PIPING WORKS (IP-1A (EXISTING SV-02))
FABRICATION, ERECTION, INSTALLATION AND TESTING OF PIPING
Receiving and taking over of all Owner supplied materials from Owner's designated place(s) of issue, transportation including loading, unloading, handling from Owner's designated place(s) of issue to Contractor's own stock yard(s)/ work site(s)/ work shop(s) including arranging all necessary intermediate storage area(s) thereof, as required; supply of all materials (except those specified subsequently in SOR/ Free issued from Owner), equipment, consumables as defined in Contractor's scope of supply and their transportation to the work site(s); performing all above ground/ buried piping fabrication works including cutting, edge preparation (inclusive of grinding the edges of pipes, fittings, flanges etc. to match with the matching edges of uneven/ different thickness wherever required), fit up, bending, pre-heating wherever required, welding, threading etc.; erection of pipes of all types and thickness over sleepers, overhead on racks and at all elevations; hook-up with equipment nozzles; all types of inline and online instruments such as pressure/ thermal safety valves (other than those covered separately), fittings of all sizes i.e. Flow tees, Insulating Joints, LR bends, pig signallers, elbows, reducers, tees, 'o' lets, flanges, blind flanges, spectacle blinds, tapping's for pressure gauges, thermowells, hoses and hose couplings of all sizes, if applicable, vents and drains required for process and hydrotesting purposes etc. including fixing of all types of gaskets (including gaskets for RTJ flanges), bolts, studs and nuts of all sizes; carrying out non-destructive testing (excluding radiography covered subsequently in SOR) such as magnetic particle/ liquid penetration etc. as required; hook-up with existing piping/ pipeline installed as per drawings wherever required & applicable; cleaning and flushing by water/ compressed air, carrying out hydrostatic test, pneumatic test, valve functional test and any other type of testing as specified, de-pressurising, dewatering, drying by compressed air if applicable; cutting/ rebeveling (as required), pre-commissioning and providing commissioning assistance to Commissioning Contractor/ Agency for process piping and commissioning of non-process piping if applicable; clean-up and restoration of site, preparation of as built drawings, documents and project records; transportation of surplus free issue materials to Owner's designated place(s); completing all works in all respects as per the AFC drawings, specifications, standards and other provisions of Contract and instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. RADIOGRAPHY

Contractor to submit DPR, Inspection Report along with Radiography Report to Engineer-in-Charge. Note : a) All NDT including Radiography, MPT, LPT for 2" and below are covered under this SOR item. All works for leak/ burst (occurring during hydrostatic testing) including necessary repair/ replacement of defective pipe length, including cutting and removing out defective pipes, welding, NDT of welds, repair and re-testing of defective welds, painting of welded joints, clean-up, re-hydro testing of the pipe segment including providing all necessary equipment's, labour, materials, consumables and inputs other than Owner supplied materials and performing all works as per drawings, specifications enclosed with the Contract and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: This rate shall be applicable for manufacturing defects in Company supplied materials only.
HOOK UP WITH EXISTING FACILITIES AT DISPATCH TERMINAL, MADHUBAN (DULIAJAN)
Complete work for hook-up of proposed piping with existing Piping/ Pipeline including cutting, bevelling, nitrogen purging by cylinder to the specified acceptance criteria before cold cutting, welding and providing manpower assistance during the complete duration of the job including supply of all equipment, tools and tackles, consumables etc. as per the relevant specification, other provisions of contract documents and instruction of Engineer-In-charge. Note: Supply of nitrogen Cylinder (atleast 2 Nos. of nitrogen cylinder at each Hook-Up), Regulator, fitting, hoses etc. and all other material required to complete the job in all aspects are in the scope of contractor.

INSTALLATION OF METER
Transportation of all the equipment's along with all accessories supplied by supplier etc. from owner's storage point/ designated location to work site including loading and unloading, erection of all equipment's including layout marking at site, fabrication and installation of shims including cutting and grinding, installation and levelling of base plates, assembly of sub-assemblies, bolting, fitting of all interconnected piping items (supplied by equipment supplier), shifting and reconfiguration of spreader beams, installation of rigging apparatus for erection crane, alignment of equipment at all elevations as per drawings, removal, placing and shifting of stools and saddles including loading and unloading, installation of all mountings and accessories, all enabling work as required, and completing the work in all respects as per drawings, specification, codes and instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: a) Actual rate shall be paid to contractor based on actual weight of items. b) The item included repair of painting of equipment and one coat final paint as per normal corrosive environment.

