SCHEDULE 'A'

Surface excavation n exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out hard/dense soil

M&L hardcore of broken stone or boulders , gauge not 63 mm deposited spread and levelled in layers n exc 15 cm thick watered and rolled /rammed to a true surface all as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 in foundations, fillings and mass-concrete, sub base of floor

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand;

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete.

M&L preparing new concrete surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic emnamel paint over one coat of primer

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m and making good disturbed surfaces.

M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in foundations, filling and mass concrete.

S&F mild steel work such as angle iron in posts & struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc., flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc) including 10mm dia MS round bars as in tie bars fixed to fencing posts including necessary welding where required as per site requirement and other similar works complete, conforming to Gde E-165 (Fe 290).

M&L Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, length of bolt exc 5cm but n exc 10cm long Dia meter of Shank 5 to 10 mm

M&L preparation of new steel surfaces of any description not exc 10 cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified

All initial levels and final levels of earth work shall be taken and recorded by DGPS /Auto level/Total station system as recommended and all earthwork calculations shall be made computerised with graphical details as directed by Engr-in-charge. 2. Soil to be removed through powred /mechanical lorry/ tractors and to be placed in loc where directed by Engr-in-Charge and rolled/ consolidating by 8-12 tonne power road rollers 3. All precautionery measured to be adopted at the time of execution and removal of work.
