the parent tube shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing, D.P. test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.