Note: Work shall include hook up with existing piping.
CUTTING, BEVELING AND EDGE PREPARATION OF PIPING (OPTIONAL ITEM)
Work involves Cutting, grinding of Under Ground/ above ground piping/ Insulating JointJ/ fittings /Flanges including bevelling and edge preparation of existing piping ends and also for new pipes and reusable Insulating Joint/ Flange/ Fittings as per tender specification & instruction of EIC. Providing all requisite equipment, labour, supervision, materials, films, consumables, all facilities & personnel to process, develop, examine & other tests as required as mentioned in SCC and particular job specifications. Note:- (1) The bevel ends of all butt weld fittings shall undergo 100% MP/ DP test. (2) This item shall be operated under specific instructions of EIC.

Earth Work in Excavation (refer specification no. C-SPC-103)
Earth work in EXCAVATION below ground level for all kinds of works in SOFT ROCK as classified in specification for a depth upto 1.5m including removal of vegetation, shrubs and debris, cutting and dressing of sides in slopes, levelling, grading and ramming of bottoms, dewatering of accumulated water from any source and keeping the surface dry for subsequent works and disposal or stacking of excavated material within a lead of 100m, as directed including providing temporary supports to existing service lines like water pipes, sewage pipes, electric overhead and underground cables etc. all complete, but excluding shoring and strutting.
BACKFILLING after execution of the WORK to proper grade and level by excavating the suitable approved quality of soil from BORROW AREAS arranged by CONTRACTOR for all leads, transporting the earth from borrow area including cleaning & stripping the earth at borrow areas, breaking clods, loading, unloading and laying at all depths and heights in layers of thickness not exceeding 15 cms., watering, rolling and ramming by manual methods/mechanical compactors to achieve 90% of the maximum laboratory dry density, dressing, trimming, levelling the top surface etc. in foundations, plinths, trenches etc. all complete.
Transporting and disposing the SURPLUS EARTH AND DEBRIS including shrubs and vegetations from construction area to areas ANYWHERE OUTSIDE THE PLANT BOUNDARY including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, transportation, loading, unloading, laying at all depths and heights, stacking, levelling and dressing both the area (viz. from where the earth is transported and where it is deposited) to required levels and slopes complete with all lifts as directed. For carting on the basis of truck measurements (volume of truck reduced by 30% for voids) DISPOSAL AREAS OUTSIDE PLANT BOUNDARY TO BE ARRANGED BY THE CONTRACTOR .Royalty as applicable for disposal outside plant limits to be borne by the contractor.
PLAIN & REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE (refer specification no. C-SPC-104)
Providing and laying PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE for all depths below and upto plinth level in foundations,drains, fillings, non-suspended floors, pavements & ramps or any other works etc. including shuttering, tamping, ramming, vibrating, curing etc. all as specified in any shape, position, thickness and finishing the top surface rough or smooth as specified and directed all complete for concrete of nominal mix 1:5:10 by mass (1 Cement: 5 Coarse Sand: 10 Crushed Stone Aggregates/Gravels) with 40mm and down size graded crushed stone aggaregates/Gravels.(ALL MATERIALS INCLUDING CEMENT SUPPLIED BY CONTRACTOR AT THEIR COST)

(ALL MATERIALS INCLUDING CEMENT SUPPLIED BY CONTRACTOR AT THEIR COST)

