Earthwork in excavation for all types of road structures such as retaining wall, breast wall, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary Rock,Hard rock, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited ) as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 305 and 603 and as per direction of the Engineer -in - charge including setting out, shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal of material upto any leads and upto any lifts , including dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (one hundered fifty millimetres) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer - in Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental . Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated reinforced cement concrete in Super structure for all types of structure of cement concrete of grade M-25 (M Twenty five) design mix with minimum cement contents of 400 kg (Four hundred kilogram) per cubic metre with 20 mm (Twenty milimetre) nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate as per drawings and MORD technical specifications section 800, 900 and 1400 and curing complete including cost of form work but excluding the cost of reinforcement for reinforced concrete work (Deck slab) including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidents. Providing and laying weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonary, plain/reinforced concrete abutments,wing walls,return walls,and Breast /retaining walls with 100 mm (One hundred milimetre) diametre PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structure with a slope of 1 (one )vertical :20 (twenty) horizontal towards draining face complete as per drawing and technical specifications Clauses 709 and 1206.6 and as per the direction of the Engineer -in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lift and other incidentals.The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government time to time.

Construction of embankment for road way with approved materials obtained from borrow pits , or other sources in layers of suitable thickness not exceeding 200mm (Two hundred milimetre) thick each layers and compacted with 80-100 (Eighty - Hundred) K.N static/ vibratory road roller to meet the requirement of table 300.1 and 300.2 of MORD technical specifications to lines, grades, levels and cross sections as per Drawings and Technical specification clause 301 and other relevant clauses including preparation of foundation for embankment in all kinds and classification of soils including saturated soil and dewatering/ bailing out of water where ever required including handling of material for construction of embankments within all leads and lifts. The rate shall include carriage of machineries, equipments, tools and materials and safety measures payment of all taxes, octroi royality and other incidentals necessary to complete the work in all respects. Providing and laying (to level or slope ) 900 mm (Nine hundred milimetre) diametre reinforced cement concrete non pressure pipe I.S Class NP2 for culverts on first class bedding or granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (one cement : two sand) but excluding the cost of excavation, protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1101 and as per the direction of the Engineer -in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lift and other incidental . Providing and laying design mix cement concrete of M-30 grade, in roads/ taxi tracks/ runways, using cement content as per design mix, using coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportions as per approved & specified design criteria, providing dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars wherever required, laying at site, spreading and compacting mechanically by using needle and surface vibrators, levelling to required slope/ camber, finishing with required texture, including steel form work with sturdy M.S. channel sections, curing, making provision for contraction/ expansion, construction & longitudinal joints (10 mm wide x 50 mm deep) by groove cutting machine, providing and filling joints with approved joint filler and sealants, complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (Item of joint fillers, sealants, dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars to be paid separatelyCement content considered in M-30 is @ 340 kg/cum. Excess/ less cement used as per design mix is payable/ recoverable separately.Cement concrete manufactured in automatic batching plant (RMC plant) i/c transportation to site in transit mixer.
