Amount

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :

a) 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

a) Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.

a)Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Providing sufficient protective measures such as fixing of barricades, using suitable materials around the manholes and providing warning signals/ lights etc during the working time on roads. Special care shall be taken to safe guard the pedestrians as well as vehicles using the road.

Supplying and fixing Extra Heavy Duty Ductile Iron cover with 800mm dia ( EHD-35 Class conforming to IS :1726-1991) including frame for manholes : a) The Frame of the Cover shall be 800 mm inner dia ,with outer size of the base of the frame 954mm and 100mm depth ( Seating ) confroming to IS 1726:1991 with the load capacity of 35 Tonnes .The Frame shall be made with Extra Heavy duty ductile iron and the Frame shall be fixed in Re-inforced Cement concrete of Mix 1:1.50:3 ( 1 Cement : 1.50coarse sand : 3 Graded stone Aggregate 20mm nominal size ) . The outer Diameter of the Ductile Iron cover shall be 800 mm diameter ( EHD-35 Class conforming to IS :1726-1991) . The Cast iron cover shall have Lifting facility using lifting tools .The total weight of the Cover and Frame shall be not less than 87 Kg.

( The works shall be carried out in roads where busy traffic shall have to be expected for which necessary caution / warning signs / Barricading etc.shall be done .The work includes the cost of Supply and fixing of Manhole Frame / Cover and labour required for fixing Which may involve night time work also .The cost of Re-inforced cement Concrete , re-inforcement , centering and shuttering , Barricading work etc.shall be paid for separately.)