FABRICATION, ERECTION, INSTALLATION AND TESTING OF PIPING
Receiving and taking over of all Owner supplied materials from Owner's designated place(s) of issue, transportation including loading, unloading, handling from Owner's designated place(s) of issue to Contractor's own stock yard(s)/ work site(s)/ work shop(s) including arranging all necessary intermediate storage area(s) thereof, as required; supply of all materials (except those specified subsequently in SOR/ Free issued from Owner), equipment, consumables as defined in Contractor's scope of supply and their transportation to the work site(s); performing all above ground/ buried piping fabrication works including cutting, edge preparation (inclusive of grinding the edges of pipes, fittings, flanges etc. to match with the matching edges of uneven/ different thickness wherever required), fit up, bending, pre-heating wherever required, welding, threading etc.; erection of pipes of all types and thickness over sleepers, overhead on racks and at all elevations; hook-up with equipment nozzles; all types of inline and online instruments such as pressure/ thermal safety valves (other than those covered separately), fittings of all sizes i.e. Flow tees, Insulating Joints, LR bends, pig signallers, elbows, reducers, tees, 'o' lets, flanges, blind flanges, spectacle blinds, tapping's for pressure gauges, thermowells, hoses and hose couplings of all sizes, if applicable, vents and drains required for process and hydrotesting purposes etc. including fixing of all types of gaskets (including gaskets for RTJ flanges), bolts, studs and nuts of all sizes; carrying out non-destructive testing (excluding radiography covered subsequently in SOR) such as magnetic particle/ liquid penetration etc. as required; hook-up with existing piping/ pipeline installed as per drawings wherever required & applicable; cleaning and flushing by water/ compressed air, carrying out hydrostatic test, pneumatic test, valve functional test and any other type of testing as specified, de-pressurising, dewatering, drying by compressed air if applicable; cutting/ rebeveling (as required), pre-commissioning and providing commissioning assistance to Commissioning Contractor/ Agency for process piping and commissioning of non-process piping if applicable; clean-up and restoration of site, preparation of as built drawings, documents and project records; transportation of surplus free issue materials to Owner's designated place(s); completing all works in all respects as per the AFC drawings, specifications, standards and other provisions of Contract and instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- a) All butt welded fittings end shall generally match with connecting pipe wall thickness. However, in case of misalignment, contractor shall have to do end preparation accordingly without any extra cost. b) All couplings, nipples, plugs for nipple etc. as required shall be supplied by contractor without any extra cost. c) All Gaskets & Nut-Bolts of adequate quantity shall be supplied and installed without any extra cost (as per PMS, Standard Specification & ITP). d) Supply and Installation of Pipes, Valves, fittings & flanges of size below 2" is covered under this item. e) Any branch connection taken from mainline shall be considered under this SOR item only. No extra cost shall be paid for the above items.
Checking, cleaning, aligning, bending, cutting and bevelling (as required) of pipes for welding & field adjustments including pipe fittings, welding, carrying out non-destructive testing of welds as required including 100% radiography by X-Ray (in case of space constrant & small work by Gamma Ray on Owner's approval) as per specifications in piping of all types and thickness and providing all requisite equipment, labour, supervision, materials, films, consumables, all facilities & personnel to process, develop, examine and interpret radiographs & other tests as required, carrying out repairs of weld-joints found defective by EIC, carrying out re-radiography and other tests as required on repaired joints, etc. as mentioned in SCC and particular job specifications. Complete work for hook-up of proposed piping with existing Piping/ Pipeline including cutting, bevelling, nitrogen purging by cylinder to the specified acceptance criteria before cold cutting, welding and providing manpower assistance during the complete duration of the job including supply of all equipment, tools and tackles, consumables etc. as per the relevant specification, other provisions of contract documents and instruction of Engineer-In-charge. Note: Supply of nitrogen Cylinder (atleast 2 Nos. of nitrogen cylinder at each Hook-Up), Regulator, fitting, hoses etc. and all other material required to complete the job in all aspects are in the scope of contractor.

BACKFILLING after execution of the WORK to proper grade and level by excavating the suitable approved quality of soil from BORROW AREAS arranged by CONTRACTOR for all leads, transporting the earth from borrow area including cleaning & stripping the earth at borrow areas, breaking clods, loading, unloading and laying at all depths and heights in layers of thickness not exceeding 15 cms., watering, rolling and ramming by manual methods/mechanical compactors to achieve 90% of the maximum laboratory dry density, dressing, trimming, levelling the top surface etc. in foundations, plinths, trenches etc. all complete.
Transporting and disposing the SURPLUS EARTH AND DEBRIS including shrubs and vegetations from construction area to areas ANYWHERE OUTSIDE THE PLANT BOUNDARY including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, transportation, loading, unloading, laying at all depths and heights, stacking, levelling and dressing both the area (viz. from where the earth is transported and where it is deposited) to required levels and slopes complete with all lifts as directed. Providing and laying REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE OF M-30 GRADE with 20mm and down size graded crushed stone aggregates/gravel in SUB-STRUCTURE of all types e.g. foundations, footings, raft, beams, slabs, pile caps, retaining walls, jambs, counterforts, buttresses, trenches, manholes,pipe encasement, catchpits, drains, RCC pits, equipment/machine foundations, pedestals, pipe sleepers, columns, plinth beams, suspended floors, beams, staircases, landings, steps, brackets etc. (including single pour concreting upto 250m3), including cost of admixtures if used,providing pockets, openings, recesses, chamfering etc., wherever required, vibrating, tamping, curing and rendering if required to give a smooth and even surface etc. all complete (excluding the Cost of Reinforcement and Shuttering) for all depths below and upto plinth level in any shape, position and thickness etc. all complete as specified, shown and directed. (ALL MATERIALS INCLUDING CEMENT SUPPLIED BY CONTRACTOR AT THEIR COST)

(ALL MATERIALS INCLUDING CEMENT SUPPLIED BY CONTRACTOR AT THEIR COST)
CENTERING AND SHUTTERING (refer specification no. C-SPC-104) Providing and fixing CENTERING AND SHUTTERING in foundations, footings, raft beams, slabs, pile caps, retaining walls, jambs, counter-forts, buttresses, trenches, equipment/machine foundations, pedestals, abutments, pipe sleepers, columns, plinth beams, lintels, suspended slabs, beams, staircases, landings, steps, non-circular tunnels/bunkers/silos/ shafts/ hoppers/liquid storage structures etc. including shuttering for single pour concreting, strutting, bracing, propping etc., keeping the same in position during concreting and removal of the same after specified period etc. for Straight/ Inclined Shuttering, keeping necessary provision for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture etc. all complete and as specified and directed.

