(1) Railways shall purchase these items from Pharma CPSEs approved by Railway Board. CPSE firms should invariably comply with the terms and conditions as mentioned in Railway Board letter No. 2010/H/4/1/1dt.24.02.21 attached to this tender as ANNEXURE. (2) In case Pharma CPSEs fail to quote for the medicines, the procuring entity would be at liberty to make purchases from other Railway Board approved sources/firms and Purchase Orders will be placed on the firms whose quoted product is in the list of products (eligible number of products) for which the firm is approved by the Railway Board. (3) If the Pharma CPSEs fail to perform as per P.O, they would also be subject to payment of liquidated damages or any other penalty as per IRS Conditions of Contract
Only CPSE/Railway Board Approved Sources are permitted to quote in this Tender. Firms other than CPSE/Railway Board Approved Sources will be summarily rejected.