Structural Steel Works & Painting (refer specification no. C-SPC-157)
Supplying, transporting, storing, fabricating & Erecting in position and testing/examining bolted and/or welded STRUCTURAL STEEL WORKS of Grade E250 BR/BO at all locations (Location & levels upto & inclusive of 10m above HPP/FGL) including all builtup sections/compound sections made out of rolled sections and/or plates/bent plates in trusses, purlins, wind ties, wind girders, columns, portals, racks, frameworks, crane gantries, surge girders, bracings, floor beams, lifting beams, monorails, platforms, staircases (excluding chequered plates and gratings), ladders, stoppers, brackets, side runners, sagrods, supports for equipment and technological accesories and process piping, hand railings, posts, conveyor galleries, trestles, towers, masts, junction houses etc., cutting to required size, straightening/ bending if required, edge preparation, cleaning, preheating, bolting/welding of joints, (including sealing the joints of box sections with continuous welding), finishing edges by grinding, fixing in line and level with temporary staging & bracing and removal of the same after erection, grouting with Ordinary Grout or premix free flow Nonshrink Grout as specified, including preparation and submission of detailed fabrication drawings, preparing the surface for painting and applying shop primer all complete. Supplying and applying FINISH PAINT of approved quality and shade including a coat of primer as per Specification/BIS Codes over one coat of shop primer already applied including storage, surface preparation, degreasing, cleaning, drying, touching up of shop primer coat, providing temporary staging, scaffolding, testing etc., for steel structures at all levels and locations, all complete as specified. MISCELLANEOUS STEEL WORKS
Supplying, fabricating, fixing and keeping in position at all levels and locations THREADED ANCHOR BOLTS of all diameters and nomenclature including nuts, washers, anchor plates, pipe sleeves etc. in foundations, columns, pedestals, slabs, beams, walls etc. or any other place as directed including handling & transporting, straightening if required, turning from relevant size M.S. rounds to required diameter, threading, welding, providing necessary templates and auxilliary dummy structures, if any, necessary tying and welding with reinforcement, adjustment of shuttering & reinforcement/any other fixture, greasing exposed metal surfaces, covering bolts and packing the sleeves with jute cloth etc. all complete as specified and directed.(SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIALS IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE).
Supplying, transporting, storing, fabricating and fixing in position M.S. METAL INSERT (with lugs) of any shape made out of flats, plates, rolled sections, pipes etc. providing necessary templates, staging, cutting, straightening, if required, bolting, welding as required and embedding in position on both Plain and Reinforced Cement concrete members inclusive of adjusting shuttering & reinforcement/any other fixture, welding where necessary, tying and holding to correct level, line and position, any auxilliary dummy structures to support the heavy inserts, painting exposed surfaces with a coat of Red Oxide Zinc Chromate Primer etc. all complete for all depths and heights as specified and directed (SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIALS IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE).
Supplying, fabricating and erecting in position at all levels and locations bolted, clamped and/or welded GRATING (fabricated as per drawings/ standards) made out of M.S. flats/M.S. flats with M.S. rounds in walkways, platforms, stair treads etc. including cutting to required size, shape, making holes, notches, openings of required size, nosing, straightening if required, making the edges smooth, removing the burrs, fabricating clamps, fixing, welding, preparation and submission of fabrication drawings and preparing the surfaces for galvanising, surface cleaning, wire brushing, removal of mill scale, dust, rust, oil or grease and GALVANISING as specified after fabrication etc. all complete as specified and directed (SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIALS IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE).
Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position at all levels & locations 1000mm high HAND RAILING (for platforms, walkways or any other location as directed etc.) consisting of top rail, mid rail and vertical posts (maximum spacing 1500mm c/c) with 32mm nominal diameter medium grade M.S. Tubes conforming to IS:1239 and M.S. Toe plates, including handling, transporting the same to site workshop and site of work, straightening if required, cutting, bending, notching, welding, bolting, grouting with ordinary grout, cleaning, surface preparation, shop primer as per Specification / BIS Codes,, preparation and submission of fabrication drawings etc. (ALL MATERIALS INCLUDING CEMENT SUPPLIED BY CONTRACTOR AT THEIR COST)). ( Complete handrail work shall be measured as length of top rail only and not length of each element fixed).
Paver Block Walkway
Supplying and placing in position as per approved pattern of Cement Concrete Inter locking paver block 60 mm thick of approved shape, rough finish, M-30 strength of approved brand laid over the sand bed of minimum 40 mm thick. The CC interlocking blocks to be of uniform Grey colour or as approved by EIC complete in all respects , as per technical specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge Note :- 1. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials such paver blocks, sand, earth work in excavation in cutting earth in all conditions, shuttering with all bye works and sundry works. 2.
